TABERNACLE OF DAVID
Update From Israel

Leaders of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood toured official Washington last week, largely receiving a warm welcome despite their history of terrorism and murder. The group’s “Freedom and Justice Party” has dominated Egyptian elections and the new Parliament, and their candidate Khairat al-Shater is widely expected to win the upcoming presidential election.

This radical group pretends to be moderate in the US, but there is no mistaking their hostile intent toward Israel. They have repeatedly called for the peace treaty with Israel to be overturned and recently halted crucial shipments of natural gas to the Jewish state. Israel’s largest neighbor is once again becoming a hostile threat.

THURSDAY, MARCH 22, 2012 - PRAYER FOR MORE RAIN

A team of five prayer warriors with shofars boarded Tuvia's Jeep for a road trip to the water sources in North Israel. The Hazbani, Dan, and Banias rivers were flowing today with a mighty roar!! We declared scriptures at each river and sounded the shofars, shattering the darkness in the region.

A beautiful sunny day with a cool breeze with Mt. Hermon towering above us, we walked along the banks of the Dan River on the grounds of Kibbutz Dafna. We sounded the shofars in this very quiet and tranquil community, praying for protection over each family here.

At the Banias river, wild trout were jumping out of the water making their way upstream. As the snow melts it begins its descent to these tributaries and into the Jordan River.

At Saar Falls we sounded the shofars with a shout from the visitors at the lookout. The Druze vendors asked to sound the shofars again and the children on tour from the schools gathered around. As we traveled up the road in the valley of Ein Quinya, a Fire and Rescue team was
repelling down the mountain with a stretcher, part of their rescue training. One of the families we visit lives in Ein Quinya and we prayed over this village.

Our last stop was Mt. Bental overlooking Syria. It is a strategic lookout and location for praying and sounding the shofars. As we declared Isaiah 55:10 and sounded the shofars, a tour group was standing behind us and shouted "again". We sounded the shofars two more times
and as we were leaving the mountain rain clouds formed overhead!! FIVE DAYS LATER, WE HAD ABUNDANT RAIN FOR TWO DAYS!!

Dozens of Palestinian protesters arrested, dozens injured in IDF clashes on Land Day – Gili Cohen and Nir Hasson -www.haaretz.com

At least 34 arrested and 15 injured in Jerusalem, West Bank sites; IDF estimates Land Day events winding down.

At least 34 Palestinians were arrested during clashes at protests to mark Land Day on Friday, and dozens were injured.

Some 15 Palestinians were detained in Issawiya on suspicion of throwing stones, while the remainder were detained in Jerusalem. A total of 15 Palestinians were estimated to have been injured in Friday’s clashes.

The IDF estimated that events were starting to wind down on Friday evening, with a few dozen Palestinians still demonstrating Qalandiyah on Friday evening, a few dozen still demonstrating at the Erez crossing.

The IDF spokesperson, Brigadier General Yoav Mordechai, said "It's important to remember that this is the first day. The Nakba and Naksa days are ahead of us, and that is where the challenge will be."

One protester was moderately wounded at the border crossing near Rachel’s Tomb, and was taken to hospital in Hebron. He was apparently wounded after being hit in the head by tear gas.

At the Erez crossing, eight people were wounded after demonstrators approached the entrance to the crossing and did not answer the IDF’s requests to stop approaching, and the IDF opened fire. Sniper teams stationed at the crossing reported eight wounded, mostly moderately, one severely. The Palestinian media reported nine Palestinians were injured.

Some 250 Palestinians protested at the Qalandiyah checkpoint. Demonstrators burned tires and hurled rocks at soldiers, who responded with stun grenades and tear gas, and protests continued on Friday evening. The IDF used two crowd dispersal methods and tear gas at the checkpoint.

An additional demonstration took place at the Gaza Strip near Khan Yunis, where four people were reportedly wounded by sniper fire when they approached the fence.

Another site of demonstrations was in Jordan, where 14,000 people took part in a large demonstration, not far from the Allenby Bridge. The demonstrators did not come into contact with IDF forces stationed in the area, and the demonstration was dispersed after that. Some 5,000 people gathered in Lebanon who arrived at Fort Beaufort. Some of the protesters were Palestinians from the refugee camps in Lebanon.

Unlike last year, there were no incidents this year in the Golan Heights, as was estimated by Israeli intelligence. The IDF spokesperson, Brigadier General Yoav Mordechai, he explained that the reason for this that “Assad is busy with himself these days."

The demonstrations in Israel mark the anniversary of Land Day, an event marked annually by Arab Israelis to commemorate the 1976 protests in which six Arabs were killed by security forces.

Israel bracing for Friday’s “March to Jerusalem”
Thu, 29 Mar 2012 05:49:21

Dear Friends of Israel,

Government and security officials are bracing for widespread protests and demonstrations…and the threat of violent terrorist attacks…during Friday’s “March to Jerusalem.” This protest is planned to feature large groups marching on Israel’s borders from Gaza, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan. A similar protest last year saw widespread violence and more than a dozen killed in the riots that broke out.

According to the event’s official statement, “Our aim is to end the Zionist policies of apartheid, ethnic cleansing and Judaization, which all harm the people, land and sanctity of Jerusalem. The GMJ (Global March to Jerusalem) is comprised of a diverse coalition of Palestinian, Arab, and international activists who are united in the struggle to liberate the holy city of Jerusalem (the city of peace) from illegal Zionist occupation.”

This protest is just one more reminder of how many there are in our world that hate Israel and the Jewish people…and will stop at nothing to see Israel destroyed. There is no possibility of peace with such people. They only want death and destruction. Their desire is to see Israel completely destroyed and the Jewish people driven from the Holy Land.

