100 Days to Set the Course for the Future!

Day1 of 100 Days to Set the Course for the Future!
by Chuck Pierce on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 6:22pm

When I was in Alaska less than two weeks ago, the Lord began to speak about the 100 days ahead. I looked up and saw a window. Within the window were 100 doors. This looked like an Advent Calendar, where you open a door a day to find a unique surprise each day. Not only is there a surprise, but each day you uncover revelation that reveals a story and gives you a clear vision for the season ahead! During our Head of the Year Gathering the Lord began to give additional revelation:

"I am sending My lightnings! I have been waiting to fill My children's mouths with the voice of Heaven! I am sending forth MY messengers of lightening this hour. I have a people that will become lightning rods! They will then become storms in the earth. You will create storms and you will storm atmospheres of darkness in days ahead.

"You stand at crossroads. Nations stand at crossroads. The nations are yearning and saying, 'It is time for us to run. Show us which way to run.' My people will determine the way nations in the Valley of Decision will choose to go! My people will split the occult powers that are holding entire nations captive.

"I am entering you into a 100 day window where you will begin to open what has not yet flowed down from My Throne, to create the disturbances in the atmospheres of the earth. For now is My time that the disturbances of earth will occur. You are entering into a season where the earth will be disturbed! This will allow glory to rise. You will be like one who penetrates what has not been penetrated. You will pierce through and into structures that have refused to give up captured blessings!

"You are entering an apostolic and accelerating season! I will send you into places where My Government does not exist! You are entering the apostolic season of going forth. Be willing to go to places that you have never gone before! Be willing to be on teams that will demonstrate My power! Separation has now been activated. Those who have separated will now go forth and illuminate. Visit the threshing floor! At the threshing floors of your ministry and territories, the separation that is necessary to pull in your next wealth structure will occur! I am watching and waiting for you to stand on the threshing floor! Then, wealth can be released.

"The Treasuries of Heaven and Earth will shake. Watch and hear the announcements of the Treasury over these next 100 days! The announcement of the treasuries of the earth will mean that I am shifting My people into a new anointing.
"I am separating the Esaus and Jacobs in your region. That which has warred in your midst as Esau, against My Jacobs, will now change! Lightning is falling on the Jacobs of this hour.

"To the mothers of Israel, I say, 'Rise up and prophecy what I have shown you! I have shown you what is to come, but you have submitted that into the atmosphere wrongly! Prophesy and submit to the atmosphere. Cry out in the temples what is to come. Just as I revealed to Rebekah Jacob's call, I have revealed already to the mothers of Israel the calls of My leaders for the future. Open your mouths and speak these calls forth. I am expanding My people and I am bringing down within you that which will explode and cause you to expand. Move with Me, for even the place you stand in here is not the place in which I intend to perform My acts.'

"This is the beginning of preparing the way into the miracle acts for the future. Know this: I now am activating you and you will be those that target what you were afraid to target in the last season. I will show you how to shoot that arrow that is rising up from within the depths of your belly. The arrow will come from your mouth and will penetrate what you could not previously penetrate. Get ready. You have been activated into the season called 'Lightning'. You have been commissioned to go forth and break open and demonstrate My plan in the season ahead.

"Do not allow the votes of some nation to cause you to back away. I have a Bride that is captured in those nations that are set against Me. I will now activate and send My people in like lightning strikes, to cause the Bride to be liberated.

"You are entering a 'going' season. You are entering an 'activated' season. You are entering a season of demonstration. You are entering a season when every thought you have you will activate and produce victory. You are entering a season of corporate deliverance. Entire congregations will be delivered in a day. You stand at the crossroads of deliverance for cities and nations. Deliverance is now being released into the earth. Deliverance will now explode throughout the earth realm. I am positioning and synergizing My gifts NOW for this hour.

"Your left foot will now be able to be used to crush heads of serpents. I am anointing that left foot to crush serpents. Your right foot will find its hold to climb." (Then I saw the side of a mountain with people's left feet going on a serpents' heads and right feet allowing people to crush and leap.) "You are entering into a season of crushing and leaping. You will crush the enemy and leap onto the next ledge for vision. Get ready. You are going forth crushing and leaping into the year ahead."

Blessings,

Day 2 of 100 Days: Read Num. 10 & Rev. 4
by Chuck Pierce on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 7:22pm

This is the night of the "Blowing Of The Trumpets". Decree that the heavens will open and you will learn how to prosper.

Day 3 of 100 Days: Postioning For Your Portion: Read 2 Chornicles 20
by Chuck Pierce on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 5:29pm

One of the most beautiful stories about possessing inheritance comes from 2 Chronicles 20. In the context of this passage, A federation of enemy nations was coming against the tribe of Judah to overtake it. In days past, God had prevented Israel from invading these nations, because God always knows what wars can be won. He knew that as these enemy nations came together, their multiplied strength would over power Judah.

Perhaps you can relate to this story, feeling as though numerous enemies are coming against you. It may seem that when you have defeated one, another rises. You may have seen many things in your life fall into rubble, but take heart! God is with you and He has a plan for overthrowing enemies.

Such was the case in 2 Chronicles 20. Judah's king at the time was Jehoshaphat, who was a godly man. Through prayer and fasting, Jehoshaphat sought the Lord for a strategy to defeat the enemies standing in the way of Judah's God-given inheritance. God is always faithful to those who cry out to Him. When Jehoshaphat cried out, God answered through a prophet who gave the following detailed instructions for victory:
They had to let go of fear. It was not their battle; it was God's
1. They had to position themselves to meet the enemy head-on.
2. They were to stand still and the salvation of God.
3. They had to believe by faith that God would defeat their enemies.
4. They had to believe the word of the prophets over their lives and inheritance.
As they followed God's plan, Jehoshaphat led them into worship and instructed the people to posture themselves in faith. Faith is that pause between knowing what God's plan is and seeing it actually take place. Faith sees the ruins. Faith sees what has been torn down. Faith sees what has never been completed. But faith can look at a situation and see what God sees- the thing already rebuilt or completed.

So as they mingled their worship with faith, and obeyed God, the enemies who were set against then were utterly destroyed, and total victory was theirs. In fact, their enemies turned against each other and every one was killed. Not one had escaped.

As you meditate today, hopefully you, like Jehoshaphat, will cry out to God and find the keys for possessing your inheritance.

Day 4 of 100 Days: Success! Read Ps. 139:17-18 Ps. 1:3 Jn. 1:42 Matt 16:18
by Chuck Pierce on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 10:43am

Jehoshaphat sought God and was successful in what he was to accomplish. God also longs for us to succeed-every one of us. He did not create us to be sad, defeated failures. Although that does not mean that we will never experience failure, it does mean we are not created to be failures. Read Psalms 139:17-18
God's loving and precious thoughts were not only toward David, who wrote this psalm, but they are also toward each and every one of us. Part of God's redemptive plan for our lives is to see that we gain whatever we need, whenever we need it, in order to accomplish His purposes for us. Those purposes include our success.

Success is defined as "turning out well or attaining a goal." It means to flourish, to prosper or to thrive. Success is God's will for our lives. Psalms 1:3 says, the godly person "shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper." There is a portion, both spiritual and physical, that God has set aside for each of Hid children. As we learn what our portion is, and God moves us toward it, we become successful in our walk with Him.

Such was the case with Peter. When Jesus first laid eyes on Peter, He saw far more than a local fisherman; He saw a man with a high purpose in the kingdom of God. "Then Andrew brought Simon to meet Jesus. Looking intently at Simon, Jesus said, 'You are Simon, the son of John-but you will be called Cephas {which means Peter}'" John 1:42

The name Peter means Rock. Though Peter had his ups and downs while yet a disciple, and even denied Christ at the Crucifixion, it was after the Resurrection when the Lord said to Peter, "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it" (Matt. 16:18). And so it was that Peter became a great apostle, spreading the gospel and eventually giving his life for the cause of Christ.

Even though Peter was nothing particularly special at the time of their meeting, Jesus saw in him a great destiny. I suppose that Jesus knew a bumpy road would lie ahead for the young disciple. Even so, He set a course to lead and guide Peter through to the place where he would become a highly successful citizen of the kingdom of God, upon whom the Lord said He would build His church.

Today, the Holy Spirit sees us just as Jesus saw Peter-reaching our fullest Kingdom potential. No matter where we are in life, or how insignificant we may feel, the Holy Spirit can see ahead to the day when we are successfully fulfilling the destiny for which we have been created. Just as Jesus called Peter by his new name long before its meaning became clear, so the Holy Spirit calls out to us in this hour-as children of destiny and success, even though we may seem far from it.
Specifically, the Lord longs for us to succeed:
by moving our lives forward so we are not constantly living in the pain and regret of the past;
· by causing us to prevail over the enemy of our souls so that we are able to resist temptation and reclaim our inheritance;
· by causing us to act wisely and strategically;
· by promoting us to new levels at the right season; and
· by helping us to achieve our destined purposes when we cry out to Him along our paths.
In essence, as God's children, He longs for us to succeed even as He succeeds!

Day 5 of 100 Days: Keys to Success: Read Matt. 6:24-25,32-34 Phil. 4:12-13 Phil 1: 20-21 Phil 3
by Chuck Pierce on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 10:45am

Achieving the success and prosperity that God has for us is not automatic just because we are His children. We must cooperate and participate with the plan of God to help us move toward all He has for us. The following are some keys to help along the way:

1. Put God first. "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? . . . For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things" (Matt. 6:24-25,32-34, emphasis added).
As this passage so clearly states, we cannot serve both God and the love of wealth. God is not merely a means to our financial security. People with that attitude will never reach their full potential until their hearts have been changed. God is not our servant. Instead, we are His servants. The apostle Paul, one of God's greatest success stories, wrote, "I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Phil. 4:12-13).
We may experience times of hunger in our lives, but if we are following God and seeking Him first, those times can be considered as a few pages in the book of our ultimate success. God knows what we need. The promise in Matthew 6 is that if we seek Him first, He will see to it that what we need, when we need it, will be there for us.

2. Follow covenant agreement. Every one of us who has experienced the saving grace of God has entered into a covenant agreement with Him. Many analogies are used throughout Scripture to define the relationship: He is our Father; we are His children. He is our Shepherd; we are the sheep of His pasture. He is the Head; we are the Body. He is the Master; we are the servants.
Each of these analogies paints a simple picture. It is up to God to provide for our needs, to promote us to the next level, to teach and guide us, to help us move forward and prevail. It is up to God to see that we have a portion and an inheritance. But, it is up to us to obey His commandments at every turn in order to see all His provision come to fruition. If we break the covenant through disobedience, rebellion, unbelief, sluggishness, forgetting God or hidden sin, we bring peril to our own success.

3. Seek strategy from God to reach your goal. The concept of reaching toward a goal is both wise and biblical. In Philippians 3, Paul writes, "No, dear brothers and sisters, I am still not all I should be, but I am focusing all my energies on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us up to heaven" (vv. 13-14, NLT). Here Paul reveals that the success God has for us is not just for this earthly life, but will continue in heaven.
Reaching toward our goal of godly success seems to have a dual purpose. First, we are reaching toward our God-given potential to accomplish His plan for us while here on earth. Second, we are laying up a prize in heaven that is eternal. What a complete picture of success! God has a strategy for each of us to reach our goal. By seeking Him, we will gain pieces of the strategy along the way. As we are obedient to follow that strategy, we will one day stand before Him with confidence, knowing we reached the end of the race with success.

4. Live in Christ. "For I live in eager expectation and hope that I will never do anything that causes me shame, but that I will always be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past, and that my life will always honor Christ, whether I live or I die. For to me, living is for Christ, and dying is even better" (Phil. 1:20-21, NLT). Here again, Paul brings success into an eternal perspective. To live for Christ and to honor Him in all that we do will bring us ultimate success and prosperity, whether we live or die. Many honorable saints throughout the history of the Church have shed their blood as martyrs for Christ Jesus. These are great success stories in the Kingdom.
But so, too, are those who live following Christ, not loving their lives unto death. These Christians are also honorable saints who are great success stories in the Kingdom. Success is as simple as knowing that when we allow Christ to lead us, we will always prosper in our souls, and that we will be blessed in all areas of life, both now and eternally.
Each one of us has a God-given destiny of success. That is a part of the inheritance we have as children of God. But what does having an inheritance in God really mean? Let's take a look.

Day 6 of 100 Days: What is Inheritance?: Read Ps. 16:5 Matt 5:5 Acts 26:18 Colossians 1:12 Gal. 522-23
by Chuck Pierce on Sunday, October 2, 2011 at 9:09am

Webster describes inheritance as a portion, birthright or heritage; a right of ownership. As believers we must agree that the ultimate issue in inheritance is eternal life. There is no greater inheritance that we can ever hope to obtain. Once that issue is settled, the greatest portion of our eternal inheritance is secure.
But there is more to inheritance than a promise of everlasting life. In the Bible, inheritance is often used to describe the present or future blessings of the believer's spiritual life. Psalm 16:5, for instance, says, "O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup; you maintain my lot." In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus says, "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth" (Matt. 5:5). Other such Scriptures include Acts 26:18: "That they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me," and Colossians 1:12: "Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light."

As Christians, it is true that God has provided for us a rich spiritual inheritance, both here and in heaven, that no unbeliever will ever enjoy. Because our names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life, we have inherited such blessings as love, joy, peace and other fruit of the Spirit (see Gal. 5:22-23). As sons and daughters of righteousness, we have assurance of our heavenly standing. We know that God will never leave us or forsake us. The promises of inheritance for God's children are endless.

But figurative uses of inheritance, such as in the previously mentioned Scriptures, might lead us to believe that God's main interest in our inheritance is purely spiritual. Such Scriptures also seem to indicate that our inheritance is collective rather than individual. But God has a much more specific interest in each of us as individuals. Each of us has an inheritance that is uniquely our own. This unique inheritance includes many facets, such as our individual destinies, or that which God is longing to accomplish through each life for His glory.

It also includes physical inheritance, or those material things that God has set aside for each of us. Material possessions, such as money and lands, are important not only for our own necessity and enjoyment, but are also essential for the advancement of God's kingdom here on earth.
God's chosen spouse and our children may also be elements of personal inheritance. While they are part of our personal inheritance that we enjoy, they, specifically our children, are also recipients of our inheritance.
Through our family, the deposit of God, which He has placed in one generation can be passed on to the next generation and beyond. Proverbs 13:22 says, "A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children." Possessing our inheritance is not just an issue for ourselves, but for our children and grandchildren.
So, what is inheritance? Simply this: Inheritance is possessing the portion that God has given you.

Day 7 of 100 Days: "Come Up Here": Read Rev. 4
by Chuck Pierce on Monday, October 3, 2011 at 9:03am

One of the most repeated words from the Lord over the last few months has been, "Come up here." God has been calling us to come up to a new place of authority, vision, perspective, identity and many other things.

In Revelation 4:1 the Apostle John received a similar instruction, "Come up here and I will show you what must take place after these things." What John "saw" was the interaction between heaven and earth based on the revelation of who God is and the worship that arose from that revelation.
The first revelation of God was Creator and a song of worship was sung, "Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things…" Immediately John saw that there was a book of new revelation but it was sealed. A call went out for someone to open the book, but no one was worthy. John grieved because the revelation could not be opened.

This brought the second revelation of God - the Lion of Judah who appeared as a lamb who had been slain. A new song or worship burst forth, "Worthy are You to take the book and to open its seals for You were slain to purchase for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation." The seals could be broken and the book could be opened!

The former revelation of God as Creator could not break the seals and open the book. A new revelation of God and a response of worship to Him based on that revelation was necessary.

A new revelation of God in heaven brought a new response of worship which unlocked new revelation of what was to happen on earth. This pattern is repeated through the book of Revelation. God is revealed and worshiped as the Righteous Judge, the Captain of the Hosts, the Ancient of Days and the Bridegroom. Each new revelation brought a new song of worship. Each new song of worship released activity on earth.
God wants us to participate in this dynamic interaction between heaven and earth. He is opening a door and calling us to "Come up here." God wants to reveal Himself to us in new ways so that we can respond with new expressions of worship. As we do this the revelation of what God is doing in the earth realm will be released to us.

Throughout this 100 days, listen for the voice calling you to come up. Look for the open door and enter a new realm of revelation and worship.
During the day today read the book of Revelation. Ask the Lord to give you a new revelation of Himself. Sing a new song or express your worship to Him in a new way. Watch for the release of new activity, signs and wonders in the earth.

Day 8 Of 100 Days: "Open Heaven": Read: 2 Samuel 22:14, Ps. 68:33, 103:19, 115, 2 Chr. 6:14, Is. 54:5, Ex. 33:15, Num. 6
by Chuck Pierce on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 10:38am

Dear Friends:
I asked Norma Sarvis from Jerusalem to write her perspective on "Open Heaven". I love it! We are already receiving amazing reports and testimonies of what is happening as people press in these during this 100 days. Keep opening the window of heaven one door at a time. Open door 8 today!
Chuck D. Pierce

Often when I think of God I think: He is God of heaven and earth. He speaks and thunders from heaven (2 Samuel 22:14: "The Lord thundered from heaven and the Most High uttered His voice." We think of Him as dwelling in heaven and answering from heaven. He rides on the heaven of heavens (Ps. 68:33). His throne is in heaven (Ps. 103:19) Ps. 115 says "Our God is in heaven".

He is also God of earth. Solomon said in 2 Chronicles 6:14: "LORD God of Israel, [there is] no God in heaven or on earth like You, who keep [Your] covenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their hearts. While His throne is in heaven, His footstool is on earth! "He is called the God of the whole earth!".(Is. 54:5)

The clearest sign Hebraically of an open heaven is His face. The word 'face' in Hebrew and the word 'presence' in Hebrew are the same word. They cannot be separated. Where HIs face is, His presence is. Where His presence is, His face is. We see this over and over in Scripture. Moses said: "If Your presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here." (It can also be read: If Your face does not go with us, do not bring us up from here) (Exodus 33:15). I love the Aaronic blessing found in Numbers 6:

"And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 'Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, 'This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And
give you peace." ' So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them."

He makes HIs face shine on us. He puts His countenance (face) on us. He makes HIs presence shine on us. HIs face is a very present event. It is His presence. It is His atmosphere in an extremely personal way. Jacob saw God face to face. Moses saw God face to face. His face, His presence IS the most open heaven is for us! There is no blockage between heaven and us and between God on earth and us, when His face is on us!

I remember in University I was an intern in a speech clinic. Supervisors watched me through a one-way mirror and made their comments and evaluated me almost daily. When I started out, I was not a believer. I was insecure, fearful, and extremely shy. My supervisors repeatedly said: You are not looking at your clients. There is no eye contact. You are not 'with them'. You must look face to face to make a connection and to let them know you are there for them. For months I had to conciously practice that..making myface available to them. Looking on them and really seeing them. When I came to the Lord and realized HIs face was on me and He saw me, I understood how much He was WITH me and for me. And how the God of heaven and the God of earth was a personal and loving and in my face God. Then as I learned Hebrew, I saw: ahh..He looks on me and His presence is right there with me! And we are not in some clinic doing therapy. He and I are working together to be His presence here. He and I can walk this way, and I can live in victory and in HIs peace this way. I can also block His presence with my disobedience and my hard heart at times. But to keep communication and relationship with the God of heaven and earth and to be assured of HIs presence and His face and this open flow between us, I can worship and adore Him and talk to Him and seek Him and welcome Him daily and hourly and sometimes minute by minute into my atmosphere. I can laugh with Him and sing to Him and weep with Him and be transparent before Him. I can say Yes
when He speaks and I can spend time in HIs Word and praise and breathe deep of Him.

Throughout these 100 days, think on HIs presence and His face. When you are with a friend or a spouse or your child and you look at them face to face and are 'present' with them, realize the God of heaven and earth shines His face on you and the doors of heaven itself are open to you.

Day 9 of 100 Days "The Conflict Of Covenant" Read Ps. 24:1, Hab. 2:14, Prov. 29:18
by Chuck Pierce on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 10:41am

This is a time to pursue personal, corporate, territorial and generational breakthrough! Biblically, the year always starts with Rosh Hoshana. Most people do not understand time very well, since they do not understand the earthly time frame the Bible reflects.
We can see many blessings manifested on earth in this season. We are entering into covenant conflict, which means that we are war- ring to see these blessings spread throughout the earthly realm. Psalm 24:1 declares that the "earth is the LORD's, and the fullness thereof " (KJV). God has a plan of fullness. We must go to war to see this fullness manifested. When we open the portals of heaven, those blessings that have been shut up and unable to be seen will be manifested on earth.

Open the heavens and let the dew drop down! Lord, rend the heavens and come down! Look up and look again-your prayers and intercessions are creating a portal for His glory to overtake your land! When we are at the right place at the right time, we can see further than we have ever seen before. We are not a people limited to the finite space that we are in. We are a people filled with vision.

We can sense His presence, feel His presence, see His presence and move in His presence. God has promised to cover the earth with His glory (see Hab. 2:14). When He planted the Garden, His original intent was for His glory never to decrease, but to increase. As His glory increased, He could give us vision of how to effectively invade the whole earth with His presence. However, when we listened to the enemy, our perfect communion with God was broken and our vision be- came hindered. One word for glory is wealth. Open the heavens and see wealth released.

The same principle applies today. The enemy wants to stop the portal of glory from interacting with the earth. If we adhere to the plans of Satan rather than listen to God's voice, we limit God's presence from moving through us and increasing our boundaries. Because of this, there is a huge war raging over His presence. The enemy does all he can to prevent us from seeing what the Lord wants us to see. Satan longs for us not to have vision for our future. Remember, without a vision, we perish (see Prov. 29:18).

Day 10 of 100 Days: "Sound and Presence" Read: Ex. 33:15, Num. 9, Dan. 7:13
by Chuck Pierce on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 11:41am

One time, Pam, my wife, and I were confronted by an evil spirit. We were seeking the Lord diligently. He was delivering us of many iniquities. I was also declaring that any familial spirit that had been in our bloodlines and had been sent against us would now have to fully let go and remove itself from our sphere of authority. When I commanded this force to leave our home, the change was instant and, as crazy as it sounds, the room actually lit up. God's presence so flooded our bedroom that it became as bright as day. When we resisted evil, His glory came in and over- took our atmosphere.

The incident that night revealed a level of warfare we had never been in before-but that was not the most important thing. The main point was that God's manifest presence was now free to rule this particular area of our lives. This also exemplified a truth that is key to this chapter: Once evil is confronted in our atmosphere, then God's presence has the liberty to replace evil with glory.

His presence is everything. When He is not present a curse is in operation. Like Moses said, "If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here" (Exod. 33:15). His presence keeps us in His perfect timing. In the Bible, trumpets were an important instrument that produced sound and movement. In God's kingdom, movement and advancement should always be linked with presence.

Sound and presence go hand in hand. When the cloud starts moving and the trumpet starts blowing, the Body of Christ must move forward, accelerate and keep going. We find in Numbers 9 that throughout the Israelites' journey in the wilderness, the Lord accompanied them by means of the miraculous cloud of glory, which overshadowed the camp. When the cloud lifted, indicating the time for breaking camp had arrived, the priesthood sounded a long trumpet blast on a pair of silver trumpets to alert the people that the time for setting out had arrived. They also used other distinctive trumpet blasts. They sounded staccato trumpet blasts to convene the assembly. The priests sounded different combinations of trumpet blasts for declaring the onset of festivals and Sab- baths, and yet other blasts for invoking divine assistance in battle.

The use of the trumpets to indicate the onset of the Sabbath and appointed times carried over into temple practice and, even later, into synagogue practice. Here is how the rabbis operated: Six blasts were blown on Friday evening before the Sabbath. The first one warned people to cease working in the fields. The second one warned people in the city to cease working. The third warned people to kindle their Sabbath lights. . . . Finally, the last three, a tekiah, teruah and a tekiah were blown to mark the onset of the Sabbath. Therefore, we can surmise that sound and presence work together from heaven into the earth to guide us forward and keep us in time with decisions, confrontations and victories in the earth.

Sound and presence always accompany visitation and will continue until the Lord's final return. There is that appointed time when all of Israel calls on the Lord and the great cloud of faithful witnesses assemble for their rule. Daniel describes our Lord as "One like a Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven" (Dan. 7:13).

The presence of God was positioned at the center of the Israelites' community life. In the Garden, it was God's intent for communion and our devotional life to be the center of all activities. His presence walked and talked with man and woman as they worked. And as they worked, they worshiped. This pattern now must be restored from generation to generation so that God's in- tent for the earth and mankind can continue.
May His presence be the center of everything you do: when you worship, work and celebrate. May a portal of His glory remain open above you. May He flow through you into a dark world around you.

Blow a trumpet and declare a new level of His presence is coming into your atmosphere.

Day 11 of 100 Days: "Thunder and Lightning" by Allen Faubion: Read Psalms 95, Hebrews 3
by Chuck Pierce on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 10:50am

This past week we celebrated Rosh Hashanah for two nights at the Global Spheres Center. This Feast begins with The Feast of Trumpets. This is the first year we have fully celebrated this Feast at the precise appointed time. On the eve of Rosh Hashanah (Sept. 28), we gathered in the Israel Prayer Garden to sound the trumpets. First we gathered at the threshing floor to releasing the sound and call for the One New Man to come forth among the people of God. Then shofars blew over each of the tribes of Israel planted throughout the garden. Finally, we through the gate into the field of the Gentiles to release a sound that would call to the nations. As we blew, a commuter train blew by, an airliner flew overhead, Canadian geese circled, and cars raced past on the freeway. The Lord has prepared the avenues of transportation on earth and in the air. Now He is releasing His call.

We gathered Thursday evening in the Tabernacle in the Global Spheres Center to worship and celebrate Rosh Hashanah. The worship was incredible. Horns blew. Several came forth to release the sound of their shofar shout. It was powerful. The worship team released a prophetic stream that was fresh and filled with the sound of the Feast of Trumpets. The Spirit had prepared me with a prophetic message titled "People of the Voice-Activating in Us the Sound that Pierces World Structures." As I began to release this message something strange and wonderful began to take place. First, I noticed a rumble overhead that sounded like thunder. Since the sound was a bit faint I continued with this message on the voice of God. Then it began to rain-no mistaking that sound overhead. Weathermen gave us a ten percent chance of scattered storms and now we were in a downpour. We began to declare the favor of God. Several opened the large overhead door in the Tabernacle and people began to dance in the rain. What a wonderful night.

Every time I delivered another part of the Word of the Lord the heavens violently rumbled overhead. You could feel the ground shake and see the lightning strike. It was a sign and wonder. Later the TV weatherman reported more than 300 lightning strikes in the DFW Metroplex. All on the Feast of Trumpets. This is the anointing we are now moving in as we become the People of His Voice.

Rosh Hashanah is the beginning of the climactic time of God's calendar. There is more to come. We are now in the Days of Awe leading to the Day of Atonement, the second stage in this climax. Psalm 95 and Hebrews 3 speak to this time. "Today if you hear my voice, do not harden your hearts…. See to it that none of you has a sinful unbelieving heart"
Now that we have fully met with God and He has released his voice over us (Rosh Hashanah) it is time for us to watch ("See to it") over our hearts to remove unbelief. Unbelief is not a matter or doctrine or principles. Unbelief is driven by fear and superstition and takes hold when we listen to its voice rather than God's voice. God's voice breaks the hold of unbelief and His word cuts out its cancerous roots. On Rosh Hashanah we released three shofar sounds that are important for this week. You can listen or download them to your own device. Three Horns-This is the sound of the three climactic feasts, Rosh Hashanah, Day of Atonement, and Tabernacles. It is the sound of Father, Son, and Spirit. It is the sound of Recovery, Restoration, and Prosperity.

Day 12 of 100 Days: "The Importance of Correction" Read Jer. 29:11, Is. 44:22, Lev. 23:26-32
by Chuck Pierce on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 10:07am
Robert Heidler wrote the following for Day 12.

Starting last night, we entered into Yom Kippur. This is just awesome. Look up to the Lord and ask Him to reveal any course corrections for you in the Earth. Keep connecting Heaven and Earth. Here is "The Importance of Course Correction!". Read Jeremiah 29:11
It's easy to get "a little" off course and not notice it. One degree is tiny, just a 360'th of a circle. If you're one degree off course, you'd probably think nothing of it. But if you're flying across the Pacific Ocean, you'll miss your destination by 200 miles, and that could be a disaster. That's how our lives are. It's easy to get "one degree" off course. Your fellowship with God is not lost overnight. Your marriage or business will not fail overnight. But if you stay one degree off-course you'll end up in a mess!

What's the solution? The solution is to make course corrections! We need to stop from time to time and examine our course. A small correction now can get us back on course and avoid disaster. But God! He built a yearly "course correction" into the biblical calendar. Once a year He set a time to examine your life, see where you're off course, and get back on track. God loves you so much He doesn't want you to fail. He wants you to stay on track and arrive at the fullness of your destiny.

That's where we are right now in God's calendar. This week we've been in the "Days of Awe" ...a time to seek God and let Him reveal any ways your life is off course. Then on the Day of Atonement, (Friday night and Saturday through sundown) it's time to get with God and make your course corrections. If He's shown you any sins, confess them and receive forgiveness. If the fire has burned low, allow the Holy Spirit to re-ignite your life. So don't miss your appointment with God this week. Be fully restored to Him and let Him direct the path to your future! In Isa 44:22 God promises, "I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you."

(From Israel!)
This Friday evening (October 7th) at sundown began Yom Kippur-the Day of Atonement. At that time, the entire public Jewish sector of Israel essentially closes down. Leviticus 23:26-32 solemnly commands the Hebrew people to deny themselves and to abstain from work on this day, with dire consequences if they don't. Except for the occasional Arab driver or an emergency vehicle, the streets will be free of traffic; in fact, later in the evening and on Saturday morning many streets will be filled with strolling couples and children on bicycles and skateboards. Millions of Jews will humble themselves by fasting for 25 hours from both food and water. Kippur or kippurim may be translated 'ransom by means of a substitute'…also included within the meaning is 'that which covers'. On this day in Biblical times a goat was slain as a sin offering, its blood taken by the High Priest into the veil of the Holy of Holies and sprinkled on and before the Mercy Seat (Hebrew: kaporet); a second goat, with the sins of the nation confessed over it, was led far into the Judean desert and released. It was considered 'damned' (today in Israel a common curse expletive is the Hebrew for "scapegoat")…"Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness." Yet with the destruction of the Second Temple, blood sacrifice in Judaism came to an end. On Yom Kippur all religious Jews and many non-religious will spend the day in the Synagogues, confessing their sins and seeking forgiveness and a "Good Signature" in the Book of Life for the coming year. Yet something is missing. A question which Rabbinic Judaism has never been able satisfactorily to answer is, "But, where is the blood?" … Each year during the days immediately preceding Yom Kippur an area in Jerusalem's large open-air market may be found reserved for stacks and stacks of coops bearing live chickens. Here one may pay an ultra-Orthodox man to be allowed to swing a chicken over one's head while reciting the following,

"This is my substitute, this is my commutation; this chicken goes to death; but may I be gathered and enter into a long and happy life and into shalom." The bird is then slain and its body given to the poor for food. We do not hold in contempt those who blindly seek cleansing through this practice; yet this, no more than in ancient times, "can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually year by year, make perfect those who draw near."
Stop! Ask the Lord to correct your course. Ask forgiveness and receive grace. Allow His blood to cleanse your conscience. Be free to enter the season ahead on a corrected path! Let me suggest you read the book, Redeeming the Time! That is Yom Kippur!

Prophecy from Keith …
"Truly today is a day that Holy Spirit is entering this place in a surprise manner. Today is a day that the wind is blowing in a new way. Today is a day that I have come forth to bring unity in this Body, and there will be a new level of unity that breaks the stronghold of the enemy. Yes, there are pills and yes there are bills, but my God is a god that brings forth a release. And today is the day as unity arises release occurs. Yes, you will see your pots filled, see your vats overflow, and you will see your storehouse be made full. But when My people come together as one I will cast down the uncircumcised philistine, and I will birth a new order for a new day. So release the wind and you will see a change in the Garden."

Last night Kalli Forest had a game, and the school was struck by lightning and all the alarms went off. They took all the men and put us in the men's locker room and the women in the women's locker room since there was a tornado warning. Remember the word that was released at Head of the Year about lightning strikes and the day of containment.

Day 13 of 100 Days: "Baal-Perazim: A Place of Breakthrough" Read: 2 Cor. 2:14, Mic. 2:12-13, 1 Samuel 3:1, 1 Chron. 14:11
by Chuck Pierce on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at 8:43am

The enemy attempts to set barriers so we cannot break through into the fullness God has for us. We can see a principle here that when that barrier in the mid-heavens is breached, things are able to be released on earth: revelation, prophetic words, gifts and all the things God desires to pour upon His church. Paul writes, "But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place" (2 Cor. 2:14, NASB).

God wants to lead us in breaking through this barrier our enemy has set against us. This word "triumph" is from the Greek word thriambeuo (three-am-byoo'-o), which denotes a grand triumphal entry. God wants to lead us in a grand triumphal procession through that corridor of demonic resistance.
I will surely assemble all of you, Jacob, I will surely gather the remnant of Israel. I will put them together like sheep in the fold; like a flock in the midst of its pasture. They will be noisy with men. The breaker goes up before them; they break out, pass through the gate and go out by it. So their king goes on before them, and the LORD at their head (Mic. 2:12-13, NASB).

Micah describes the Lord as "the Breaker," who will break us through the gates of resistance. The word "breaker" here is the Hebrew word parats (paw-rats), which is interestingly used in the book of Samuel. Barbara Yoder explains this in her book The Breaker Anointing:

In 1 Samuel 3:1 there is an example of breaking though. This passage is about the transition from an old system to a new one. Because of compromise on Eli's part, revelation was shut up. The second part of verse 1 says: "And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision" (KJV). The New King James says, "there was no widespread revelation." The Hebrew word for open or widespread is parats, the same word for break out. The implication is that something has to be broken through for revelation to be released. But here in 1 Samuel, there was no breakthrough revelation. There was no rev- elation that was breaking them out of where they were. They were stuck.

God wants to lead us in breaking through where there is no revelation, no prophecy, no gifts flowing, when we are stuck. Yoder gives an account of a worship service that experienced this breakthrough:

While the musicians were playing after I spoke, I had a vision. In the vision I saw a glass ceiling. The people beneath the ceiling could see through the glass to where they need to go, [but] they were unable to penetrate the ceiling. They had vision because they could see where they were sup- posed to head. However the glass represented a wall that had been raised up against them to keep them from moving into God's place for them. Suddenly the glass began to shatter and I could see and hear the pieces of glass "chink" as they hit the floor. The glass ceiling was shattering. That was a spiritual vision, a picture of what God was doing right then. As the vision came to an end, one of the singers began breaking forth into a new song that had never been sung before. As the song rang out, a great spirit of revelation began to break out on those that were at the meeting. That which had been obstructing their forward progress was removed.

David understood this breakthrough from a military perspective. When an enemy has you hemmed in, held back and confined, you must press against that force in such a manner that will break its hold. David knew God as the Breaker, Baal-Perazim (the Lord of breakthrough) in 1 Chronicles. "David said, 'God has broken through my enemies by my hand, like the breakthrough of waters.' Therefore they named that place Baal-Perazim" (1 Chron. 14:11, NASB). David also understood breakthrough in the heavens. He assailed the heavens with praise and proclamations and taught his worship leaders to do the same. To break through the evil powers that hinder us in the heavens, we must seek the Lord for strategy. May the Breaker Anointing lead you forth into the place of victory that God has for you!

Day 14 of 100 Days: "Preparing For War" Read: Is. 40
by Chuck Pierce on Monday, October 10, 2011 at 10:44am

We must keep praying and prophesying. Life is full of transition. We are always journeying from one stage to another-from childhood to adolescence, from singleness to marriage, from in- experience to expertise. Each transition presents the opportunity for preparation.
When you prepare something, you get it ready, put it together or frame it. The word can also mean to get ready for action, to gird, to brace, to fortify or to strengthen. God strongly believes in preparation. Throughout the Bible, we find Him urging His children to be a people prepared for what He has called them to do. It is no different now. We are currently in a time when preparation is essential. Wars will never be won by those caught off guard. The more we are prepared for the enemies of our time, the more effective we will be in our battles to further God's kingdom.

I believe there are 10 ways we can prepare for war during this season:
1. Know why we are at war.
2. Know who our enemy is and how he operates.
3. Know who we are and how God is preparing us for this future war.
4. Have a strategy for victory.
5. Think prophetically and worship violently!
6. Stay alert to activity and anything unusual around us.
7. Keep our spirits alive and active so that we discern properly.
8. Know how to get in touch with each other immediately.
9. Learn to understand each other's ways and methods of communication.
10. Avoid letting petty issues distract us-they may be the work of religious spirits.

Day 15 of 100 Days: "Be Encouraged" Read 2 Corinthians 10, Meditate on 1 Peter 2, Memorize 1 Timothy 1:18, Luke 11:22, Romans 12
by Chuck Pierce on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 9:37am

We are moving from victory to victory. We are receiving new strength to blossom forth in the days ahead. We will overrun our enemies and all the strategies that are being developed to over- come and entrap us.

Luke 11:22 says, "But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils." We will conquer, overcome, prevail and get the victory when challenged by the forces of the world that would conform and control us. We will take our fields and bind the enemy from operating, and hold the spoils for Kingdom advancement. Romans 12:21 will be our motto: "Do not be over- come by evil, but overcome evil with good."

Clothe yourself with His glory! Remove the garment from your last season. Put on your future. Our latter end will be greater than our former!
Day 16 of 100 Days: "The Heavens Open" Read: Ephesians 1:3-6
by Chuck Pierce on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 1:24pm

I am disciplined in my pursuit for God. I try to have consistent time in the Word and worship. When I was working in downtown Houston, some days I would ride the bus to and from my home in the northern part of the city. I had gotten up one morning and worshiped from 5 A.M. to 6 A.M. and was overwhelmed by the presence of God. I then got ready and caught the bus at 7 A.M. On the way to work, I began to read the book of Ephesians. I had just started when I got to Ephesians 1:3-6:

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him be- fore the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
I began to praise and thank the Lord for choosing me before the foundation of earth. The heavens opened. I could see all the future blessings that God had for me. I could also see the blessings that were there for the generations before me that were never taken and the blessings that the Lord had for my children to come. Suddenly the Lord began to pour faith into my spirit-it was as if a funnel extended from heaven right into the bus.

I could not contain myself, so I shouted, "Hallelujah!" Those people around me looked startled. I thought to myself, Surely they can see and feel what I see and feel. I said, "Lord, I am so filled with faith, I do not know what to do." He said to me, "Give it away to one of those sitting around you." I asked a lady who was sitting in front of me if she had a need and if I could pray for her. She began to share her problems. I knew then what it meant to pray the prayer of faith.

Day 17 of 100 Days: "Life More Abundantly" Read: John 10:10
by Chuck Pierce on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 9:26am

Excess: the state or an instance of surpassing usual, proper, or specified limits. Let us open the door of "Excess" today as we move into Abundance like never before!
Chuck D. Pierce

What is it, then, that God is longing to restore to us? Simply put, He wants to restore life-the life that He destined for us. His primary method of restoration is through the redemptive work of Jesus. In order for us to have an adequate understanding of what life in Jesus means, let's take a look at a familiar passage. In John 10:10 Jesus says, "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." This verse is full of tremendous promises and certainly bears the need for a closer look.

First, this passage promises "that they might have." The "they" referred to in this passage becomes clear as we read the context. Jesus is speaking of Himself as the Good Shepherd and "they" are the sheep of His pasture. This passage, therefore, is written to include every one of us who are His sheep. If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior and follow Him as your Lord, the promises of this passage are for you. "Might have" is a key phrase to the concept of possession. From the Greek word echo, "might have" includes the idea of having or holding in one's hand, or in the sense of wearing as a piece of clothing. Included in the meaning is to own or possess external things such as property or riches; to be joined by the bonds of natural blood, marriage, friendship, duty or law; to lay hold of a thing, to adhere or cling to; to be closely joined to a person or thing. The life that Jesus promises to bring is meant to be our possession-so much a part of us that it is bound to us and we to it.

So, what exactly is life? Physically, life is the property in animals, plants and humans, that makes it possible for them to obtain supply which will produce energy, create growth, adapt themselves to their surroundings and reproduce their kind. Though this may be a strict definition of life, Jesus is talking about much more than simply having existence and reproducing. The Greek word zoe is what has been translated in this passage as life. Zoe means to be possessed of vitality; to have life active and vigorous; to be devoted to God; to be blessed; to be among the living (not lifeless, not dead); to enjoy real life, true life worthy of the name; to pass life on to others; to be fresh, strong, efficient, active, powerful; to be endless in the kingdom of God. From this definition Jesus is clearly referring to physical life and spiritual life rich in quality and quantity, since this word also denotes eternal life in the kingdom of God.

But Jesus does not stop there. Not only are we to enjoy such a quality of life and a future hope of eternity, we are also to have it "more abundantly." Perissos, the Greek word for abundantly, means excessive, overflowing, surplus, over and above, more than enough, profuse, extraordinary, more than sufficient, superior, more remarkable, more excellent.
In summary, God's intentions for us are truly amazing. He longs to take us from a place of judgment, desolation and fruitlessness to a place of abundant restoration and increase of life!

Day 18 of 100 Days: "Ascend! Let's Go Up!" Read Amos 9
by Chuck Pierce on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 12:18pm

Access: The ability or right to approach, enter, exit, communicate with, or make use of.
We have access to the most holy place. Let us open the door of access today and "ascend" to His throne like never before! Here is a link to one of our songs that go with today's focus. Kingdom Come
Chuck D. Pierce

To ascend is to arise, climb, come up, get up, grow, increase, leap, light up, be raised, recover and restore. This comes from the Hebrew word alah. That is not the same word as the name of the Muslim god, Allah; rather, it is what Elohim, Adonai, Jehovah, Jesus-the one true God-calls upon us to do. I find it interesting that God instructs His people to alah and worship. We are to boldly rise up, ascend, come into the Throne Room and worship Him. When we follow this sequence, God's strategy of restoration is revealed to us.

One key biblical passage is Amos 9. This chapter is about the restoration of David's Tabernacle. The Lord GOD of hosts, He who touches the earth and it melts, and all who dwell there mourn; all of it shall swell like the River, and subside like the River of Egypt. He who builds His layers in the sky, and has founded His strata in the earth; who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out on the face of the earth-the LORD is His name (vv. 5-6).