2 Timothy 2:3 "Endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ."
MONDAY, MARCH 19TH
Departure at 7 a.m. for Kibbutz Lavi to board the End-Time Handmaiden's bus. We were leading a group of 40 prayer warriors to the
Golan Heights to intercede along the borders of Syria and Lebanon. Instead of talking or sleeping on the bus, everyone entered
into praise and worship with me as I played the harp. As we traveled along the highway, the sounds of Heaven filled the atmosphere
throughout the Land. Karen began making declarations of eyes being opened to see their Messiah Yeshua, as we came to our first lookout,
a kibbutz in former Syrian territory, "Gadot" The shofars were sounded and prayer for every family living here for protection.

After viewing the movie about the Yom Kippur War in 1973, we traveled to the battleground called the "Valley of Tears". Many Jewish soldiers
were killed here on the border with Syria in 1973 yet against all odds, a fierce tank battle with Syrian soldiers ended in victory for Israel. The God of
Israel is Mighty, The God of Israel knows no defeat, He leads His people into battle, and before Him the enemy flees.

On the way to the Lebanon border, many were crying out for the families on this most northwestern city of Rosh Hanikra. We walked up the hill to
the border fence with Lebanon. As we stood at the gate, we received permission from the IDF to sound the shofar. A team of four soldiers came
and watched as the shofar was sounded. A shout of victory went up!

Thank you for lifting us up in prayer as we go the borders.

Terror on Jerusalem's light rail
Thursday, March 15, 2012 | Ryan Jones

A 19-year-old female Israeli soldier was stabbed multiple times and seriously wounded by a Palestinian Arab assailant aboard Jerusalem's new light rail transit system on Thursday morning.
The attack occurred near the northern end of the light rail's route as it passes through the Arab neighborhood of Beit Hanina. A short time later police arrested the man they believe to be behind the attack as he made his way through a checkpoint leading from Jerusalem to Palestinian Authority-controlled areas.
An eyewitness recounted the heartbreaking scene for the Ynet news portal:
"I was sitting on the train, there were no screams or anything to indicate something had happened. When I looked back I suddenly saw a commotion and as I approached I saw the young woman bleeding. She mumbled, 'why did this happen to me.'"
The victim is at a Jerusalem hospital suffering from serious stab wounds to her chest.
The Jerusalem Municipality temporarily cancelled train service to northern Jerusalem in the wake of the attack. Critics of the light rail project long warned that it would be nearly impossible to protect passengers from stabbings, shootings and bombings aboard the largely unmonitored trains.

FROM MIKE EVANS: I want to share with you the truth about what happened that you won’t hear from the liberal media.
Despite President Obama’s call for more stringent sanctions against Iran, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called for “the Zionist regime” to be taken to pieces. He has declared that “anybody who recognizes Israel will burn in the fire of the Islamic nation’s fury.”
When I arranged an exclusive interview with him for the Fox News Network, he said to me, “America is the big Satan; Israel is the little Satan, but both are going down.”
To Ahmadinejad, America has become a toothless and clawless tiger, no longer able to stop his rogue state from using its enriched uranium to make nuclear weapons. God help us and Israel if his perception is true and his threats are more than boastful talk.
This issue has become more critical than ever since Prime Minister Netanyahu’s visit with President Obama. Mr. Netanyahu requested advanced “bunker-busting” bombs and aircraft necessary to refuel in mid-air. The request was apparently denied by Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and/or other US officials. White House spokesperson Jay Carney stated that there had been no direct talks between the prime minister and President Obama regarding this matter. One Israeli newspaper reported, however, that the president had based any military assistance on the assurance that Israel would not attack Iran in 2012, an election year.

200,000 Israelis in Bomb Shelters as more than
100 Rockets Strike Southern Israel

Dear Friends of Israel,

A major outbreak of violence from Gaza over the weekend forced more than 200,000 Israelis into bomb shelters. More than 100 rockets and missiles were fired into Israel from Gaza. Israel's “Iron Dome” missile defense system intercepted many of them, and no fatalities were reported, but the damage from the strikes was intensive. This new round of terror followed Israel's success last week in stopping a major terror attack plot.

Israeli Defense Forces launched a strike that killed two terrorists involved in planning the attack, including the commander of the Popular Resistance Committee, a terrorist group operating in Gaza. An attack like the one last year across the lightly-defended Sinai border that killed eight Israelis was in the final stages when the IDF took action. Remember that Gaza is the land Israel gave up seven years ago in exchange for “peace.” It didn’t work then, and it won’t work now! The enemies of Israel have no interest in peace; they want the Jewish state destroyed and the Jewish people killed.

In His presence is fullness of joy!

Purim is creeping up on us, and the shelves are filled with “Hamantaschen”—Haman’s Ears—filled with dates, or poppy seed, or raisins, or jams indeed almost every possible flavour. It is probably the most appropriate of festivals right now as one talks of the evil coming from Persia. From the town of Shushan the Grand Vizier, Haman, spoke evil of the Jews, convincing the King that they wanted to take over his world. It took a woman, Esther, guided by her Uncle Mordechai, to convince the King that indeed the evil one was Haman and thus saved the Jews.

Haman was led through town, backwards on his own white horse for all to see his idiocy. Ahmedinejad—take note. Every Purim, families prepare “Mishloach manot”—gift packages (of food of course!) to give to friends and neighbours—usually of sweet treats to ensure that those you know have a truly festive Purim to celebrate our success over the evil Persian. Zvi has a philosophy that every Jewish festival is “They tried to kill us, we won.”

As Jews around the world prepare to celebrate Purim, another plot hatched in Persia to destroy them hangs like a dark cloud over the feast. Today, it is our moment to stand as Esther and Mordecai did and do our part to deliver Israel from destruction.