We often overlook these verses, yet they are vital for us to under- stand. As we worship, we go up. The "layers" are like steps and stairs or upper chambers through the heavenlies that the Lord Jesus Christ has paved. It is a path that leads to the Throne Room. These layers are like vaults that have keys. Jesus gives us the keys to unlock each vault as we ascend and draw near to Him in worship. Imagine each vault filled with treasure. Then we finally gain access to the Throne Room. These "layers in the sky" are also connected with the Lord's "strata in the earth." So as we ascend in worship and come into the Throne Room, earth's strata begin to unlock. This planet we call home changes and receives the glory of God.

DAY 19 OF 100 DAYS: "GO UP AND BREAK THROUGH" READ: MICAH 2
by Chuck Pierce on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 1:35pm

Breakthrough: An act of overcoming or penetrating an obstacle or restriction.
We must breakthrough to the next level! As we open the door of "breakthrough" today, decree that every area of your life is breaking through into prosperity!
Chuck D. Pierce

The Breaker [the Messiah] will go up before them. They will break through, pass in through the gate and go out through it, and their King will pass on before them, the Lord at their head.
-Micah 2:13, amp

The breaker anointing is the anointing that is received when we understand that the Anointed One, the Messiah, has gone before us and broken the headship of our enemy. Those with the breaker anointing are those who walk in the ministry of a forerunner.

The breaker anointing will break fear away from you as you move into the future. To have an overcoming spirit, you must come to a place of intimacy and deep communion with God. This causes what God is trying to birth on the earth to be conceived deep within you. Overcoming Christians understand travail. Once something has been conceived in them, they know they must travail until it has been birthed. This is not a time of fear but rather a time of overcoming and birthing. A person with an overcoming spirit produces breakthrough. God is releasing an overcoming anointing for spiritual breakthrough.

In "The Breaker Anointing", Barbara Yoder writes that the breaker anointing "affects individuals, churches and cities. When the breaker anointing comes into an area, it results in changes not only in individuals, churches and the sociopolitical structure and belief systems of the city.?.?.?.?To accomplish this mission [of transformation], this breed of radical shakers and movers needs a new anointing: an anointing that will break through every obstacle to further the spread of the gospel and to bring about the salvation of individuals and territories to the uttermost.?.?.?.?The breaker anointing is the anointing that breaks us through every kairos (opportune) challenge."

The future is a fuel that greatly propels human fear. Not knowing what will happen can produce paralyzing effects in those prone to such fear. On the other hand, the future is also linked with expectations, anticipation, or hope for an occurrence, like the birth of a child. These expectations can cause us to have a passion, joy, strength, and faith in what God will do.

Day 20 of 100 Days: "Restore Joy" Read: Ps. 51:12, Prov. 17:22, Neh. 8:10, Ps. 51
by Chuck Pierce on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 11:28am

We have focused on Excess, Access and Breakthrough the past three days. We must understand that the key to moving into these three phases is our "Joy"! As we open the door of "Joy" today, ask the Lord to restore to you the "Joy" of His salvation! I will minister on this today. You may want to get this message for your archive and reference. Link for this message will be available in the webstore tomorrow.
Chuck D. Pierce

"Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit" (Ps. 51:12). Our enemy longs to rob us of our joy and get us out of the salvation process we discussed earlier in this chapter. That does not mean that he can steal our salvation by rob- bing our joy, but he can steer us away from the forgiveness, healing, prosperity and restoration that are by-products of our salvation. His strategy many times is the same one he used on King David: he causes us to sin. Nothing will rob us of the joy of the Lord as effectively as sin in our lives.
But these are days in which God is longing to restore joy to His people through deeper levels of repentance. In repairing the breaches that sin has caused, God is able to restore joy. Proverbs 17:22 says, "A merry heart does good, like medicine." Joy works like a medicine and brings healing to our bones. That is why Scripture says that the joy of the Lord is our strength (see Neh. 8:10); it brings with it the power to heal and maintain the health God has for us.

Even though David sinned and lost his joy, we see from Psalm 51 that he was able to ask the Lord to restore that joy to him. Through the blood of Christ, we are positioned with even greater favor than King David had to ask the Lord to forgive our transgressions and restore the joy of our salvation

Day 21 of 100 Days: From "Celebration to Jubilation" Read: 1 Sam 30, 2 Sam 6
by Chuck Pierce on Monday, October 17, 2011 at 1:02pm

We are in the Joy of the Lord Right? Now let us open the door of "Celebration" as we move into "Jubilation"! Here is a link to one of our songs that go with today's focus! Chuck D. Pierce

The next step for the body of Christ is to go from praise to celebration to jubilation. What does this mean? Haven't we done enough by praising? Haven't we connected with God, changed the atmosphere, and determined the perspective? If we have done these things, then we have done a lot, but there is one more step that we must take-the coup de grâce. This phrase means "the blow of mercy" in French and is used to describe "a death blow intended to end the suffering of a wounded creature. It is often used figuratively to describe the last of a series of events that brings about the end of some entity."

That entity for us is the devil's kingdom and his power over us. Our praise is awesome and powerful, but when we take that up a notch to celebration and then to jubilation, our sound becomes a deathblow to the enemy's plans for us. I love the words celebration and jubilation. In the Bible, celebrate is from the Hebrew word hagag, which denotes a wild action like the behavior of a drunken person, used in the context of rejoicing. You know how we get sometimes when we've just won the big game-we shout, scream, jump up and down, and hug everyone (while jumping up and down). Someone could easily think we are drunk, except no one is watching each other-we are all caught up in the spirit of celebration and victory. The emotion of the moment has overtaken the atmosphere. The rapturous spirit has overcome the environment.

The word hagag was used to depict the dancing and rejoicing that was done when there was a victory over the enemy in battle, as in 1 Samuel 30:16 (niv) when David came upon the Amalekites who had plundered his city of Ziklag: "There they were, scattered over the countryside, eating, drinking and reveling because of the great amount of plunder they had taken" (emphasis added). The word reveling in this passage is the Hebrew word hagag. The Amalekites were celebrating their victory. Their actions were wild and appeared hedonistic. We will discuss situations like this in a later chapter. This was how David made it through every narrow transition.

When David was rebuked by his wife Michal for his dancing and celebration in the streets before the ark, David told his wife, "You ain't seen nothing yet!" (2 Sam. 6:22, author's paraphrase). This must be our attitude, because invariably there will be those who want us to tone down our celebration before the Lord to show respect for a religious kingdom that is in place. However, we must remember that the kingdom of God is ever changing. Every time glory comes into our worship in a new way, the manner in which we demonstrate and administrate the power of God changes.

Day 22 of 100 Days: "Jubilation"
by Chuck Pierce on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 12:03pm

We are learning how to move and operate as the Triumphant Reserve. I believe the more we understand about living in Jubilation, the more Triumphant we will be! Let us open the door of Jubilation today and experience success and victory like never before!
Chuck D. Pierce

Jubilation, while similar in meaning to celebration, is the act of rejoicing, being filled, and expressing great joy. Here is what I consider a key part of the definition: "?.?.?.?especially because of triumph or success." Just like celebration, jubilation depends on the aspect of triumph. When our favorite team or person wins, our most familiar dynamic of triumph is that we not only praise, but also revel in our triumph, dancing and shouting like we just won the Super Bowl. In God there is no defeat or failing, only triumph. We must be the same about the victories of the Spirit of God in our lives. Because of religious spirits, jubilation is the least expressed emotion of Christians.

We are entering a season in which we are to possess the promises that have been given us. Time produces champions. To triumph means to celebrate and rejoice with victory and jubilation. Triumph indicates that an advantage has been gained over the enemy. Success has been granted through a supernatural grace that has been released. Think of the time when David triumphantly brought in the Ark of the Covenant. The jubilation was incredible. David danced! He lost himself in worship because the Lord had returned the Ark of His Presence to the place of victory.

Day 23 of 100 Days: Breakthrough: "Confronting the Enemy" Read: Acts 19
by Chuck Pierce on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 3:39pm

In 1983 Pam was diagnose as barren with no possibility of conceiving. I stayed up late that night to pray to the Lord and He said to me, "You can turn the enemy into his own fire" I knew that He was saying that the enemy's plan of destruction could be turned back on him. I was awakened about an hour later by a visible evil presence standing next to my bed. I said: "In the name of Jesus, who are you?" This presence identified itself as Ashtoreth. It appeared to look like a woman, but had a man's voice. The voice from the presence then said: "I have come to take your children". I commanded it to leave in the name of Jesus and by His blood. By this time, Pam was awake. She could also perceive the evil in the room. I would like to focus more on breakthrough the next few days. I feel this is important.
Chuck D. Pierce

The enemy comes to us and reveals himself to tempt us to leave the purpose of God. He also will attempt to produce such fear in us that we stop seeking the Lord for our promises. Do not be afraid to confront any enemy that comes on your territory. You should study to show thyself approved. As I studied Ashtoreth, I found this was a goddess linked with fertility. In many of our books, I write about generational iniquity. Our families were so steeped with many iniquitous patterns,

One of our greatest assignments at Global Spheres Ministries has been to confront the Queen of Heaven so her captives can go free. Wisdom confronts. I now understand a greater picture of why this force would address me. Ashtoreth is linked with Queen of Heaven worship. This goddess would adapt its form/name from culture to culture, always seeking to solicit the worship any who would revere her. "Artemis (Diana) was a protectress of youth, especially those of her own sex. Young girls revered the virgin goddess as the guardian of their maiden years and before marriage offered her a lock of their hair, their girdle, and their maiden garment. She was supposed to assist at childbirth. In early times human sacrifices had been offered to Artemis. A relic of this was the yearly custom, observed at Sparta, of flogging the boys till they bled at the altar of a deity known as Artemis Orthia. 'Artemis of the Ephesians' was not a Greek divinity, but Asiatic. This is shown by the fact that eunuchs were employed in her worship - a practice quite foreign to Greek ideas. She was not regarded as a virgin but as mother and foster-mother, as is clearly shown by the multitude of breasts in the rude effigy. She was undoubtedly a representative of the same power presiding over conception and birth that was adored in Palestine under the name Ashtoreth. Her worship, frantic and fanatical after the manner of Asia, was traced back to the Amazons. Her temple at Ephesus was one of the wonders of the world, but its great glory was the 'image, which fell down from heaven' (Acts 19:35). Images claiming so lofty an origin were to be found in cities other than Ephesus. Once in the year there was a public festival in honor of the goddess at Ephesus, to which all the Ionians who could do so came with their wives and children, bringing costly offerings to Artemis and rich presents for the priests. Great gain came to the silversmiths in making and selling small images of the goddess.

Day 24 of 100 Days: Breakthrough: "The Prayer of Confrontation" Read: Col. 2, Eph. 1
by Chuck Pierce on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 10:54am

In today's focus, understand that confrontation is very important. We must not fear this as a triumphant people! As we open today's door, ask the Lord to remove all fear of confrontation.
Chuck D. Pierce

Once we have received strategic revelation from the Lord, we must then obey Him in what He is asking us to do, which includes warfare. There are times when God calls us to confront the powers of darkness at different levels. To confront is to face in hostility or defiance, or to come with opposition. The prayer of confrontation directly addresses a structure that has been set in place in opposition to God's will. The prayer of confrontation has become known in missiological terms as a "power encounter." C. Peter Wagner defines a power encounter as, "a visible, practical demonstration that Jesus Christ is more powerful than the spirits, powers or false gods worshiped or feared by the members of a given people group."

This type of prayer not only outwits the devil, but humiliates him and his level of power in the process. When Jesus was crucified, we saw a clear example of how this works. Referring to that terrible, yet awesome day, Colossians 2:15 says, "Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it." God allows us to enter into this type of power encounter to show His power over territorial spirits to which a particular group of people has been in bondage. As God displays that His power is greater than that of a demonic structure, that structure begins to crumble and those who were held captive by fear are then free to follow Christ. In his book, Confronting the Queen of Heaven, C. Peter Wagner writes this great exhortation on confrontation:
"What level of spiritual warfare does Paul have in mind as he writes to the Ephesians? He says that Jesus is on the right hand of God and 'far above all principality and power and might and dominion' (Eph. 1:21). Undoubtedly, Diana of the Ephesians and the daily sacrifices in her ornate temple are in Paul's mind. Jesus is superior to Diana and to all similar territorial spirits, no matter how long they have ruled people groups or cities. The armies of God are being called forth to enforce the rightful rule of the King of kings and Lord of lords on the highest spiritual levels!"

Day 25 of 100 Days: Breakthrough: "Spiritual Warfare" Read: Eph. 2, 3, 6, Rev. 2
by Chuck Pierce on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 11:31am

I want us to have a clear understanding about spiritual warfare. It's a big part of breakthrough. In today's focus Dr. Peter Wagner gives us three keys about spiritual warfare in his book "Confronting the Queen of Heaven". As we open the door of warfare today, know that as we ascend there is warfare in the heavens.
Chuck D. Pierce

There are at least three very important things that the head [Jesus] is telling the body about spiritual warfare:

1. Stand against the wiles of the devil. Paul tells the Ephesians to put on the whole armor of God 'that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil' (Eph. 6:13). This is not a benign command. It is not something which is easy to do. The reason for this is that the devil is an awesome being. Paul, in the same epistle, calls him 'the prince of the power of the air' (Eph. 2:2). It is hard for me to understand why some Christian leaders insist on trivializing Satan's power. Referring to him as a wimp or as a toothless lion only serves to embolden people to think they can get away with attacking the devil with a fly swatter.
I suspect that by saying things like this, some well-intentioned believers are comparing the power of the devil to the power of God, and it is true that there is no contest between the two of them. But this is not the scenario at hand. We are not spectators watching a fight between God and demons. We are the ones whom God has designated to stand against the wiles of the devil. The head tells the body to do it, and, clearly, the head is not going to do it for us.

2. Engage in proactive spiritual warfare. In the letter to Ephesus Jesus says, 'To him who overcomes, I will give to eat from the tree of life which is in the midst of the Paradise of God' (Rev. 2:7). The word 'overcome,' which Jesus repeats seven times, is nikao in the original Greek. It is a military word meaning 'to conquer, in secular Greek, but, according to The New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology: 'In the New Testament [nikao] almost always presupposes the conflict between God and opposing demonic powers' (Vol. 1, p. 650). In other words, it means to do spiritual warfare.

3. Declare God's wisdom to the principalities. Paul expresses to the Ephesians his burning desire that 'the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places' (Eph. 3:10). This is another one of the commands from the head of the body, and it explicitly says that the church should make this declaration to the powers in the invisible world. There are many interpretations as to what exactly this might mean, but one of them would be that we declare the gospel of the Kingdom of God.

The church, by deed and also by word, should remind the territorial spirits over places like Ephesus that the kingdom of God has invaded the kingdom of darkness beginning with the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. And that the god of this age will no longer blind the minds of unbelievers to the glorious gospel of Christ in Ephesus, Turkey, Japan, Nepal, Calcutta, or in any other place. This kind of a declaration of war will predictably spark negative reactions and counterattacks from the forces of evil and the spiritual battle will be engaged.

One of the major apostles of the extraordinary Argentine Revival, now in its seventeenth year, is evangelist Carlos Annacondia. In virtually every one of his meetings, he literally declares the wisdom of God to the devil and to any spiritual principalities that might be in the vicinity. Many times I have heard him do this in a very loud voice and with powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit. The title of his excellent book is: Listen to Me, Satan! (Creation House). When this war cry goes forth, night after night, things begin to happen. Demons manifest and are summarily dispatched, sick people are healed miraculously, and sinners literally run to the platform to get saved. More than two million have been born again in his campaigns so far."

Of course, Peter Wagner is talking about strategic-level power encounters with demonic structures dealing with whole people groups or territories. There are examples of this throughout the Old and New Testaments involving people such as Moses, David, Elijah, Jesus, and Paul. God's heart remains the same today. We need to enter into a mentality that God will display His power greatly over the earth and over demonic structures in order to see great throngs loosed from Satan's grip, and from that mentality, pray the prayers of confrontation according to His will. There are times when God will also call us into confrontation-type warfare over demonic structures on a personal or family level as well, in which case, the same three points that we quoted above also apply.

Day 26 of 100 Days: Breakthrough: "Moses' Great Confrontation" Read Ex. 8, 9 and 10
by Chuck Pierce on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 10:54am

A wonderful biblical example of this type of prayer was Moses' confrontation with Pharaoh. As Moses confronted Pharaoh and declared God's will, he actually confronted Egyptian gods linked with the oppression and captivity of God's covenant people by creating utter chaos through the plagues and death in the nation of Egypt. But through the destruction caused by Moses' confrontation, God's plan was fulfilled, the power of oppression broke, and the people were released. Today as we continue our understanding of breakthrough, ask the Lord to remove oppression and release His full covenant blessing into your bloodline.
Chuck D. Pierce

Let's take a look at how every demonstration of God's power through Moses was actually a power encounter with specific Egyptian gods (which were in reality territorial spirits):

The rod becomes a serpent. There were two main Egyptian gods that were linked with serpents. They were Apep, the Egyptian snake god who was the personification of darkness and evil, and Edjo, the serpent goddess of the Delta who was the protectress of Lower Egypt, and who was symbolized on the royal diadem (or king's crown) protecting the king. When Aaron's rod became a serpent and swallowed the magicians' serpents, there was an undeniable display of which was stronger.

The Nile turns to blood. In this first plague, God demonstrated His power over Khnum, the ram god who was supposed to be the protector of the source of the Nile and was depicted as a man with a ram's head; and over Hapy, god of the Nile in inundation. Although the Egyptian magicians were able to imitate the phenomenon, they were unable to stop the effects of the plague, which included the fish dying and the water to become putrefied and undrinkable.
The plague of frogs. The second plague was directed against Heqet, who was the goddess of creation, birth, and the germination of corn. Heqet was depicted as a frog, and the frog was considered a sacred animal in Egypt. Once again, the magicians were able to imitate the plague, but were unable to remove it as Pharaoh had to summon Moses and Aaron to put a stop to it.

The plague of gnats. This third plague came against Geb, who was the Egyptian earth god that played a role in fertility and vegetation. Geb was also supposed to imprison the souls of the dead, and his laughter was said to cause earthquakes. The magicians were unable to reproduce the sign and conceded, "This is the finger of God" (Ex. 8:19).

The plague of flies. This plague was set against Dua, the Egyptian god of toiletry. More numerous and bothersome were these flies than even the gnats had been, as they would attach themselves to human eyelids. The magicians were once again unable to match the demonstration of power. Through this forth plague it became clear that God was the author of the plagues and had authority in Egypt over the magicians and the gods they served.

The cattle die. Hathor, the Egyptian cow goddess, was next in line for God's wrath and humiliation in the fifth plague. She was the suckler of the king, and the goddess of love, fertility, and women. She was also said to cleanse the land of unbelievers. This plague, however, was intended to be seen as a judgment from God and a direct insult to the spiritual principalities as calves, cows, and bulls were all worshiped and considered sacred.
The plague of boils. The sixth plague came against Imhotep, venerated as the god of learning and medicine. The magicians appeared to try and protect the king, probably through Imhotep's power, but were instead being attacked themselves.

The plague of hail and fire. The seventh plague challenged Horus the Elder, the powerful falcon-deity, originally the sky-god, who identified with the king during his lifetime. This was the first plague that apparently caused human death-enough so that Pharaoh even admitted that he had sinned (Ex. 9:27) and begged for the plague to be stopped.

The plague of the locusts. The eighth plague targeted Shu, god of the air, atmosphere, and dry winds. It was by an east wind that lasted for a day and a night that the Lord ushered in swarms of locusts that "covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they ate every herb of the land and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left. So there remained nothing green on the trees or on the plants of the field throughout all the land of Egypt" (Ex. 10:15).
The plague of darkness. The ninth plague showed God's power over the light of the sun, which was represented by one of Egypt's chief deities, the sun-god Ra. Ra was the father of the gods, head of the great ennead (a group of the nine most powerful deities), and supreme judge. This plague dealt a heavy blow to the spirit world because the very powerful spirit Ra was unable to overcome God's power.

The slaying of the first-born. This tenth and most devastating plague was directed against a family of three deities. The first was Isis who was the most important of all Egyptian goddesses and who assumed all the attributes and functions of virtually every other important goddess at some point in Egyptian history. Her primary functions were motherhood, marital devotion, healing the sick, and the working of magic spells and charms. The second deity was Osiris, the god of the dead, resurrection into eternal life, and the ruler, protector, and judge of the deceased. The third deity was said to be the son of Isis and Osiris, Horus the Child, a suckling child represented as a young boy sucking his finger. It was this final plague that so overwhelmed the Pharaoh and so thoroughly defeated the gods of Egypt, that the Israelites were finally set free.

Seeing power encounters through the prayer of confrontation in order to see people groups released from a demonic structure is going to become more and more common as we enter the future war of the Church. God's power has not diminished in the years since Moses! We need to enter into a mentality that God will display His power greatly over the earth and over demonic structures in order to see great throngs loosed from Satan's grip, and from that mentality, pray the prayers of confrontation according to His will.

Day 27 of 100 Days: Breakthrough: "The Breaker" Read: Micah 2 Is. 45, 52, 58 Neh. 8
by Chuck Pierce on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at 9:41am

One of the names and characteristics of God is "the Breaker." Micah 2:13 in the Amplified Version says, "The Breaker [the Messiah] will go before them. They will breakthrough, pass in through the gate and go out through it, and their King will pass on before them, the Lord at their head." The Lord is ready to establish Himself at the gates of our lives, families, churches, cities, and nation. But we can't truly experience breakthrough without first understanding Jesus as the Breaker. Barbara Yoder does a great job of explaining this in her book, The Breaker Anointing. At one point she says, "The term 'breaker' is foreign to most Christians. Barnes' Notes says that the 'Breaker-Through' was one of the titles given to Christ. The image here in Micah is one both of conquering and deliverance. Something has to be broken through. Something has to be overcome. Breakthrough is something that we cannot do by ourselves. It requires divine intervention. God has given apostolic people territories to take and adversity to overcome which they cannot do by themselves. We need God to break through for us. In the same way God led Moses and broke open the way in those days is how He is leading the church today."
Chuck D. Pierce

Some of the principles and coinciding results of breakthrough power are as follows:

1. Your light with break forth (Is. 58:8). Light dispels the darkness. Therefore, in order for our light to break through, we need to ask Him to remove any darkness within us. As our light breaks forth, we are able to break through into a new place. Two excellent principles for breaking out of darkness into light include fasting and giving. Ask the Lord if there is a particular fast He has called you to in order to break out of darkness. Also, if you are willing to give in places you have not been willing to give in before, you may be surprised at how the Lord will break open new avenues of supply.

2. Your healing will spring forth (Is. 58:8). The Lord is bringing the Body from grief to glory. Infirmities that have afflicted us for years will need to flee. Declare that hidden places of grief will be exposed in you so that you will be made whole. Like Hannah, we need to ask the Lord to look upon our afflictions and barrenness, and make us fruitful.

3. The new song will break forth (Is. 45:1). Many times when breakthrough occurred in the Word of God the people would sing and rejoice. Moses and Miriam sang when they crossed out of Egypt. Deborah sang when God defeated the Midianites. When you break through, rejoice in song and fill the air with praises to God.

4. A renewed joy will arise in your spirit. "Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength" (Neh. 8:10). This is a great account of how God's people came to an understanding of their covenant blessings. Nehemiah then told the people not to grieve over what they had missed, but break into joy instead. The moment you break through and understand the truth that has been hidden from you, allow a new joy and hope to arise.

5. New joy causes waste places to be rebuilt. The breaker anointing causes comfort to be loosed (Is. 52:9). That comfort restores what has been desolate and barren and causes places that have laid in ruins to be rebuilt. New strength will arise in your spirit. "Those that wait upon the Lord will mount up (breakthrough) . . .and renew their strength" (Is. 40:31. You will be able to gain strength you need to overcome the mountain in your path.
As we are looking at prayers that outwit the devil, we need to allow God to break through for us in a new way. It is time for the Lord to breakthrough, for the Church to breakout, and for the devil's strategies to breakup!

Day 28 of 100 Days: "Portals of Glory" Read: Gen. 28
by Chuck Pierce on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 2:55pm

We have opened 27 doors so far! The next few days, I want us to focus on opening new portals of glory. As we open the 28th door today, we say that his glory will fill us in a new way!
Chuck D. Pierce

Many of you are exhausted from all the strife, contention and trials that have been linked to the promise that you have been pursuing. Stop and rest! That's what Jacob did. "Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it" (Gen. 28:12). This was really a visitation from God.

In this visitation, God revealed to Jacob that He is the Lord of the past, the present and the future. This brought Jacob into a relationship with the Lord. This caused him to have faith that he could actually grab hold of the promise and blessing that had been spoken over him. This also gave him confidence that he could have a relationship with holy God just as his father and grandfather (Isaac and Abraham) had.

From this experience, Jacob began to worship God personally in the following ways:
1. He acknowledged the Lord had been in the place with him, even though before that point he could not see Him.
2. He memorialized the place, set up a stone and poured oil on it.
3. He renamed the place Bethel, the House of God.
4. He recognized God as provider.
5. He had a desire to give a portion of what he had back to the Lord.
6. The fear of God began to be a part of his life.
7. He declared that a "gate of heaven" had opened forever in that place. This would link his purpose on earth into eternity.

In Worship God! Ernest Gentile writes:
The sudden appearance of the heavenly ladders must have seemed to Jacob to be God's invitation to come up into His presence. The transcendent God created a direct way to meet with lowly man. With the ladder, God initiated worship. He made a way for men to come before God. Then, Jacob saw angels model the responsive action of a worshiper. The text speaks of the angels ascending first and then descending. Symbolically, the angels showed what must take place in people's lives if they are to be true, successful servants of the Lord. First, having "seen" the heavenly invitation, they ascend the shining staircase through their worship. Then, after being in the presence of God, they descend the ladder back to Earth to perform acts of service. First they go up to meet with God; then they can go down to the world with ministry of service. Another popular interpretation of this event makes the angels conveyers of God's blessing to man and of man's response to God. Angels do perform such work, but it stresses the text to overemphasize angels as intermediaries between God and men where this is only one mediator.

Day 29 of 100 Days: Gates: "An Opening for God's Presence on Earth" Read: Matt 16
by Chuck Pierce on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 11:34am

We are the key for God's presence to come into the earth. In order for God to use us effectively, we must understand the symbolism of "gates". As we open the 29th door, decree we are opening new gates and new pathways are forming.
Chuck D. Pierce

In The Gate Church, Pastor Frank Damazio shares the following on the significance of gates:
The gate in Scripture is a very powerful symbol and is used in connection with a powerful church. Jesus connected the two in Matthew 16:16-18. The word "gate" in the original language can be defined as a structure closing, or enclosure; a large opening through a wall or a barrier created so that people and things can pass to another area, a new area. A gate opens the way into something. It is a passage- way or a channel, an avenue. Gates, because of their function in the Old Testament cities, took on a symbolic meaning. Both the prophets and Christ Himself used this symbolism. The Bible describes four functions of city gates during Old Testament times:

1. A place that controlled access and provided strongly fortified protection (see Josh. 2:7; 7:5; Judg. 16:2,3; 18:16,17; 2 Kings 11:6; 14:13).

2. A place where legal or governmental leaders of the city sat to hand down judicial decisions (see Gen. 19:1; Deut. 25:7; 2 Sam. 19:8; Lam. 5:14).

3. A place where business and social functions occurred and where business contracts were made and witnessed (see Gen. 34:24; Ruth 4:1,11; 2 Sam. 15:2).

4. A place where prophetic messages were brought by the prophets and delivered to the elders of the city (see 1 Kings 22:10; 2 Chron. 18:9; Jer. 7:2; 17:19).
We will continue this study tomorrow. Know as we move forward that the Lord will use us to open gates of great importance.

Day 30 of 100 Days: Gates: "Open The Gates" Read: Isa. 26:2, 60:11, 62:10, 38:10, 45:2, Jer. 51, Matt 16
by Chuck Pierce on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 10:01am

The gates are powerful symbols of God's authority over His people. As we see in the book of Isaiah, God's laws that keep His people and the spiritual health of the nation could be symbolized by the usage of this word "gate":

· Open the gates, that the righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in (26:2).
· Therefore your gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day or night, that men may bring to you the wealth of the Gentiles, and their kings in procession (60:11).
· Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the high- way! Take out the stones, lift up a banner for the peoples! (62:10).
The gates are also symbolic of evil powers that war against the souls of people and against the church that Christ is building (italics added):
· I said, "In the prime of my life I shall go to the gates of Sheol; I am deprived of the remainder of my years" (Isa. 38:10).
· "I will go before you and make the crooked place straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron" (Isa. 45:2).
· Thus says the LORD of hosts: "The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; the people will labor in vain, and the nations, because of the fire; and they shall be weary" (Jer. 51:58).
· "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it" (Matt. 16:18).
Tomorrow we will conclude our study of "gates" with a decree that will push us into a new realm!

Day 31 of 100 Days: "Gates are open for the King of Glory" Read: Ps. 24

by Chuck Pierce on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 5:57pm

As we open the 31st door today, know the Lord in His mighty form. Know He is the Great I Am. Know that He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Know that He is our Deliverer.
Chuck D. Pierce

Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you ever- lasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory (Ps. 24:7-10).

This is a time to open the gates for the King to enter. The King with His procession is approaching the gate. He asks for entry. The doorkeeper asks, "Who is it that is approaching the gate?" The password is shouted back: "The LORD, strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle." This gains Him immediate entry. Who is this King of Glory? He is the Lord of Hosts, Yahweh Sabaoth. He is the captain of all the angelic armies, the armies of Israel, the hosts of nations, ruler of everything in heaven and on earth. When that heavenly portal opens, we allow this King access in our life, city, corporate worship or nation. Open the portals of glory so He may come in.

Day 32 of 100 Days "Bringing in the Ark" Read 2 Sam. 6:1-11, Memorize Prov. 16:25, Meditate on Ex. 3.
by Chuck Pierce on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 5:52pm

Have you ever made a mistake or tried to do a thing in your flesh or out of time? Have you ever known the will of God but not listened for His way to accomplish His will? I think we all have done this at one time or another in our life. When we make a wrong move, get trapped by falling to a temptation of the enemy, ignorantly get seduced from God's perfect way, or even willfully choose to take a path in life that leads to destruction, there is a way of escape.

Because there is an escape route from our wrong doings, this does not mean that we will forget all of the hurt or confusion that came into our lives during our time of deviation. However, if we survive and learn from our season of wandering, we can use that revelation to overcome the enemy's plan for others. Once we start again we can actually use our experience to overcome. Our hearts can be made clean, our spirit renewed, and our destiny clock reset. God's redemptive plan is activated and our horizon line of our future can be seen again. I believe many of those who have been a mess in the past will triumph and overcome in the future.

God has triumphant plan for those who will worship Him. Revelation 5:1-9 says,
"And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?" And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it. So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it. But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed (triumphed) to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals." And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne. Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song…" (NKJV)

Ask the Lord to bring forth a new song from the "messy" part of your heart. Once that song breaks lose, a new order will begin to break forth in the midst of your chaos.

Day 33 of 100 Days: In these days ahead we must “see beyond!” Read the book of Revelation, Is. 55 Memorize Ephesians 1:3-6
by Chuck Pierce on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:06am

We must ask the Lord to open our eyes to the invisible world around us. We must co-labor with the Hosts of Heaven. We (the Army of the Earth) and Hosts of Heaven (the angelic forces) must co-labor together to bring forth God’s Kingdom plan in the earth. We must worship in new ways! We must release our inhibitions and ascend in new ways until we are boldly before the Lord who created us for a time such as this. Ask the Lord to open your eyes! Ask Him to remove veils of religion and unbelief that have captivated your heart and faith expression. Ask Him to deliver you from the trauma of past circumstances. Ask Him to break a spirit of infirmity that has attached to wounded emotions because of deferred hopes. Break any wrong judgments that you have built up in your mind against God because you did not “see” the fullness of His plan for your life in the past season!

When working in the secular field of Human Resources, I would journey each day through intense traffic to my office in Houston, Texas. This would entail a one hour commute each way. I finally realized that if I had someone driving me, I would be free to read and even seek the Lord during those two hours, instead of wasting energy reaching my destination (and at times, experiencing a touch of road rage). Therefore, I found a commuter bus where I could get seated and immerse myself in communion.

One hot summer day as I was having my daily Bible reading on the ride to work, the following verse leapt off the page of my Bible: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.” (Ephesians 1:3-6) Suddenly, a window in heaven appeared and opened. Now, remember, I am on a bus to downtown Houston, and the heavens open and I “see beyond”.

I could see all the blessings of my grandfathers. I could see all of the blessing that my father had been offered. I could see how the faith of my grandmother had stored blessings in the heaven for future generations. I could see my blessings for now and the future.

The Lord then spoke and said, “All of these blessings are yours. The blessings that were never taken by your family bloodline are still there to be released to you. The blessings I have for children and their children are stored for future release. Look now and see your call. I have spoken these blessings to you. Now, you must bring those blessings into reality by faith! Faith comes! Bring My faith that is heaven into action in the earth!”

The Word had unlocked the Heavens for me and allowed me to see into a realm that I had never seen before. Faith filled the bus. I could not contain this faith. I actually thought the bus would turn over as the atmosphere of heaven invaded. I said to the Lord, “What do I do with this faith?” He said, “Give it away!” Since that time, I have warred on earth for a manifestation of all of these promises. I had seen my inheritance and received faith to possess or occupy what God was offering me!

Like the Apostle John on the isle of Patmos, I had come up and seen beyond where I was on earth. Worship causes you to ascend and see what Heaven has to offer. After seeing into God’s heart and dwelling place, you have the faith to bring what is revealed into an earthly reality.

Day 34 of 100 Days: The Apostolic Perspective Memorize Luke 10:2, Read Revelation 14, Meditate on Isaiah 32
by Chuck Pierce on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 10:14am

We have entered a new worship season in the earth. I call this, "The Season of Harvest Songs!" This is an apostolic season. An apostolic season is where we receive our call and are sent into the fields that have been prepared for harvest. We have a mentality of celebration, work, war, and triumph all expressed through worship. The harvest is a picture of God's judgment. Jesus used this as a metaphor to make us realize that there will come a time when He gathers those who believe. The harvest has already begun. It began when Jesus first came and now is maturing rapidly. Yet there is a "tug-of-war" in heavenly places over who will control the harvest and bring the resources into the storehouse. Luke 10:2 says, "Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." (NKJV)

Worshiping in Spirit and Truth is necessary to enter the war in the earth realm for a Kingdom Harvest. There are many fields and all are being prepared for the harvesters, the WORSHIPPERS, to enter. Storehouses are being prepared. The final theater of war will be the War of Harvest. Harvest time is when we are at the end of a season, the crops have matured, and there must be a gathering. Revelation 14:15-16 says, "And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, 'Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.' So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped." (NKJV)
In God's Unfolding Battle Plan (Regal Books, 2007), I share the following: "We face a multitude of wars in various dimensions and from every front. In the next 20 years, all nations will reconcile around Israel, while some will arise to become dominant on the world scene. The United States of America will attempt to find its voice new and fresh but will not be heard as loudly as in the past. Mammon will be the greatest influencing force of rule in the world. Bloodlines will continue to conflict with other bloodlines simply because nations are comprised of people with unredeemed blood. The carnal mind will continue, as always, to be in enmity with God and resist His knowledge. Antichrist will continue to have a plan to rule the earth. However, the earth-again, as always-will still be the Lord's and the fullness thereof!"

Because the Earth is the Lord's and He has a plan of fullness, He has a plan of Harvest. Harvest is a process. The grain must be cut with a sickle. What has been cut is then gathered into sheaves and taken to the threshing floor where tools or animals are used for the threshing. The grain is winnowed and tossed into the air, where the wind separates and blows away the chaff from the heavier kernels of the harvest. The last phase of harvest is the storage finale. This occurs when the kernels are shaken in a sieve so that the harvest can be stored. The war dynamic of harvest is maturing at this time over this point of the process. We are in a shaking process. What can be shaken will be shaken. The Lord is shaking away the iniquities in our lives, corporate gatherings, cities and nations that would make us less "marketable."

The key to our harvest is the weight of His glory. In the winnowing stage, the weightier kernels do not blow away. In the season ahead there will be many issues that cause us to be tossed to and fro. Without the weight of His glory resting upon us, we will be blown away and not complete the harvesting process that God has released into the earth. We can only receive this key to harvest if we learn to worship in Spirit and Truth.

Not only are we being harvested, but we are the harvesters for the future! Dr. Robert Heidler, the incredible teacher that I serve with, recently wrote me the following: "Two nights ago I had a dream. In the dream Linda had been out shopping and came home with a cardboard box. In the box was a rattlesnake. She said, 'The Lord told me if we would bring this rattlesnake into our house and keep it there for three weeks that we would enter into a season of endless harvest.' So we did. We put the poisonous snake in the garage and kept the door closed to make sure it couldn't get in to the main house. We were very careful how we went into the garage because we knew we had a rattlesnake in the house. I awakened and remembered that when we were commissioned and sent, or apostolos-ed, we were given authority over serpents and scorpions. The problem is the Church has been so frightened of the world that we won't let ourselves get anywhere near its contamination. But if we will put aside our fear and bring the world into our homes, not to become 'of it' but to convert and sanctify all the culture for God's purposes, we will see that we do have authority over the power of the enemy."

I heard the Lord say: "Some of you are resisting bringing the enemy under your feet. That's what is keeping your next level of portion from being unlocked. The harvest is yours. Do not fear the enemy when I give you the enemy. Ask Me for your desire on your enemy. If you'll ask Me for your desire on your enemies, what I will do is bring that enemy in and within three weeks everything that the enemy has held up, confiscated, or taken from you, I will give you. The storehouse the enemy was guarding, you will now own the key!

"There is a time that harvest comes! Even if your harvest season was once captured, in My plan and in My season I can cause a harvest season to come back around again. Open your eyes. Open your eyes of faith. Open your eyes of expectation! I am a God that is able to bring harvest back to you. If you are willing to seek Me, if you are willing to set your face like flint, I can bring the windows of heaven back over you so what you've lost, what has been walled up and stored away from your use in one season, can be released now! You can see the harvest come in and secured for this day.

"Worship Me in Spirit and Truth and I can cause cities and cultures that knew Me not, to be transformed in a day. Hear My songs of Heaven. New songs break old cycles. Harvest songs are being released. Sing with Heaven and I will send Hosts to assist you in the Harvest."

Day 35 of 100 Days: "Rebuilding David's Tabernacle!" Read: 1 Samuel 30, 2 Samuel 5, Meditate on Psalm 92
by Chuck Pierce on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 3:37pm

The restoration of David's Tabernacle is advancing in the earth realm. Notice the present tense of the preceding sentence. Every generation is called to build a Tabernacle of Praise. David built a new model in the earth. Amos prophesied that this model would be built again. In Book of Acts, the apostles said, "This is that which Amos prophesied!" In the Book of Revelation, John is brought into a heavenly dimension and sees this tabernacle filled with a worshipping army. In latter days, the same army on earth will express triumph because they have won the war in the heavens. We, God's army in the earth, will co-labor with the Host of Heaven to express a Holy God's overcoming power throughout the nations of the earth. This level of worship will unlock a global harvest.

David was a warrior. He knew the reality of an Almighty God and he praised Him violently. He was a shepherd and a king. He had a heart after God and his heart had to release praise. Your violent praise is preparing a storehouse for Kingdom harvest. Worship is the key issue at this time in the history of the Church. I believe worship will dethrone any throne that the enemy has built in this world. Let us stand together to put a canopy of protection around the nations as we worship, intercede and believe that God will move on our behalf.
The other key issue that breaks us forth in times of crisis and change is the anointing. David was anointed. His anointing was progressive. As a lad, the youngest of eight brothers from the House of Jesse, he was anointed by Samuel. He was anointed as King of all of Israel. However, this anointing led him through many dangers. He was anointed by Judah after winning a great battle at Ziklag. He was eventually anointed by all of Israel to the HILL that no one had ever taken, a hill that David would name Zion.

To do this he had to battle. To restore, recover all, and fulfill God's ultimate plan, he had to war. The Lord' troops were led forward by sound. The goal of His company of saints was to establish His glory. David's ultimate goal as king was to get the Ark of His Covenant to the resting place on Zion's Hill. To do that, he and his mighty army had to "take the Hill" first. Once the Hill was taken, they had to hear clearly how to advance. But the enemy also heard that this anointing and glory were on the move. The Philistines, David's long time enemy, heard of his new anointing and how David had taken the Jebusites' stronghold and secured the Hill for the Lord. They were determined to stop the Ark from getting to the place that God had ordained. David had to maneuver his way past this enemy force, but to do so he would have to hear the right sound!

The sound that he was to listen for was "the wind in the mulberry trees." In 2 Samuel 5, David had experienced a major breakthrough in his own life. What had been prophesied over him 29 years prior had actually come into fulfillment. He then had to lead the armies forth into battle. When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed as king, they rose up against him. David defeated the Philistines and drove them out of his jurisdictional authority. However, they regrouped and came back at him again. He asked the Lord if he was to pursue them. In 2 Samuel 5:24 the Lord answers, "And . . . when you hear the sound of the marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, then you shall advance quickly." The sound of marching was not just the wind blowing the tops of the trees, but the Hosts of Heaven and the armies of God rustling the leaves and signifying they were present to help David in victory.

This is a time to recognize the angels and Hosts of Heaven among us! If we will keep our spirits active and in communion with Holy Spirit, we will begin to see the presence of God and His Hosts of Heaven that are contending on our behalf. In the book of Revelation, we find the real issue is the relationship between the sounds of heaven and the demonstration of God on earth. Sound leads us forth. Be willing to allow the sounds of Heaven to order your actions today. Ask the Lord for a new anointing. Do not be afraid to take "your hill". Not only take the hill, but be willing to establish a new form of worship in the place that God has called you to dwell. Let His glory and anointing in you shine outward. Dwell with Him and watch Him tabernacle with you.

Day 36 of 100 Days: "Rebuilding David's Tabernacle Again!" Read Matthew 9, Meditate on Acts 15, Memorize Matthew 9:17
by Chuck Pierce on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 12:23pm

Change can be good or devastating. The evolution (used in the right sense) of one structure to another is very important to understand. When we read the history of change in a field, any field, we are amazed at how God chose gifted, submitted people with creative ability to lead us through changes and then end up with a product of greater quality than the one that began the process. The transition that occurs in that reforming process is amazing. Transition has three key phases: an ending or death, confusion in development of the new process, and finally a new and better display of the original. Another way of saying this is: A hard death causes a germination process that results in a new thing.

As time has progressed, the original Ford Model T car has now transitioned to many different forms of much greater quality. That prototype has now been used by many throughout the world to bring change in how we reach our destination. To build or rebuild is to create something with a new look or of a better quality than the original. To build means to add "sons and daughters" to what is being built. God's intent in every generation is to find someone or a group who would build a new David's Tabernacle - the best prototype that had ever been built for His Presence to dwell within. This prototype would be used for worship.

New or neos can mean something that has never been before. Usually, new is better reflected in the word kainos, which means something from the original that is now of much better quality and more efficient for the time. The only place that we find both these words working together is in Matthew 9 when our Lord is helping the next generation of disciples prepare to build the future prototype for the Church to come. I want you to read this passage that we often use to justify change. Jesus made a famous statement about a new wine skin. Matthew recorded the statement for us to understand for the centuries of time that would follow. He said, "You can't put 'new' (Greek neos) wine, in old wineskins, but you need new, 'fresh' (kainos) wineskins." "Neos" means "new" in respect to time, implying immaturity or lack of development. "Kainos" means "new" or "renewed or rebuilt" in respect to quality. This statement contrasted the "old" or "not renewed" and implied superiority. However, I want you to read this statement in full context.

The first issue in changing and moving into the next structure for a new season is: How teachable are you? Matthew 9:12-13 says, "But when Jesus heard it, He replied, 'Those who are strong and well (healthy) have no need of a physician, but those who are weak and sick.' Go and learn what this means: I desire mercy [that is, readiness to help those in trouble] and not sacrifice and sacrificial victims. For I came not to call and invite [to repentance] the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with God), but sinners (the erring ones and all those not free from sin)." (AMP) Jesus had changed His approach from the way John the Baptist had evangelized (calling many out to the desert for repentance) to actually going where the sinners were. Jesus knew that there was such a need for grace with prostitutes, thieves and others of low reputation whose sins were blatant and obvious. Established religion did not give these types the opportunity to change. The religious structure had rules and laws that they themselves had grown blind to because of their "righteous" understanding, and pretexts could cover their conscience. Jesus was teaching that those who said that they were "righteous" were actually worse and resisted any new teaching.

The next issue in shifting is how your worship and authority develop as you enter a new season. "Then the disciples of John came to Jesus, inquiring, 'Why is it that we and the Pharisees fast often, [that is, abstain from food and drink as a religious exercise], but Your disciples do not fast?' And Jesus replied to them, 'Can the wedding guests mourn while the bridegroom is still with them? The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast. And no one puts a piece of cloth that has not been shrunk on an old garment, for such a patch tears away from the garment and a worse rent (tear) is made.'" (vss. 14-16). In an attempt to validate Jesus' discipleship method, John's disciples brought up how John had trained them to fast and wear certain garments. Notice, John's disciples had actually gone backwards to align with the Pharisees' form of worship and teaching. Jesus was warning that the last season's spiritual methods, such as fasting, would not be the real key to unlocking the season that they were presently forming and building. Actually, He was showing them that the old structure of religion and Judaism could not be patched by the Messiah-infiltrated Kingdom plan. Old teaching without a new mashach, or anointing, is not enough to produce spiritual life. A new anointing without a foundation can be disastrous. Therefore, a shrinking of the original garment and the new piece must occur. This is important as the two fit together. This becomes one of the most difficult lessons as you approach the new. One must determine how to align the new with the old. One must worship in spirit and truth to find reality!

There has to be an adjustment as you move into the new. However, the adjustment must occur without compromise. "Neither is new wine put in old wineskins; for if it is, the skins burst and are torn in pieces, and the wine is spilled and the skins are ruined. But new wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved." (v.17). Old wineskins have lost their strength and elasticity so that they cannot withstand the pressure of new wine still fermenting, although an old wineskin can be restored to service if it's useful qualities are renewed. Here it is Judaism which must be adjusted to Messianic faith. If one tries to put new wine (Messianic faith) into old wineskins (traditional Judaism), the faith is lost and Judaism ruined. But if Judaism is freshly prepared and reconditioned so that it can accommodate trust in Yeshua the Messiah, both the faith and the renewed Judaism, Messianic Judaism, are preserved.

The new wine of Kingdom living cannot be poured into an old religious form that continues to remain rigid from the past way of learning and doing. If these old religious forms will become "fresh," they can accommodate Yeshua, the Messiah, the Anointed One. When "kainos" is rendered "new," the wineskin or structure becomes a vessel which can hold the new wine of Messianic life in a Jewish setting. The renewed, restored, reconditioned and refreshed form of worship can now suffice for adding sons and daughters into for the future.

The key to any new season is either to press through and come out of the old last administration, or to be resurrected into the new administration. "While He was talking this way to them, behold, a ruler entered and, kneeling down, worshiped Him, saying, My daughter has just now died; but come and lay Your hand on her, and she will come to life. And Jesus got up and accompanied him, with His disciples. And behold, a woman who had suffered from a flow of blood for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His garment; for she kept saying to herself, 'If I only touch His garment, I shall be restored to health.'" (vss. 18-21)

The number 12 means new administration. One woman confined and diseased for 12 years pressed out of the old diseased prison of life and touched the new structure. She pressed past her gender, her impure state, and the legal bondage that held her. A young girl 12 years of age fell asleep and died but was resurrected and awakened into the new administrative structure. This proved that if you were held captive in a legal structure or past season, you could get out through faith or be raised by faith with no effort into the new that was waiting.

Are you ready to go again into the new? We must be willing to press through each season to become part of the new that is being birthed and the structure that houses the future. If we do so, we can both be poured out again and change the world around us! Your transition to the new may have been difficult. You may have needed to die in many areas and be confused from all you have gone through. However, press through for the new is worth the difficulties!

Day 37 of 100 Days: "Believe That You Can and You Will" Read: Acts 17
by Chuck Pierce on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 9:09am

We will focus on our belief for the next few days going into day 40. Our faith has to go to the next level. Decree that you "Believe that you can and you will!"
Chuck D. Pierce

Time and space are two of the most interesting and difficult concepts to grasp as you move through your life journey. We are in time, but God is not. Though some of us may feel that we were born out of time, we have been set in time and place to understand our Creator and what He created us to accomplish. Acts 17:26 says, "He has . . . determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings." When you are in time correctly, you can grasp God and His purpose for your life.

Times are changing, and we must stay in God's timing to prosper in a world where the god of this age desires to mold you into the blueprint of the day and cause you to look like the world around you. But we are called to have transformed minds and be linked to the Head-not to bring up the rear in producing the changes around us. Even righteous Lot was vexed because of his environment in Sodom. When we are at the right place at the right time we can break out of vexing, confusing, mind-altering powers that war against the covenant of holy God and all of the blessings He is ready to pour upon us.

In this season, you must know your belief system. What do you believe in? Whom do you believe in? Everyone has some sort of belief system that they develop for their life. Mine is the Word of God. In this season we must rehearse the Word. What revelation has come to you? That is what you use to war in the world around you. We must meditate on what God says until the power of that revelation enters our bloodstream and cell structure. We also must learn to worship and minister in our homes. Doing so will allow our gifts to be activated in a new way in small groups. When the time comes that we are not free to worship publicly in our church buildings, we will already know how to continue worshiping in our homes. Take the points below and use them to speak into your life and the environment around you.

Day 38 of 100 Days: "I Believe the Bible Is the Word of God" Read: Rom. 10, Heb. 4
by Chuck Pierce on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 1:09pm

We are continuing our focus on belief. Here is one of the points I mentioned in at the end of yesterday's focus. Let's get this foundation in us so we move forward without any doubt!
Chuck D. Pierce

I am asked often, "What do you believe?"
This summarizes my belief system: Hebrews 4:12 says, "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Romans 10:17 says, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. "Therefore I contend that if faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, then for those who are lost, faith to be saved comes by hearing the Word of God, and for those who are already saved, faith to continue on to spiritual maturity comes by hearing the Word of God. I believe Father God came as Spirit and hovered over a virgin and impregnated her. I believe the Son was then born to this virgin named Mary and grew in stature and favor with man. I believe that He came unto His own but His own did not receive Him.

I believe that He overcame the power of sin in this world and withstood all temptations that would be known to man. He presented who Father was to mankind. He then submitted Himself to Father's plan, for me. He was then sacrificed, that I could be redeemed from the power of sin. I believe that He overcame death, hell, and the grave and now sits at the right hand of the Father. I believe His Spirit dwells among us to give us the same power to overcome all temptation, sin, and decay of the world.

I believe that I can be a son and receive a full inheritance from Him. I believe that the miracle-working power that was displayed by Jesus Christ, the Messiah, as He rose from the dead is now working in the world today. It is available to each and every one who will submit to the cross he or she has been given. This power enables us to unlock our futures and walk in overcoming victory.

I believe His power is working in the earth to align and redeem nations, forming a joyful house of prayer for each ethnic group. I believe this power continues to work to make Gentiles and Jews into one new man who will be presented to the Father. I believe that if I give my best, monthly, to Him, I will move from blessing to blessing until blessings overtake me.

Day 39 of 100 Days: "Faith Develops and Increases" Read Ps. 78, Isa. 63:17, 26:13, Prov. 9:10, 14:15, Ps. 25, 1 Tim. 1:18
by Chuck Pierce on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 11:07am

Today I write the final focus on belief. I want us to meditate on faith today. Decree you are moving in a new level of faith today! Decree miracles will begin to taking place!
Chuck D. Pierce

Faith is linked with an object. This book centers on a holy living God who sent His Son as His perfect reflection for us to believe, just as the prophets have prophesied and the Scriptures have been written. We do not seek God just for information; we seek God so we can respond and relate to Him. God is not important unless He is the supreme importance of our life.

Faith is not the same as belief. Faith is sensitivity, understanding, engagement, and attachment. We can gain more understanding of the object of our faith, or we can resist His plan and lose what we once acquired. A good example is the generation that left Egypt (Ps. 78:14-32; Isa. 63:17). Faith includes faithfulness, strength of waiting, the acceptance of His concealment, and the defiance of history (Isa. 26:13). Faith is preceded by awe or fear-the beginning of wisdom (Prov. 9:10). Without faith, we cannot please God.

Faith is like the numbers of a combination lock. We have many promises, but without combining and mixing those promises with faith, we cannot open up the way to enter the promise. Every time our faith soars, we gain a secret that is like one of the numbers that is necessary to open the combination lock. The secrets of God are with those who fear and reverence Him in worship. Psalm 25:12-15 says:
Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. He himself shall dwell in prosperity, and his descendants shall inherit the earth. The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant. My eyes are ever toward the Lord, For He shall pluck my feet out of the net.

We must learn to see the miracles that are daily with us. There are signposts all along our path. By faith, signs illuminate and keep our path bright. These signposts are like streetlights that guide us through a dark neighborhood. Because "faith cometh," we must open our eyes to where we are going (Prov. 14:15).

Our faith is linked with the submission of our will. We must learn how to let His will prevail. The will wars against faith. Until the will is yielded, you cannot secure your desire. Our faith is not just our concern but is also His concern. Only in His light do we see light.

Through His Word, we have power to overcome the enemy's plan. This season is supernatural! I am a pray-er and love to meet corporately with others to pray. Each time we meet for corporate prayer, we discuss what the Lord was saying from heaven and prophesying to us during the week. Then we pray. We watch and war with this revelation. First Timothy 1:18 admonishes us, "According to the prophecies previously made concerning you . . . you may wage the good warfare."

God's people must leave religion and their natural way of battle and enter this supernatural season with sharpened weapons. This is a season of breaking new ground, a time for us to gain new vision. For you to see the necessary action for breakthrough, you must extend your hand through the darkness and into the heavenly realm. You will touch God in a new way. That divine touch is like lightning connecting from one world to this world. You become God's lightning rod. The Lord will give you strength by touching you with His hand. He will release the sword of revelation, which will connect with you to do war. Every dark, evil, watching force cannot hide when His light invades the realm of Earth and illuminates your spirit with revelation. Revelation produces faith, and faith overcomes.

Day 40 of 100 Days: "Jesus-Our Best Example in the Wilderness" Read: Luke 4
by Chuck Pierce on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 8:14am

We have pressed through for 40 days! Now for the next several days I want to focus on the Jesus' wilderness experience. We must see the wilderness as Jesus did. Decree you mind is being renewed today!
Chuck D. Pierce

If we model after Jesus, we will always be victorious to come through and go into the next season. Jesus moved through His wilderness stops. To do so, He had to resist forty straight days. Never before had the enemy's tempting voice so bombarded anyone on Earth. All mankind hung in the balance over this forty-day confrontation and war in the wilderness.

The key to Yeshua's victory was that He submitted. When He entered into the wilderness, He immediately submitted Himself to Father God. From submission He was able to resist the enemy.
He resisted presumption.

· He resisted pride.
· He resisted the lust of the eyes.
· He resisted the promise of grandeur.

We must submit in the midst of our testing's. To submit means, "to stand under." To resist means, "to stand against." When we submit, we gain the power of what we are standing under. Then we can resist from that power and authority that are flowing from above into the very depth of our being. Our spirit man is filled by the spirit or Spirit to whom we are submitted. From the power and manifestation of that spirit, we resist. Jesus had entered the wilderness filled with the Spirit that had rested on Him when He submitted to be baptized by John the Baptist.

The moment we stop resisting, our spirit man is invaded with an atmosphere that leads to vexation. Satan will meet you on every front and use any tactic to take the deed that you have been given. The enemy's goal is to make sure you fall short in your ability to prosper. Not only are we to multiply, but also we are to expand the boundaries of our land, both spiritually and physically.

Each phase of expansion in your life has a wilderness front. Most of us think, "If I can just make it through one wilderness, I've won the whole war." Every phase of expansion has a wilderness front through which you must learn to war. You must always allow the Spirit of God to evaluate you in each of the phases.

Day 41 of 100 Days: “Jesus Taught Us True Humility in the Wilderness”
by Chuck Pierce on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at 10:34am

Today I want us to meditate simply on coming into a new level of humility. Jesus’ humility was unmatched and still is to this day! Decree that humility is coming to a new level in every situation of your life!

Chuck D. Pierce

The only way you can make it through the first stop on your path to destiny is to stay humble. Being humble does not mean you cower down to the enemy. To be humble means you rely upon someone other than yourself. You bend yourself over so you’re not exalting yourself above everyone else. You submit your thoughts. You lay down your own human reasoning and listen for instruction. To be a disciple, you must be teachable. You must never believe that you know it all, or you will become apathetic to change. To be humble means that you’re bending yourself over to get through a rocky, dry place with many dangers. In other words, if you stay low, your head will remain in a protected state so you can hear how to move. You will know when to go right or go left.

Anytime you are in a wilderness place, you must humble yourself until the word that will lead out comes forth. Revelation must meet you and lead you from destination to destination. All wilderness places have a release of the Word. When we embrace the exhortation or correction of the word we receive, we will experience victory and authority. That is a scriptural principle. The Word will come to you that will allow you to take possession of one wilderness place so you can move to the next and then the next until you have established your authority for the future.

Day 42 of 100 Days: "Remember the Prophetic Word" Read: Is. 40, 61, 62
by Chuck Pierce on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 11:37am

Always remember the prophetic Word while you move through the wilderness! John the Baptist transitioned his authority of one season over to the Messiah. The prophecy in Isaiah 40 defines this transition. A wilderness season was prophesied: "'Comfort, yes, comfort My people!' says your God. 'Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, that her warfare is ended'" (Isa. 40:1-2). Many times prophecy states the end and the beginning. In this wilderness place, Isaiah prophesied:

"Her iniquity is pardoned;
For she has received from the Lord's hand
Double for all her sins."
The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
"Prepare the way of the Lord;
Make straight in the desert
A highway for our God.
Every valley shall be exalted
And every mountain and hill brought low;
The crooked places shall be made straight
And the rough places smooth;
The glory of the Lord shall be revealed,
And all flesh shall see it together;
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken."
The voice said, "Cry out!"
And he said, "What shall I cry?"
-Isaiah 40:2-6

In your wilderness place, there is a prophecy working to bring God's plan of fulfillment into your life and the earth in which we walk. Now look at another portion of that prophecy in Isaiah. Read all the way from Isaiah 40 through Isaiah 62, and you will understand the full concept of what will happen in the seasons ahead to fulfill the plan of Father in the earth. Good news is coming! These portions of Scripture say that we will press through our wilderness to get to the manifestation of the good news.

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
And they shall rebuild the old ruins.
-Isaiah 61:1-4, emphasis added

Day 43 of 100 Days: “Repentance Has Three Dimensions” Read: Rom. 8
by Chuck Pierce on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 11:06am

We are still focusing on the wilderness. Repentance is an important part of your wilderness experience. Let us get a new understanding of this today.

Chuck D. Pierce

Look for those who are going before you with a message of change. Don’t keep advancing through the wilderness without knowing why you’re in that wilderness and what is being tested. John was preaching a certain message. That’s why he’s called the Baptist. He was preaching repentance. To repent means “to change your mind.” If we change our mind, we can take new land.

Repentance has three dimensions. First, repentance takes an intellectual shift. Your brain has to shift. You have to say, “I believe this, but here is another paradigm that I’m having to choose.” You see the theory presented, and you have to make the choice that this is right. You understand in your intellect that what you have heard is a correct direction for your life. We must remember “the carnal mind is enmity against God” (Rom. 8:7).

The next level of repentance comes when all of a sudden your emotions have to let go of some old issues that would keep you from really grabbing hold of this new paradigm. This is usually where a lot of people never repent. Our emotions stay tied to the past, tied to the way we operate, whom we operate with, and why we had problems in a previous situation. Without allowing the Lord to touch and change our emotions, we really do not fully repent. Our spirit will remain in angst and annoyed. We always live with a measure of emotion that prevents us from seeing our future clearly. You have to be healed in your emotions of the past to shift into your future.

The third component of repentance is that there has to be a will action. The will action produces the reality of your repentance. John the Baptist was drawing people to the wilderness. Their status and upbringing didn’t matter. Their wealth or poverty was not an issue. We find that publicans came out. Soldiers came out. The people had not forgotten that there was a Torah. Rather, they did not see a reality in the Torah; there was no reality in the operation of the Word. Most revivals take on this character of a wilderness-season repentance because we have gotten so far from the reality of the Word. We’re acknowledging the Word in a new way by saying, “O my God, how did we drift so far from it?”

Day 44 of 100 Days: "Jesus Is Baptized" Read: Matt. 3
by Chuck Pierce on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 10:36am

John the Baptist baptized people so they would actually recognize the shift in their thought processes. Certain denominations, like the Baptist denomination, follow the same method. John the Baptist helped people shift their way of thinking and move in a certain way. This was a valid baptism, and there was nothing wrong with his message. But unless the people also moved forward from this baptism, they would remain in a wilderness way of spiritual life. Today many moves of God remain in this place-left in the wilderness with this baptism. You're not out of the wilderness. You know you want to live a better life that has been presented to you. You want to have your conscience clean of the way you have been thinking and doing.

There's nothing wrong with John's baptism, and it is a wonderful method. People came by the droves to get into this form of change. Jesus Himself went there to get into and connect with that which paved the way for the next dimension that we must enter. Jesus went and got in this move. The only way we can be affirmed for the next move of Father is to connect with the last major move He was doing. The only way we will get to our next there is to come out to the wilderness, get dunked in what was, and then allow something new to happen.

When Jesus connected and was baptized, the heavens opened. Something Father had planned was completed in that wilderness season. This is important. You must watch for what was completed in your wilderness season. This is how fullness comes into reality. There are certain things that will produce a fullness in one wilderness season that release us into the Pentecost season ahead. Isaiah prophesied in one season. John the Baptist prophesied in the next. We're saying, "You can come out of that season. There is something coming!"

Day 45 of 100 Days: The Heavens Open and a New Season Begins Read: Deut. 6: 13&16, Matt. 4
by Chuck Pierce on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 11:48am

Jesus came to the wilderness of the last season-a season that stretched hundreds of years back, to the point when time began. All of a sudden there was a fullness of time. All righteousness had been fulfilled. Jesus connected the last season of mankind to the season waiting in the future. The heavens opened and God spoke, and everyone there recognized that the season had ended. A new anointing came down upon Yeshua to lead us into the next season of repentance.

Jesus had to be affirmed as Messiah; He had to be affirmed as a different move of God. And that's what leads us up to the wilderness temptation. The wilderness temptation is not like other temptations. The wilderness temptation in your life is not the same as a normal temptation you go through. A lot of people don't think like this.

Jesus had been tempted since the day He was born. He wasn't the boy in the bubble. He was tempted when He was twelve years old when His parents wanted Him to pull out of what He was forming. He was tempted as a man. But this wilderness temptation when He was thirty years old was different from anything He'd experienced before because the wilderness temptation represented His new season that He was now leading in.

The wilderness temptation that Jesus went through was a greater type of confrontation than He had ever experienced, because a whole new season hinged on that temptation. That's why the warfare was different. He had to connect worlds. He needed to connect two worlds in this temptation. He was connecting a physical world with a spiritual world that was a new, divine connection. Heaven and Earth connected in a different way. In a wilderness temptation, we're not just prophesying to prophesy, and we're not teaching just to teach. Rather, we are in a different moment in a history of the manifestation of the word. There is this divine connecting of worlds, and that's why the temptation is greater.

Once Jesus made it through this temptation, He needed to return to last season's structure and look face-to-face at those who watched Him grow up. He had to go back to Nazareth, to the synagogue, and face off in the place He'd been going all those years. The very people who had been worshiping with Him in the last season needed to face off with who He was in the new season. Did you recognize this is what was happening? He had to go back to the same synagogue He grew up in and face them off in the new He came through. And in doing that, He cast a demon out of the synagogue leader! This is the reality of our wilderness temptation. In this wilderness temptation, certain things are so important for us to understand. First of all, these were not internal temptations Jesus faced. He'd been dealing with that for thirty years. We must get to a point where the enemy is not able to affect us with all our internal issues. These weren't internal issues that Jesus was facing.

The purpose of any temptation is to gain an advantage over you and to put an upper hand over your land; you are tempted so an upper hand can get over your land. But there's a level of temptation that is linked to your destiny. That is why the Lord has a certain grace for you when you're going through all your childish schemes, before you've put away your youthful desires. Some people grow old with some besetting sin still in operation that they should have gotten rid of by the time they were twenty-six. We must get past those internal issues, because there is a greater spiritual world out there that God wants to use us in. Jesus's temptation was linked with the original intent of Father for His life.

Those temptations were coming to connect with the inward, original intent that He was to accomplish in His future. Those temptations were not attacking Jesus the man but Jesus the Messiah, because seasons had shifted. There will be corporate temptations for a church, business, ministry, and family until that work reaches the true identity that God intended. The enemy intends these temptations to prevent a full identity from manifesting. You must get to a place of maturity where you display who you are and are used to change or influence the culture you are positioned in for your future.

There are levels and degrees of temptation. Unlike Peter, who went back to an old vocation after failing in his moment of trial, Jesus did not return to being a carpenter. With Jesus, the temptation was against His future destiny and identity as Messiah. He was no longer a carpenter; He was God as man, who would resist and redeem man. There are times that Satan will come against you to stop you from manifesting who you will be in the future. You have to recognize this plot every time you make a shift to a new place. You have to ask yourself, "Why am I going through this here?" It's because your destiny will now be seen in a new way in a new place.

Jesus's temptations were designed to tempt Him so He would not be the head of a new movement. He was not being tempted over the old, fallen race. He was being tempted in a whole new movement of a redeemed people who were going to take dominion in a new way. The temptations were to stop God's redemptive plan for mankind. They were to break the power of the anointing that had come from heaven when heaven opened. All of a sudden these wilderness temptations were contending with the voice that had entered the earth and commissioned the next level of redemption for mankind. These temptations were not contending with Jesus's last thirty years. Rather, there was contention because heaven had opened up and a new anointing had come down on Him like a dove. The Spirit was now leading a new movement, so hell had to attempt to keep an upper hand over mankind. Every time you get a new anointing, hell will contend against you.

Now let's look at the power of the tempter and how he works against us in a new season as opposed to an old season. First of all, he realized Jesus was in a famished condition. He was tired. He was hungry. He had pressed through one season, and now He was in the wilderness, led by the Spirit, with a new anointing that had come on Him-but without any sustenance. When this happened to the children of Israel, they murmured. Jesus withstood.

Satan must find the right moment to take advantage of you before your identity reflects your future. Jesus needed to redeem what the serpent did to entice Adam, the old man. The new man is already working, but Satan went back to Adam, the old man, and tried his oldest method on Him. He said, "Are You . . . ?" He needed to put doubt in Jesus's mind, because when the heavens opened, the Word that came upon Him was, "You are My beloved Son."

Satan had to ask Him, "Are You really that? Are You really that which was said about You? Have you really shifted Your identity from the last season to this season? Are we really in a new dimension? Is heaven really connecting?" The tempter's oldest method was used first-but it failed.

He then attempted to incite Jesus to be dissatisfied. He does the same things with us and tries to make us dissatisfied with our new place. Some might say, "We were doing good. Why are you trying to change things?" In a new season, we must learn to be satisfied in our new place. We must see new manifestations of God's glory. We must move forward in a new way, but Satan will do whatever he can to stop us. One of his strategies is to say, "I have to make you dissatisfied with this new place you're in, and I have to make you impatient to try to get out of it sooner than God's going to get you out of it."

Satan said to Jesus, "I'm going to use Your self-will to try to tell You some good things that will get You out of this place sooner. Why should You be denying yourself? Why don't You go eat something? Why are You going through all this? You've already been called Messiah."
Jesus basically said, "I'm in a wilderness place because the Spirit put Me there. I'm going to deny Myself in this wilderness place until Father tells Me differently. I am going to stay here until I come forth with power. I am going to stay here until every temptation known to man has been resisted. Only Father knows when I have completed My time here. I can trust Him to keep Me here until I have fulfilled this assignment."
The tempter said, "Why don't You eat something? You'll be better off in here if You just eat." Jesus resisted by taking the Word of God. Satan also used the Word of God. It's the height of a religious force. Jesus had to use the Word of God to counteract the Word of God that Satan was using. That's how religion hangs on for dear life. Jesus resisted by going to Deuteronomy 8:3 and using that Word against the enemy.

The second temptation the enemy presents was based upon Jesus's call. Here's the subtlety of what the enemy does. Jesus came to redeem the kingdoms of the world, so Satan tried to take His call and offer it to Him out of time. "Let me give You this thing more quickly." In other words, "Let me show You a way to compromise for You to take dominion. You don't want to go through the process of all that warfare to take dominion in that thing God's promised You. I can show You some shortcuts!" What Yeshua does is to use Deuteronomy 6:13 (author's paraphrase): "Fear the Lord with all your heart and take your oaths in His name." The Word in the wilderness is an overcoming key to neutralize any strategy of vexation. I actually think this was the greatest of all His temptations, because the greatest of any temptation is going to be against your destined call. To accomplish your call, you will have to learn how to use the Word.

Remember when Jesus called Peter the name of Satan. Peter was attempting to divert the Lord from going to Jerusalem to meet His captors. When that voice of enticement is coming into your mind and heart, no matter the source, you must equate the voice to your adversary, Satan.
Here is another incredible temptation, and this is where your demise can come. Satan tempted Jesus to put God to a test. God tells us that we can test Him. In Malachi He said, "If you'll give, I'll prove Myself to you." God still says, "You can put Me to the test by giving, like I gave with My Son." But what Satan was attempting to do was produce the height of presumption. Everything being said was right, but it was not in God's timing. He was using the Word to justify this temptation. But Jesus used Deuteronomy 6:16 and rebuked the tempter. In your wilderness, the Lord will get you to a place where you rebuke your tempter.

These temptations were categories of temptations that will affect each one of us throughout our lives. However, there is nothing that we will face in any wilderness season that was not confronted by our Lord in His forty-day period of testing. He came through triumphantly. So can you!

Notice this: "Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region" (Luke 4:14). One of the first places He returned to was Nazareth. There He displayed His new identity to those He loved and had grown with the longest. Nazareth rejected His new identity. They could recognize His goodness, perhaps even His prophetic ability, but because of familiarity, they could not see Him as Messiah. Many who are determined to stay in an old wineskin never embrace those who move into the new.
In this new season, you can be new, look new, and operate with new authority. Let every wilderness place work to empower you. Trust God to keep you there until you have heard the word clearly. Trust Him to empower you so that when you leave, you will overcome every obstacle in your path ahead.

Day 46 of 100 Days: "The Red Sea" Read: Ex. 15
by Chuck Pierce on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 10:53am

We have looked at Jesus and His wilderness experience. Now let us study Israel. This study will expand our understanding even more. We will focus on this the next few days.
Chuck D. Pierce

Coming out of Egypt, the first thing the children of Israel encountered was the Red Sea. This was a traumatic experience. Israel made it out of Egypt, but when they got to the Red Sea, they looked behind and saw Pharaoh chasing after them to try to take them back. This is a picture of a brand-new Christian. When you give your life to Jesus, you are set free, but you quickly discover that your old life will follow after you and try to take you back. Old friends will come around and try to entice you back into the old lifestyle. Old habits will try to resurface.
For Israel, the key to freedom was to pass through the water, and God made a way for them to do that. As they passed through the waters, their old life was cut off behind them. That's a picture of baptism. Baptism cuts you off from your past. Baptismal waters make a declaration. They say, "You are a new creature." Baptism is a time of great joy. When Israel came through the water, they had a big praise celebration!

God will give you victory so that your faith builds for your next test on the road. To enter your destiny, your faith needs to grow. Faith grows when it is tested, so God will put you in situations where your faith is tested, and that takes place in the wilderness.

Day 47 of 100 Days: "Five Wilderness Tests" Read: Numbers 14, Heb. 12
by Chuck Pierce on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 11:14am

We will look at the "Five Wilderness Tests" for the next 3 days.
Chuck D. Pierce

1. Marah: bitter water
When they left the shores of the Red Sea, Israel traveled through the desert for three days without finding water. When they came to Marah, they could not drink its water because it was bitter. So the people grumbled against Moses, saying, "What are we to drink?" Israel was in a bad situation. They were three days into their journey in the desert and were running out of water. This was a group of two million people-men, women, and children, along with all their livestock. If they found no water to drink, they would all die.

After three days in the desert, they came to a beautiful oasis. This appeared to be a miracle on their road. You can just picture them running toward the water and throwing themselves down at its edge, eager for a big drink of fresh water. But when they tasted it, they spit it out. The water was bitter! It was poisoned! Undrinkable! They still had no water to drink. Faced with this problem, they had a choice. Their first option was that they could choose to remember what God had done for them in the past. They could have chosen to believe He would provide. They could have said, "Lord, we will trust You to meet our needs."
Their other option was that they could focus on their problem and grumble in unbelief. Unfortunately, they did the same thing we often do-they grumbled and complained. Let me camp out here for a while since this is where we normally camp out. In the Christian life, many of us never get past this first wilderness stop. Complaining, or murmuring, is dangerous. Here are four dangers of murmuring:

1. Murmuring cuts off our vision for the future. Jesus did not murmur and complain on the cross, because His eyes were fixed on the outcome: "For the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame" (Heb. 12:2). We don't complain in the wilderness if our eyes are on the promised land! Our problem is that Satan tells us there is no way out of the wilderness. Satan tells us, "You will die in the wilderness-there's no way out!" God says, "Follow Me! I have a promised land for you!" We get to choose who we're going to agree with. When we complain, we are agreeing with the devil that our future is cut off.
2. Murmuring is dangerous because it causes us to doubt God's goodness for the present. When we complain, we are saying, "God, I don't like the route You have mapped for my life."
3. Murmuring causes unbelief to deepen and grow. The Lord told me something awhile back. He said, "Unbelief is like a seed; if you water it, it will grow." Every time we complain, we are watering our unbelief. What happens when you are underwater and open your mouth wide? Water comes in! In the same way, when we open our mouth to complain, unbelief floods in.
4. Murmuring invites greater adversity. Some of us have gotten into a cycle that gets worse and worse! When we're having a problem with someone and we complain, what happens? We experience more adversity. Murmuring puts us under a curse. Let me prove this from Scripture. What was Israel's complaint in the wilderness? The Jewish people said, "We are going to die in the wilderness!" That was not God's plan. He had promised to get them to the Promised Land.
Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, "How long shall I bear with this evil congregation who complain against Me? I have heard the complaints which the children of Israel make against Me. Say to them, 'As I live,' says the Lord, 'just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you: The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness.'"
-Numbers 14:27-29

What was God was saying? "You have refused to come into agreement with My words over your life, so instead I will come into agreement with your words." We must be careful about what we say.

Returning to the account of the bitter waters at Marah, we find that Moses cried out to the Lord, and God was gracious and provided. The Lord showed Moses a piece of wood. He said, in effect, "Moses, let Me tell you a secret. Bitter water is not a problem for Me! I can heal bitter water. See that piece of wood? Put it in the water and see what happens." Moses put the stick in the water, and the water was healed. And then God said something else: "And by the way, Moses . . . I not only heal water; I heal people! If you listen to My voice, I will keep you well, for I am the Lord who heals you." This is where God revealed Himself by the covenant name Yahweh Rophe. God was identifying Himself to His people as a God who would heal their physical infirmities. God wants us to know Him that way also. That is always part of who God is!

This was the precursor of our Healer hanging on a tree (the cross) to deliver us from all of our past murmuring and complaining and making a way for us to advance into the promise of eternal life. We can learn to praise God in adversity. We can praise God for His goodness. Even when God has us in the wilderness, there are blessings for which we can praise Him. When Israel was in the wilderness, they received manna (bread) from heaven. It came every day. Their shoes did not wear out for forty years. They saw the visible Shekinah glory of God leading them as a pillar of cloud by day and as a pillar of fire by night. God's goodness is not cut off from us in the wilderness. We need to take our eyes off the discomfort of our situation and look around us. We will surely find things for which we can offer praise. We can praise God for His presence. No matter what wilderness we are in, God is in it with us. His presence is there. We can praise God for the outcome. No matter what wilderness we are in, God has a plan for us through that wilderness, and it is a plan to take us into a place of promise.

Day 48 Of 100 Days: "Five Wilderness Tests" Read: Ex. 15:27, Deut. 28:47, Ex. 16
by Chuck Pierce on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 9:10am

2. Elim: abundant blessing
Their next stop was Elim. Exodus 15:27 reads, "Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees; so they camped there by the waters." Elim was a beautiful place, a place of rest and full provision. Usually when people teach about Israel's testing in the wilderness, they skip right over Elim. But Elim was a test also. This was a different kind of test. Elim wasn't a test based on lack but a test based on God's blessing. After the hot, dry desert and the disappointment at Marah, God brought them to a beautiful place. The test here was, How would they respond to blessing? When God blesses us, He's looking for a response of thankfulness. His goal is that we "serve the Lord your God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything" (Deut. 28:47).

When things were bad, Israel was always quick to complain. Would they be just as quick to praise God with a thankful heart when He blessed them? Again, they failed the test. We read the account of their stay at Elim, and there is no mention of a thankful response.

3. The Wilderness of Sin: no food
Next they came to the Wilderness of Sin. The problem there was a lack of food. By this time, the people should have begun learning about the goodness of God. They should have concluded that they could trust Him to watch over them. But again, they only murmured and complained. Exodus 16 tells us that they came to the Desert of Sin and grumbled against Moses: "If only we had died in Egypt! There we ate all the food we wanted." When they got hungry, suddenly the place of bondage in Egypt didn't look so bad. They quickly forgot that their children had been murdered and they were worked to death! All they remembered was the food. Their problem was that they were looking backward to Egypt instead of looking forward to the promise. In a time of testing, it's important to keep your eyes on the promise. But even though they failed the test, God showed His willingness to provide. He brought them quail in the evening and manna in the morning.

4. Rephidim: no water
Then they came to Rephidim. The problem in Rephidim was that there was no water to drink. So they quarreled with Moses and said, "Give us water to drink." God was again testing them to see if they would trust Him. They had already seen God's ability and power. They had seen that God handled water problems very easily. He turned the Nile to blood and then back to water. He opened the way through the water at the Red Sea then closed it back over the Egyptian armies. He healed the bitter water at Marah. In light of what they had seen, they could have chosen to trust God for water. But instead, they grumbled. But God was gracious and provided for them in spite of their unbelief. God gave water from the rock. In all of these situations, they had a clear choice. They could choose to focus on God's faithfulness and be filled with anticipation, or they could focus on their fear and be filled with anxiety. That kind of testing continued all the way through the wilderness.

5. Rephidim: Amalekites attack
Also at Rephidim, the Amalekites attacked. The Amalekites had been ambushing the stragglers and the weak. (That's still Satan's strategy. He tries to get people isolated. When you are isolated, you become vulnerable. You should always be connected somewhere.) But God again showed His goodness. Moses sent Joshua to lead the army against the

Amalekites. As the battle raged, Moses went into intercession. He climbed to the top of the hill overlooking the battlefield, raised his hands, and prayed. As long as Moses held up his hands in prayer, the Israelites won. But when Moses grew weary and put his hands down, the Amalekites began to win. Aaron and Hur saw that Moses was too weary to keep his hands up, so they got on either side of Moses and held his hands up so he could continue
in prayer. Moses built an altar to the Lord. He proclaimed there the name of Yahweh Nissi-"the Lord, our Banner"-"for hands were lifted up to the throne of the Lord" (Exod. 17:16, niv). Moses was setting an example for the people. He was saying, "You don't have to murmur and complain. You can lift up your hands to the Lord, and He will deliver. He will war with you. He will give you victory. He is a miraculous God and will be your rearguard as well as lead you forward."

Day 49 of 100 Days: Stop and Praise! "The Magnification of the Lord" Read Ps. 34, 1 Cor. 9, Is. 55, Ps. 23
by Chuck Pierce on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 10:38am

We will stop and Praise today! The number 49 is linked with Jubilee and Praise! Let is magnify the Lord as we reach the halfway point of this 100 day focus to unlock harvest for our future.
Chuck D. Pierce

The Bible instructs us to magnify the Lord. Psalm34: 1-3 reads, "I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; the humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together. "Why? It happens because the devil's earthly advertising program has made God small in our eyes. We must make Him large! Magnify Him. How do we do this? One way is to praise Him.

When we feed upon the true Bread of Life, we begin to fill the God-shaped void with God Himself. As this happens, we satisfy the natural desire within us to worship. Paul wrote, "I discipline my body and bring it into subjection" (1 Cor. 9:27). John Dickson admits that he has to tell himself to put down that Twinkie. When he obeys, he begins to taste and see that the Lord is good. Isaiah 55:1-2 reads:
Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance.

God has prepared a table before us in the presence of our enemies (see Ps. 23:5). His Spirit says, "Come." Let us eat. Let us meditate. Let us exercise that which we are obtaining from Him. Let us work out our salvation. Let us praise. Let us worship.

Day 50 of 100 Days: "Go beyond and into the next level of prophetic destiny" Read: John 1, Luke 3:16, Isaiah 40
by Chuck Pierce on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 9:53am

We are now halfway through the intercession of unlocking the doors in the window of heaven that will realign your future and open up the next season for the nation you are apart of. When Abram and his family left the Ur of the Chaldees and advanced toward the destination God was calling him to reach, he and the family settled for a time in Haran. This was halfway to his destination. This is where the Lord met him and gave him the promise fore his future. I want you to start listening to the Lord for His promise for your future as we go through the next 50 days. Now it is time to "go beyond" any place we have ever been before.
Chuck D. Pierce

I believe God is assembling a group who is saying, "We want that place called beyond!" Look at the prophet John. No one has been greater in the earth than this man who prophesied and said, "I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness: make straight the way of the Lord." Do you know what he was saying? He was going all the way back to Isaiah 40, hundreds of years earlier, and was quoting what had been prophesied. That's how God works in our midst. All of a sudden He will have something spoken into your life that has already been said concerning you, maybe even by Great-Grandpa, that you didn't even know was said. It was locked up and stored in the heavens. Then all of a sudden, like the rain and snow, He unlocks it and pours it down. Some of you think it's all about you connecting right now, when it's really about you receiving.

John said, "I baptize with water, but there stands One among you whom you do not know. It is He who, coming after me, is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose" (John 1:26-27). "He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire" (Luke 3:16). In other words, you're receiving a baptism now, but there's one beyond where you presently are.

Here's the problem of getting that new baptism: you are going to have to recognize the Word that is dropping in your path, because that's what the Bible says is lighting your path. Some of you might not have had one prophetic word given over you until God quickened one to you from this book. When you receive a prophecy, that word begins to light your path, even if you were in total darkness before now. That's how the Spirit of God works.

The Spirit of God recently told me this: "You have to come and have a heart to get to know My Son. You have to know Him, because in knowing Him you'll see what I'm like and see what you're like. I sent Him and created you in My image, and by seeing Him and getting to know Him, you can begin to understand Me. But there's more to it than that. You can get to know who My Son was and can even study the Word like the Pharisees did and still not yield your heart to Him." Jesus said to the Pharisees, "You search the Scriptures backward and forward, but you never come to know My Spirit." The Son, who is seated in the heavenly places, who has given His Spirit, says, "You must also know My Spirit and what My Spirit is capable of doing in you, or your spirit will never form properly. If it does not form properly, it will never come into the strength I've ordained for it. It will not be able to strengthen your soul, and you will be unable to ascend in new ways to accomplish My will."

John was saying, "I'm baptizing you one way, but you're going to have to have another one. You have to go beyond this baptism!"

We have a door in Solomon's Porch that accidentally got pulled shut. Unfortunately, there was no key to unlock it, and we've had no access to this room for some time. Pam asked James Vincent if he could find a way to open it so that we would not have to bring out a locksmith. I had James write up what he encountered:

"After Pam asked me to open the door, I wasn't totally sure what to do. However, I have to say that I felt there was no other option but to get the door open! I worked with a variety of tools for some time to separate the door from the jam. Eventually, I was able to force the strike open. With much effort, we got the door open without a key."
This represents what this half way point looks like. The enemy is now starting to resist us moving forward, but what could not be opened to strike forth is now opened!

Day 51 of 100 Days: Going Beyond: "Go beyond your last relational alignment and follow into the new" Read: John 1
by Chuck Pierce on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 10:15am

We will say focused on "going beyond" for the next several days. Let us go beyond in every portion of our lives.
Chuck D. Pierce

If I chose to say, "This year we're going to just teach the fundamentals," you would not want to align with me. This is not what God is saying over these next ten years. You would be foolish to align with me if I did not press into the new. But I say this: In this season we are going to see! It's a season of seeing, and the only way we'll get there is to go beyond where we presently are. You might say, "I knew Him in the last season, in the season called Samekh, but now I'm going to relate to Him in the season called Ayin." That's when you have to make decisions over your relationships. That's what causes wineskins to change. Another wineskin might have presented the Samekh season better than Robert Heidler and I have, but it's no longer that season. If you choose to get in that wineskin, it will have life for about three and a half years, but it won't have the life that will take you through the next ten years. This is what Philip and Andrew told John: "You've been prophesying that this Man can take us beyond, and we're going to go with Him." They did, but John didn't.

Philip and Andrew honored John for going as far as he did, but they shifted that relationship and started forming a new relationship with Jesus for the next season. And the Lord said to them, "Come and see. Just follow along with Me, because you don't have it yet, and I haven't shown it yet. Therefore, all we can really do is to start where we are now, and go beyond. If you two want to go with Me, we can go beyond-together."

Day 52 of 100 Days: Go Beyond: "Go beyond your last understanding of healing" Read: John 9
by Chuck Pierce on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 11:02am

The disciples had gotten to a place where Jesus was teaching them, moving with them, and they began moving into a place of freedom. When I was getting before the Lord over these scriptures, I had this thought: We want the next drink of wine, but not last season's wine. I'm talking about revelation here. We want to enter into a new level of revelation, but we get to a place where we start having problems, because some of us are Word people. We have lots of Word in us. We know the Word of God. We know the statues of the Lord. We've studied it back and forth, and some of us can read it without opening the Bible. But there is a danger. Jesus and the disciples were walking along when they saw a man in his thirties who had been blind from birth (John 9). The disciples asked Jesus, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" (John 9:2).

Jesus said, "Neither one of them." That statement violates everything they knew. He said, "Neither one of them. It is for My glory that I'm doing this, and while there's still light, I'll be doing these things." He healed this blind man, and it surpassed anything the disciples had been taught in the Word. They knew nothing about this aspect of the Word, which had to do with the glory realm beyond where they had ever been.
This can be a huge danger for all of us. We sometimes try counseling, teaching, or attempting to make the blind man understand what a mess he is in, but it has nothing to do with that. Based on our old, methodical understanding, if someone were blind, deliverance ministers might try to deliver that person of generational iniquity or some sin he or she committed, as opposed to just saying, "The reason she's blind is for the glory of the Lord. Just get up!"

Day 53 of 100 Days: Go Beyond: “Mary went beyond her comfort zone. Whatever He says to you, do it” Read: John 2
by Chuck Pierce on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 10:29am

Jesus and the disciples had been invited to a wedding. Jesus’s mother, Mary, was also in attendance, and said to her Son, “The wine has run out for the last season.”

The Son said, “What’s that got to do with Me, woman?” Mary basically told the person in charge of the wedding feast, “Whatever He tells you to do, do it, or we’ll be stuck halfway through this celebration without celebrating the way we’ve come to celebrate.” Remember, Jesus could not do anything unless Father told Him to, and He didn’t see Father doing anything—until Mary prophesied it. The moment Mary prophesied and said, “We have to have wine, and whatever He tells you to do, do it,” Father came into action and told the Son, “Act on that prophecy.”

Some of this was not just God moving. Some of this was God saying, “I’m waiting for you to prophesy something so I can come down and make a shift and so My Spirit can begin to move in a new way.” Go beyond! Mary went beyond her comfort zone. She went beyond her understanding of who Jesus was and activated Him in the earth. Then Father agreed with her, and the manifestation came. The disciples were there with Jesus, and after they saw the manifestation of His glory, they believed in Him (John 2:1–11). He did it so they would believe. He had to take them beyond where they believed. You can’t get into this next season by merely believing the way you do now!

Day 54 of 100 Days: "Go beyond your last duty. Remove all distractions and listen for the wind of Holy Spirit" Read: Luke 10
by Chuck Pierce on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 10:40am

Sometimes the reason Jesus comes to your house is to see how you're moving beyond your duty. He went to Martha's house. It was her house, not Mary's, and Martha had the responsibility for the house. It is important for you to understand you have certain responsibilities, and it's more difficult for you to go beyond in the midst of those responsibilities.

I have responsibilities. I have a book due. After leaving a ministry engagement early one Friday, I could have gotten off the plane and run home and started writing, but I could also hear Linda Heidler saying, "Are you sure you're not forgetting Shabbat this year?" Then I had to make a choice: Would I get distracted with ministry and messages, or would I enjoy Shabbat with my wife? I don't even know what we did. I actually think I just sat and stared-I was such a zombie after a very heavy ministry schedule. That's what happened to Martha. She had responsibility over this house, as well as for the most important person in the region. She wasn't in the old thing but actually was following after the new thing and wanted the new thing to enjoy all the amenities of her home.

Martha's thinking was valid. Most of us think like that. I don't want people coming over to my home with our table messed up. Take note that the Lord pulled aside from what He was doing to deal with her. He might have gotten up and gone into her kitchen (and don't think Jesus can't show up in your kitchen!) and basically said, "Martha, you're missing this thing. You're trying to get the dishes done and keep everything in order because we're at your house, and that's not what I'm about this time. Mary's getting it, and you're mad at Mary now because you're distracted and anxious over Me being here. If you're anxious over what I'm going to be doing, you can't get what I'm going to be doing. Martha, you're going to have to go beyond your responsibility, and not just with the dishes. If you can't lay down the responsibilities for a while, you will miss the moment, and you won't be able to go beyond into the whole season."

Similarly, He is saying to us, "You're going to have to go beyond the responsibility you have for your kids, for your house, for your business. You're going to have to come on in at the right moment and hear Me, because I'm going to give you marching orders over how to be responsible in the next season." Some of us have great responsibilities, inside and outside of the house, but at certain times He says, "If you don't get beyond your day-to-day responsibilities, you will miss what I'm saying. You might be the key to what I am saying and whom I'm saying it to!"

Day 55 of 100 Days: Go Beyond: “You have to go beyond your last drink and believe” Read: John 2
by Chuck Pierce on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 9:19am

I see this with renewals. I’m a renewal person. I can’t think of one renewal I’ve missed since the late sixties. I’ve received abuse from religious structures because I’ve gotten into every one of them. I recently went to Lakeland again. I’ve never spoken against the renewals for any reason. But you have to go beyond your last drink. If you don’t, you’re not going to get the next level of faith and glory that God is trying to show you.

Day 56 of 100 Days: Go Beyond: "Go beyond your last revelation" Read: Matt. 16:13-20
by Chuck Pierce on Monday, November 21, 2011 at 11:19am

Nobody could get more revelation than Peter, but he didn't get it when Andrew brought him to Jesus. A lot of you need to be honest. You don't get it when you first hook in, but you know something's drawing you. Peter started following, but he didn't get it until about two years and eight months into his time with Jesus. Then all of a sudden he got it. He went beyond what he knew, and Father connected with him. Peter said, "I know who you are. You are the Christ, the Messiah; You are the One."
Jesus said, "Only Father could have shown you that," and then He prophesied to him. Peter went beyond but only stayed beyond about ten minutes-and that's legitimate. You can get it when someone is prophesying it on Sunday, but then by Tuesday you're saying, "What was that? Did somebody say something?" It's legitimate. Don't over-judge Peter. Know that you have to go beyond your last revelation.

Day 57 of 100 Days: Go Beyond: "Go beyond your last sifting" Read: Luke 22
by Chuck Pierce on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 12:15pm

Because Peter couldn't get it and keep it, the Lord had to prophesy to him again. Peter had gotten it and received the prophecy for the generations ahead but was then called Satan within fifteen minutes. After that, he had to have another prophecy. No one wants to end on that note. You don't want to end in your mind. Jesus could have said, "Peter, you are so mind-full. Your emotions and your way of thinking are so tangled up in the world that you can't keep your heavenly perspective." Peter had hooked in with Satan's thinking, and Jesus could have continued by saying, "And I'm going to call you his child." So, He had to give Peter another prophecy.

In verse 31, Jesus even reverts to Peter's former name, Simon, because he couldn't keep his new identity. When you can't keep your new identity, you go back to looking like who you were. "And the Lord said, 'Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren" (vv. 31-32). In other words, Jesus could have said, "Peter, you only have one shot at your beyond. You're going to have to strengthen your brothers. If you ever go another way, he has you. Satan asked for you, and I don't have a choice but to give you to him. He is going to sift you like wheat, so everything in you is going to be separated out. But when you come through this place, and you get beyond your sifting, you will strengthen your brothers. It's on the road to beyond."

If you can't keep and secure the revelation God's bringing to you, there is a place called sifting on your road. Basically, Jesus said, "Peter, when you get past this place called sifting, all you can do then is to strengthen your brethren. If you try to go another route, Satan's going to have you." This is why I do what I do.

Day 58 of 100 Days: "Go beyond your understanding of resurrection and the last glory demonstration you've seen" Read: John 11
by Chuck Pierce on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 9:22am

Let's go back to Martha again. She never got past her distractions to get it, even though He told her to. Now, her house (which she was responsible for) had a death in it, and Jesus waited until there was no longer any hope in this house. In other words, He waited until Lazarus was good and dead.
Four days into it, Lazarus had been buried. He was no longer in the house but was stinking, shut up in the grave. When Jesus came, Martha went to him and accused, "If You had been here, this wouldn't have happened." We are always doing this to the Lord, because we continue to look at Him based upon where He has been rather than based upon where He's taking us. Jesus could have said, "Martha, you should have gotten this resurrection thing by now. I love you, your sister, and your brother, and I've been visiting your home for quite a while, but you don't get resurrection." But when Jesus said, "Your brother will rise again," Martha, responded, "I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day."
Then Jesus declared, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live" (John 11:25). In other words, He could have said, "Martha, listen to Me. Resurrection power is in your midst today. You understand resurrection for the future, but you don't get it for today, and I am grieved over it."
Mary came to Jesus and said, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died" (v. 21). Here's the difference between Martha and Mary's statements: Mary fell at His feet and spoke, instead of accusingly yelling at Him on the path. In a nutshell, that's the true difference between Martha and Mary. They each had a distinct personality, and He loved each of the sisters, but one of them knew how to touch Him. And because she knew how to touch Him, He took them both beyond. I think that's the place we're going. Do we really know how to touch Him so we can see Him in a whole new perspective? You know the rest of the story. Mary touched His heart. He removed the rock, the death, the grave clothes, the decay, and a whole new order came. They all saw it. That's the place I hear the Lord asking us if we will go to.

Day 59 of 100 days: "Go beyond your last trauma and death experience" Read: Luke 24
by Chuck Pierce on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at 12:57pm

Be thankful for everything and everyone along your path. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Chuck D. Pierce
We have to see how He took a group beyond the prophecy of a previous season. These believers heard John prophesy in the last season but didn't see the prophecy of the baptism of fire and were seeking after it. "So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void" (Isa. 55:11). John seeded it, and the Lord would open it up at the right time. His Word does not return void.
When Jesus died, it threw them all off, because they couldn't get the prophecies. This is a synopsis of what Jesus told some of them on the road to Emmaus: "If you could have just known the Scriptures, you could have gotten this, but you couldn't see beyond the trauma and what you expected to happen."
This is one reason that I admire my wife so much. When she was still barren, the Lord gave her a promise that she would have twins. She had twins, and after they died she said, "I'll go beyond this. I don't know how I'll go beyond, but I'll go beyond it."
I asked her, "Does this mean we'll have twins again?" She answered, "No, it's a new season. But I will see beyond into a new season where what that word truly means has manifested." That's what the men on the road to Emmaus couldn't do. He'll take you beyond your last trauma and death experience and open your eyes into a realm that you couldn't see or understand from the old place you were in.
That's also what happened to my friend Marty Cassady in the tent on our land for the Head of the Year gathering in 2009. The Lord reached down into the tent and touched her because she had been surrounded by death for fifteen years. He took her beyond all that.
He says to us, "I can put you into a place called abundance, into a place called life, where you're seeing into a realm you've never seen before. Let Me take you past the death of that child . . . Let Me take you past the loss in that relationship . . . Let Me take you past the loss of that business . . . Let Me take you past the loss that you've experienced and take you into a new realm."

Day 60 of 100 Days: Go beyond your last ability to fear and forgive Read: John 20
by Chuck Pierce on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 1:41pm

In John 20, after Jesus died, those things He said began to manifest. On the first day of the week, the disciples were all together, because they thought all they had left was each other. There are times when all you have left to walk with are those whom God has given you. I want to end up with those He's given me. Remember, He prophesied that. He said, "I won't lose one of you who truly wants to follow after Me."
The disciples locked the door because they believed that the same ones who killed Jesus would come and kill them (v. 19). They were filled with fear. The door was locked, they were assembled, and Jesus came and stood in the midst of them, saying, "Peace be with you." He came through a closed, locked door. Are you aware that even if you lock yourself away He can still come in and say, "We can go beyond this place"? He can say to us, "You might think this is where you're going to hide out, but I am going to come right on through, into that locked-up place you have sequestered yourself in, trying to become a nun or a monk. I will find you and bring you right out again, because I want you to go beyond. There is no need to try to isolate yourself in a season of seeing, because I'll make you so miserable in that place that you'll get sick of everything you're seeing there. It will cause you to say, 'I've got to get out of here.' Your identity is not in that hidden place."
He showed up in the room the disciples were hiding in and said, "I'm taking you beyond your last ability and where fear is gripping you." Are you aware that the fear you're engulfed in is related to what you're capable of doing? Some of your fear is because you're relying upon yourself to pull things off, and you can't do it. He said to them, "Let Me bring you past that fear, and let Me commission you to go and forgive." That was the only way they could move forward, and the same holds true for us. You won't get to your beyond unless you can get past the signpost called forgiveness. You have to get past sifting, fear, and forgiveness, and then you can go beyond.

Day 61 of 100 Days: "Go beyond the last understanding of your call" Read: John 21
by Chuck Pierce on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 11:21am

This is the hardest one. The disciples went beyond, but then they went right back to what they used to do. Are you aware that's a very dangerous place for all of us right now? We're faced with the choice of going beyond where we've been or going back to the season from three and a half years ago. The disciples went back to fishing. They took up their business again. But Jesus met them in the business! Don't be deceived or get into the religious lie that you can't prosper if you are not doing what you're supposed to be doing. He can prosper you even when you're not doing what you're supposed to be doing. He can allow you to prosper. He helped His disciples prosper in their business.
After they recognized Him and had eaten breakfast, Jesus talked with Peter. It could have gone something like this: "Peter, let's talk about your call. Remember, I let Satan sift you. Do you feel like you've been sifted enough, or do you want to go to round two?" That's what He was saying. Peter had one shot at moving beyond, but Jesus would have let him stayin the fishing business. He would also have let him be sifted again. When Jesus asked Peter, "Do you love Me?" Peter answered, "Yes, Lord."
Jesus said, "But do you really love Me?" Peter answered, "Yes, Lord." Jesus asked again, "But do you really love Me?" Peter answered, "Lord, only You know that." Peter had answered every question in what he thought was the right way, and he'd done this before and still ended up in a mess. Jesus could have said to Peter, "If you do love Me, do you remember that prophecy I gave saying that you would be sifted like wheat and then you'd have to strengthen your brothers? You're going to have to go back into your call. You'll have to go beyond your last three and a half years and into a new type of call."
You would think Peter would have fallen on his face and said, "Here I am, Lord!" But what he actually said was, "What's going to happen with John?" Jesus answered him and basically said, "What is that to you? I'm asking you if you will go beyond." Jesus was not talking about shirking responsibility but was asking this: "Will you keep following Me, even if they decide not to?"

Day 62 of 100 Days: "Go beyond your last place of repentance" Read: Acts 2, Isa. 55
by Chuck Pierce on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at 7:54am

Between Jesus's death and Pentecost, Peter finally repented. He finally turned over all of his thoughts. That's what he didn't do when he had the first revelation of who Jesus really was. You can come to a revelation of who Jesus is but never turn over your way of thinking. Peter turned over his way of thinking, and in the midst of it, he came out differently. He came out beyond his sifting, beyond his fear, beyond his unforgiveness, and beyond his thinking (Isa. 55). He came out beyond the last prophecy and into a place called new. Then God fell on him, and the Spirit came down. Peter multiplied three thousand times over and came into a place called abundance because his thinking process had shifted. He was no longer in the place he once was.

Day 63 of 100 Days: "Go beyond your present connections" Read: Acts 10
by Chuck Pierce on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 10:34am
During Peter's process, God was working on other people. He was working on a Gentile, Cornelius, and Gentiles weren't even supposed to be worked on. But He's God. Isaiah prophesied He would work on Gentiles, and hundreds of years later, He was doing it! He said to Cornelius, "You're going to meet with Peter." If Cornelius had protested, not wanting to meet with those crazy people, the Lord could have said, "But Cornelius, I'm working on you!" The Lord took Cornelius past his present connections because he went beyond all the issues along his path, and God could bring in a new connection. Peter had already been worked on, even by the devil, and was almost ready for this new Gentile connection. Peter was almost at that place called beyond.

Day 64 of 100 Days: "Go beyond your present legal, religious condition" Read: Acts 10
by Chuck Pierce on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 10:47am

Meanwhile Peter, praying up on a housetop, got good and hungry. He was so hungry that in the midst of his hunger, God gave him a vision and then spoke to him. God told Peter that a man on whom He had been working for a little while, a gentile was coming to meet him. Peter might have had a few hesitations about meeting this man, who was known to his religious mind-set as unclean. This is one of our real issues. In the last season, the church came full circle, but today we're trying to be so clean we are not completely sure God can bring our divine connections to us.
What God did in the vision was lower a sheet filled with things that Peter knew from Leviticus as forbidden and unclean-things he should not even touch. The Lord said to Peter, "Rise, Peter; kill and eat" (Acts 10:13). Peter answered, "Not so, Lord! For I have never eaten anything common or unclean" (v. 14).
After Peter thought about the vision a while, the Lord told Peter He was bringing people into his life in his last season who were unclean, and he would have to be with them if he was to do what God was calling him to do. Peter had to get past all his legalistic constraints and the way the Word was given to him in that other season, because those the Lord was bringing to him didn't know anything about the Word or those constraints. If Peter couldn't kill and eat the animals in the vision, he would judge those whom the Lord was bringing to him.
God wasn't telling Peter to sin but was telling him he had to go beyond his sight and form of worship. The Lord could have said to Peter, "I'm going to bring some new people into your worship system who will change your whole way of worshiping in the future. Peter, if you don't get past this vision, you won't get into My new structure."
Peter probably said, "Oh, my," and thought about the vision within himself before he finally got it. He then had the dubious task of telling the followers of the risen Jesus about the new structure and explained how they also were going to have to shift. It wasn't the Pharisees he was going to be dealing with but the other disciples. He was going to have to tell the other eleven, "You have to make a shift, or we will miss it."
Some of you have been pressing to get it, but now you're going to get it. Like Peter, we could say, "Lord, I've been through enough to know I don't want to go back through it again." Peter had even seen His Spirit fall like fire and the manifestation of the second word. With Peter, we must all say, "Lord, I'm willing to get past a lot of the narrow thinking I've had so I can bring others in. Lord, keep me focused; take me into a new place. Take me beyond. Take me into the place for this new season!"

Day 65 of 100 Days: "Draw from the well within you"
by Chuck Pierce on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 10:44am

Let us draw from the well that dwells in all of us! Make these decrees today!
Chuck D. Pierce
"Now is the time for the deposit, the reserve that I have put in My people, to come forth and come up." If you feel depleted or lack the reserve necessary to overcome your circumstances, know this: We have entered a time in which the Spirit of God is drawing forth from us more of that mighty reserve that He has placed in us. He is now moving on your behalf to bring forth your spiritual reserve. It is in you if the Spirit of God is in you. It is time for us to declare to the reserve in us to "come forth and come up."
1. "I am changing the way I do deliverance. In the past season I restored My people's fractured identities by closing up the fractures. In this season I am opening up the fractures to recover and release the reserve."
2. "What the enemy sought to capture, I am recovering. I am bringing forth the oil from the fractures."
We must realize that as God increases the pressure that will release our reserve, the enemy will try to convince us that God is allowing us to be traumatized again. It will be important that we see this lie for what it is. God is opening the fractures wrought by the enemy so that He can bring forth our spiritual reserves. This is a season when we must invite the Lord to turn up the pressure to bring it forth.

Day 66 Of 100 Days: "See Past a Spirit of Poverty" Read: Prov. 11:24, Gen. 45
by Chuck Pierce on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 1:29pm

The church is in an incredible season of change, and I believe we are all sensing those changes in us and around us. I can hear the Lord saying to us, "What you seed will begin to produce great fruit." There is a grace for our offerings to multiply-thirtyfold to a hundredfold-if we are obedient with what we have been given to steward. We can gain victory through giving in order to break the curse of robbing God in our generational bloodline. This is a time to bud! Our giving returns in multiplied form. Everything that we have seeded we can see multiply, blossom, and bud! Proverbs 11:24 says, "There is one who scatters, yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty."
One cycle that I feel we must break is linked to the spirit of poverty. In a materialistic society, this spirit tends to blind us from seeing the will of God. We must declare victory over the spirit of poverty! This spirit has violated God's perfect order and produced instability in many individuals. I feel that the Lord is saying that we need to take a violent and passionate stand on behalf of the body of Christ concerning this spirit-that we must press through difficulties and storms to force an atmospheric change.
Poverty creates an atmosphere. This spirit encircles you or your sphere of authority to create lack. No matter how much this spirit attempts to find a foothold in your life, this atmosphere can be invaded with the atmosphere of blessing and glory from heaven. We can see His glory in our lives. Noah found favor in His eyes. The heavens and earth realigned during his day. We can find favor, and heaven can come into our atmosphere and defeat poverty. Glory and wealth are synonymous.
The body of Christ needs to see restoration in our provision! Restoration is always linked with multiplication. Debt and past financial defeats in our lives need to reverse. A spirit of poverty that has held our generational bloodlines in captivity, keeping us from the fullness of the prosperity that God has for us, must be broken. The Lord is breaking begging off His people. He is making us a people of faith. He will change the identity of His people from beggars to kings! Ask Him to reveal poverty now. See how poverty works in your life.
In Joseph's life, in Genesis 45:11, we find that God said, "There I will provide for you, lest you and your household, and all that you have, come to poverty; for there are still five years of famine." Many individuals are afraid of leaving the familiar to receive their provision for the future. The famine in Canaan created a move to Egypt for all of God's covenant people. Egypt was not the promise, but was the necessary place of provision for a season.

Day 67 of 100 Days: "A Time To Be Healed" Read: Prov. 18:14
by Chuck Pierce on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 11:07am

This was an eye-opening statement for me. I knew that I still had a place of brokenness in my spirit that needed healing. I fell before the Lord and began to ask Him how to break this generational iniquity of infirmity that was linked with the trauma of loss that I had experienced. Since that time, the Lord has led me on a journey of understanding how trauma affects our DNA and weakens our spirit. One verse that has become a life verse for me is Proverbs 18:14: "The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, but who can bear a broken spirit?" A broken spirit occurs when life's difficulties crush our abilities to resist. Jesus came to heal our bodies. However, we find that His desire for us is that we become whole in body, soul, and spirit. When the Lord showed me the power of trauma, I could see how my past was continuing to hold this infirm spirit in place.
There are many ways to follow the Lord into healing. There are many methods and faith acts. However, I believe that to be whole, one must find the root cause of his/her infirmity and then press through into the process of wholeness. During my time of infirmity, I had to make a choice to follow the Lord to Nigeria. Dr. C. Peter Wagner was leading a gathering there with key apostolic leaders from the nation. I always serve Peter whenever he requests me to be somewhere, but the thought of traveling to Nigeria in my condition was difficult to reconcile. This would also require some yellow fever shots. With me reacting to everything, the thought of this was somewhat overwhelming. I went first to my wife and counseled with her. She reminded me that earlier in the year I had come to her and excitedly told her that the Lord was asking me to go to Nigeria. I said, "But what if I have a reaction in Nigeria?"
She asked, "But didn't the Lord say for you to go to Nigeria?"
I confirmed with a yes.
She said, "Then go."
I said, "What if I die from a reaction?"
She said, "If the Lord is telling you to go to Nigeria and you die, that would be where the Lord has planned for you to die!"
I thought to myself, "This woman is way too practical for me!"
Peter also encouraged me to go. He even said, "Because of how the power of God is moving in Nigeria, perhaps you will get healed." Pam was right. He was right. I overcame my fear of going to a foreign nation while I was ill. I went to Nigeria, and during a prayer meeting (of ten thousand people) the Spirit of God came. When Communion was served, those who were sick were invited to come forward. I was the first in line. When I participated, I felt a curse of infirmity leave my body.
With all disorders, we must seek the help of the Holy Spirit for wisdom. There are times when a person is in such a state of depression or agitation that he or she is unable to receive ministry until medication is administered. I have dealt with people who refused medication because they believed it meant they didn't have faith. I have talked with ministers who refused to minister deliverance to someone who was on medication because it was mind altering. If it is altering the mind to be able to think coherently and focus, then they should be allowed to receive ministry. The good news is that there is help for people with emotional and mental problems. Look for the cycles and be prepared to break them. God can break through any structure and start mending your broken spirit. Ask Him to show you how trauma is affecting your ability to see the future!

Day 68 of 100 Days: "See Your Way Into Wealth" Read: John 1; Gen. 13:2; 26:12-14; 30: 43, 32:5; I Kings 10; Amos 2:6; Deut. 8
by Chuck Pierce on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 10:35am

We are in an era of seeing and establishing our future. During this time, the promises of God are extended from one generation to another. We are being called to worship in a new way and develop a memorial through our giving.
In Jacob's quest as he fled from Esau, he traveled three days to Bethel. That night he took one of the stones to rest against as he slept, and God gave him a vision of a ladder (or staircase, as some translate it) from heaven to Earth.

John 1 explains that the ladder symbolizes Jesus Christ. Jacob was unaware of God being near him. Many of us in our journey of life are unaware of how close the Lord is to us to save us from all of our messes and manipulations. He opens heaven for us and brings heaven's blessings to our lives. He alone can take us to heaven. We can then see our way into a new dimension of wealth. Jacob thought he was in a lonely wilderness but discovered that he had been at the very gate of heaven. Although Jacob still had some scheming about him, he offered God a tithe of everything he had if He would be with him on his journey ahead and bring him into the fullness of his destiny.

We have been given the power to get wealth and riches. Wealth is an abundance of possessions or resources. During the times of the patriarchs, wealth was measured largely in livestock-sheep, goats, cattle, donkeys, and camels. This was true of Abraham (Gen. 13:2), Isaac (Gen. 26:12-14), and Jacob (Gen. 30:43; 32:5). People of the ancient world also measured wealth in terms of land, houses, servants, slaves, and precious metals. The prime example was King Solomon, whose great wealth is described in 1 Kings 10:14-29. The power to get wealth is a key to our covenant advancement (Deut. 8).

Never forget wealth comes from God! The prophet Amos thundered against the rich and prosperous inhabitants of Israel, who sold "the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of sandals" (Amos 2:6). Their wealth was corrupt and under a curse because it was founded on exploitation of the poor. Wealth and money are two different things. Many times we look at how much money we have, and that determines our faith level. When we see the balance in our bank account, we experience anxiety or our faith rises up. Money can be a great tool for bartering and advancing, or the love for money can be the root of all evil.
By contrast, riches means, "receiving the grace of the Holy Spirit to enable us to accomplish what we are called to accomplish." A person's gift is linked into the concept of wealth. Riches are linked with accumulation, or what we have amassed. A stewardship plan is devised from our riches. The more we steward our riches properly, the more we will receive. This is not just a money issue. God is looking for people who will shift in their stewardship so that He can release a transfer of wealth.

Look up! See your provision in a new way. See your wealth in a new way. See your money supply in new way. See how to take what you have and multiply it. See your increase in assignment.

Day 69 of 100 Days: "The War to See Poverty Break" Read: 1 Tim. 6, 2 Tim, 2:3-4, Eph. 6, Matt. 10, Rev. 3:21, Exod. 12:51

by Chuck Pierce on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 4:42pm

If you are sent to war but lose the battle, you wear a reproach until you gain a subsequent victory. Many in the body are afraid to war, but war is necessary in order to conquer our enemies and take possession of what has been promised to us. War is receiving grace to fight. (See 1 Timothy 6:12; 2 Timothy 2:3-4.) War is receiving the necessary armor for victory (Eph. 6:11-17). War produces an opportunity for us to enter into victory (Rev. 3:21).

The Lord used armies to bring His people out of Egypt (Exod. 12:51) with a trumpet sound and a battle cry. Later He brought them out with the ark, the presence of God (1 Sam. 4:5-6). He used forces of nature when necessary to help them defeat their enemies (Josh. 10). God always releases strategies that enable us to plunder the enemy's holdings, to prosper, and to stand. (See Matthew 10; Ephesians 6.) He has a banner of victory over us. While Jehovah Nissi puts a banner over us to cover us, the Lord Sabaoth sends the hosts of heaven to help us. He is God of the armies of Earth (1 Sam. 17:45) and God of the unseen armies of angels (1 Kings 22:19). He is the Lord of the armies (Rom. 9:29). He already has victory for you! See your victory over poverty.

We must hear how poverty speaks and then operate in the opposite spirit. We are required to combat poverty by being kind and generous to others. Just as Boaz allowed Ruth to glean in field, we combat poverty by allowing people to glean in our vineyard and provide them with access to our excess (Ruth 2). We combat poverty by developing strategies to help those who have been ravaged by systemic poverty. In other words, we help others gain wisdom on how to break out of the system that Satan is using to hold them captive financially. We are also required to develop reaping strategies (Amos 9:13). When we do this, we overcome, and our increase will go from multiplication to multiplication

Give your way out of poverty. See your path and cycle of prosperity. As children there were several Bible passages that many of us were taught. Psalm 23 was one that we memorized and used for comfort in distress and affliction. However, most of us never realized that this psalm really says, "I will lead you in your path of prosperity through paths of righteousness for My name's sake" (author's paraphrase).

In Hebrew, the word for "path" is `agol, which means "to be round or a cycle." The Lord guides us in the cycles of righteousness. The enemy hates the thought of us staying on a path of righteousness because he knows that we will see the fullness of God's plan for our lives. God already has our path of prosperity in place. This path or cycle is linked with the yearly return received from the feasts of Yahweh.

The Hebrew word chag, or "festival," means "to make a cycle." If we understand the feasts, then we understand cycles. We can be led properly, begin to prosper, move into abundance, and have no lack when we stay in the timing of God. "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want because He leads me in the cycle of prosperity. I will see my blessings wherever I walk. Even through the valley of the shadow of death, I can celebrate Him and not get out of time and see my blessings!" Robert Heidler's book The Messianic Church Arising explains God's feasts. By understanding the timing of the feasts, you go from harvest to harvest until increase becomes a way of life. The feasts are also prophetic in nature. You go from Passover to Pentecost to Tabernacles. This is the same cycle that the church is in from season to season.

Day 70 of 100 Days: "Tear Down The High Places" Read: 2 Kings 22, 23
by Chuck Pierce on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 7:07pm

These last 30 days are so important we stay focused. God is calling us to go higher than the high places of the earth! Josiah will be our example here.
Chuck D. Pierce

Josiah tore down the high places. Josiah then did many physical acts within his sphere of influence to see the throne of iniquity overturned. Among the things he did were:
· He burned the articles made for Baal and Asherah (2 Kings 23:4).
· He removed the idolatrous priests who had been burning incense to Baal and to the sun and to the moon and to the stars (2 Kings 23:5).
· He burned the idol of Asherah which had been placed in the temple (2 Kings 23:6)
· He tore down the houses where the temple prostitutes had been located (2 Kings 23:7).
· He destroyed the pagan altars placed on the rooftops (2 Kings 23:12).
· He confronted high-ranking demonic spirits such as Ashtoreth, Chemosh, and Milcom (2 Kings 23:13).
· He wiped out idolatrous high places and executed the priests who would not repent (2 Kings 23:19-20).
· He punished any one who had consulted with mediums or spiritists (2 Kings 23:24).

Years back, Robert and I came across a man that was so demonized. I commanded the demon to say his name. He yelled out "Ashtoreth!" I have confronted this demon before. When Robert and I commanded the demon to come out of this man, this whole region began to shift. When God shows you the root of the stronghold in your region, do not be afraid to deal with it in this season!

Day 71 of 100 Days: "Understanding the Origin of Your Enemy" Read: 1 Cor. 15:24; Isa. 14:12-15; 24:21; 34:4; Lev.11; Deut. 14
by Chuck Pierce on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 1:18pm

This is a season where we must go back to where the enemy gained access and dethrone him!
Chuck D. Pierce

In The Warfare with Satan, Jessie Penn-Lewis states, "Before we can understand the meaning of the urgent call to overcome, sent to His people by the Risen Lord through His Apostle John, it is necessary that we should see something of the prince of darkness and his kingdom. Our first question must be: who is the prince of darkness and where did he come from? The Scriptures give but veiled glimpses of his origin and home. The purpose of Scripture is more expressly to reveal God an His Christ as the Redeemer of men, the history of the redeemed from the fall of Adam in Eden, the way of salvation through the cross, and the eternal destiny of God's children - when the Christ shall have 'abolished all rule and all authority and power' (1 Cor. 15:24) contrary to the reign of God, and God Himself shall be All in All. It is generally understood that the prophet Isaiah referred primarily to the adversary of God and man when he said 'How art thou fallen from heaven, O day star, son of the morning! … thou said in thine heart … I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will be like the Most High. Yet thou shall be brought down to hell, to the uttermost parts of the pit' (Isa. 14:12-15; 24:21 and 34:4)."

Most of us first think of our enemy as a serpent. That's normal because the first time we see him speaking in the Bible is when he is using a serpent's body. In his book, Powers of Darkness, Clinton Arnold shares, "The scene in the garden is the classic portrayal of Satan's character as the tempter - a motif found throughout the New Testament, especially in Paul's treatment of the powers of darkness. This narrative does not reveal the devil as a spirit or angel, but his supernatural character comes to light for the reader when he animates a snake causing it to talk. The snake represented an 'archetypal unclean animal' in the law of God (see Lev. 11 and Deut. 14). This passage marks the beginning of salvation history. It establishes the need for the redemption of humanity because of the Fall. It points to the devil's activity in promoting sin and rebellion against God and consequently to the need for this evil being to be dealt a crushing blow for God's purposes to be brought to completion (Gen. 3:15)." I am hoping in this chapter that you begin to get revelation over how to run a better race -- very determined to reach the finish line.

Day 72 of 100 Days: "Uncovering The Enemy That's Hidden"
by Chuck Pierce on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 11:37am

When you begin to diligently seek the Lord, the enemy becomes threatened. He knows that if you ever get comfortable in your abiding place with God, you will move forward in your destiny and liberate many others. He knows that if you get used to going in and out of the Throne Room, you will be used mightily by God to overthrow the wiles that he has established in your sphere of authority. Therefore, he must discourage and stop you. If he can cause fear, that will be his tactic. However, the closer you get to the Lord and the more you yield your life to Him, the more that seems to be uncovered for a season. The enemy relies upon hidden factors in your blood or bloodline to get you off center from your purpose and cause your hope to be deferred. For the next few days we will focus on this so you can detect the enemy's ways when they seem hidden.

Have you ever known something was wrong, but you just could not put your finger on the issue? Have you ever seemed troubled and can't really grasp what you are sensing? Have you ever had anxiety or even panic rise up in you and not be sure where the root of the fear is originating? Have you ever felt like there is destruction on the path ahead of you, yet, you are not sure if you are operating in fear or having some sort of discernment? Have you hated sin, but then find yourself mysteriously being drawn to that which you hate? Do you almost have victory and then find your self in hopelessness? Are you depressed for no certain reason? Do you have a tendency toward a certain besetting sin? Do you feel like you have no resistance? If so, this is evidence of the enemy working in secret against you.

Day 73 of 100 Days: "The Enemy Prowls and Lies in Wait!" Read: Luke 4; 2 Cor. 11:14; Eph. 6:11; 1 Tim. 3:7; 2 Tim. 2:26
by Chuck Pierce on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 10:46am

In our spiritual life we find that timing is everything. God is not in time like we are in time. He is Sovereign. However, He wants us to respond to Him out of time. For instance Jesus came to redeem mankind. This was at the perfect time for the fall of man to be redeemed and reconciled. After Jesus was baptized, He was led into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit. We have talked about the power of temptation. Jesus, who was God and Man, had come to earth to defeat the works of the enemy. By the power of the Spirit He was called to resist Satan and every temptation that would be known to man. You can read this account in Luke 4. However, we see another issue worth mentioning. Luke 4:13 says, "Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time." In other words, Satan was saying: "I could not overcome you here by the tactics I have tempted you with on your path, so I will wait until I find another way and a perfect time to stop you".

"Satan disguises himself as an angel of light" (2 Cor. 11:14). That is why we must put on "the whole armor of God" (Eph. 6:11). This makes us able to stand against the wiles of the devil. He plans and plots so that on our path he devises "the snare of the devil" (1 Tim. 3:7; 2 Tim. 2:26). This tells us that we must stay on alert so the Light of Word illuminates our path. If you remain "firm in your faith" (1 Pet. 5:9) with offensive, persevering opposition, you will always uncover the enemy's plan. James says, "Resist the devil and he will flee from you" (Jas. 4:7). One of my favorite scriptures is "give no opportunity to the devil" (Eph. 4:27). Even though he is looking for a more opportune time to overthrow us, we do not have to give him that opportunity. Rather, we must allow the Holy Spirit to go deep within us to uncover the "hidden' things that could cause us to be ensnared. The blind spots we have are very dangerous. They can cause us not to see the snares on our path.

Day 74 of 100 Days: "A Blind Spot"
by Chuck Pierce on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 10:32am

I can still remember the eye doctor telling me, "You have a blind spot." A blind spot? What could that mean? The previous week my wife, Pam, and I had attended a Bill Gothard Seminar on Youth Conflicts. The weeklong gathering was well attended and filled the auditorium in Houston. We would listen to the teaching via a large screen at the front of the arena. At the beginning of that week I could see just fine. Yet by the end of the week I could not see the screen at all. Because I had a demanding job and was constantly reading, I just assumed I had strained my eyes. Still, I knew God was doing something major in me. The Lord had already dealt with me on an issue that I had been unwilling to face and see in light of His Word. My wife had pointed out one area in my life that she felt I really needed to allow the Holy Spirit to work on and show me the truth in. You know you hate it when your spouse points out your spiritual weakness, and constantly defend why you are the way you are. However, I sensed the Spirit of God revealing truth to me in this one area of my past that needed confronting. But this was just the beginning!

When I visited the ophthalmologist on Monday, it was as if my life went into a whirlwind. He showed me the test results and there was a huge portion of my vision that was being blocked. He called this a blind spot. A blind spot is the small area that is insensitive to light in the retina of the eye where the optic nerve enters. Another definition of blind spot is a person's lack of sensitivity to a particular thing. A blind spot can be a prejudice or ignorance over a subject. Yet the person is unaware that this is within them. I knew the Lord was going to work to uncover what was hidden. I was diagnosed as either having a tumor on my optic nerve or a blood clot that was pressing on the nerve and blocking my vision. Either way, this seemed to be a serious enough diagnosis for the doctors to want to move me quickly into the hospital for further testing. Little did I know that God had planned a week of deliverance. This week turned into a year. The year turned into a process of 10 years. The 10 years resulted in a testimony of freedom.

Day 75 of 100 Days: "Breaking Out of Desolation" Read Daniel 9
by Chuck Pierce on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 8:09am

Its day 75 and you're still alive! If you're still here and you are reading this that means you qualify for the future! Let us break completely out of desolation for the next few days. Decree that the next few days the doors of heaven linked with blessings will open and flood away any desolation in your life! This is a season of fulfillment.
Chuck D. Pierce

In the natural cycle of life, there are seasons. Some seasons are filled with desolation, but in those times we can take comfort in knowing that every season has a time frame. There is a time when desolation ends and prophetic fulfillment begins. Those seasons in our lives are now times-times of prophetic fulfillment when God's promises are manifested.

In his tremendous book God's Timing for Your Life, Dutch Sheets writes:
Life is a series of changes-a process of going from the old to the new-from chronos [a general process of time] to kairos [an opportune, strategic, or now time]. Growth, change, revival-all are processes. Life is connected. Not understanding this, we tend to despise the chronos times of preparing, sowing, believing and persevering. . . . We're not losing or wasting time, we're investing it. And if we do so faithfully, the shift will come.
In Daniel 9, we see a biblical example of a desolation season coming to an end so that a season of prophetic fulfillment could begin. Israel had been in captivity in Babylon for 70 years and was still in bondage when Daniel began reading the prophecies of Jeremiah: "In the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem" (v. 2). As Daniel read, he suddenly understood that there was a prophecy given many years before and that now was the time for the prophecy to be fulfilled. The 70 years of desolation that Jeremiah had prophesied had been completed and the time had come to break out of captivity.

God always has now times in our lives. Daniel knew that it was time for this word to be fulfilled and for captivity to end. We, like Daniel, also need to come to a place in which we understand God's time sequence. I know that in my own life, when it is time for a season of desolation to end, I want it done and its effects off of me. And once I get out of it, I don't want to turn back. That's the attitude we need to have in moving forward into prophetic fulfillment. We need to be in close enough relationship with God so that we know when to start into a new sequence and a new cycle of life. We need to know when it is time to cast off our desolation and move into a new season.

"Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes" (v. 3). As Daniel came to an understanding that the times were changing and that Israel needed to break out of captivity, he did two things: He turned to God and dialogued with Him through prayer and supplications, and he began to deny himself through fasting so that all desolation could be broken. By doing these two things, he reconciled himself with God and, as a representative of Israel, broke out of the season of desolation. This allowed the process to begin for the Israelites to break out of captivity and move into their future.

Through His promises to us, God is breaking off desolation personally, corporately and territorially-and hell hates it. Any time that we are getting ready to break forth into a new season of prophetic fulfillment, Satan will oppose us and try to keep us in the desolation of the past. There is a three-step process for us to be aware of as we move out of desolation toward now times in our lives. We will focus on these steps the next few days.

Day 76 of 100 Days: Breaking out of Desolation: "God Gives an Intercessory Call" Read: Ez. 22; Heb. 7:25
by Chuck Pierce on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 7:23pm

As was the case with Daniel, God often first releases an intercessory burden in our lives. A burden is a deep impression of God's heart and will within our spirit. This burden feels like a weight or a stirring within us that is so strong that we must respond to God so that change can come into our lives or environment. This is how intercession begins.

Intercession always proceeds what God is doing to break desolation from our lives. Prophetic fulfillment is a continuing process. In other words, all that God has done, even in the midst of the desolation season, has a purpose and will work together to move us into what He has for us in our new place. Dutch Sheets writes:
God wants to shift our thinking from becoming discouraged during these times to realizing the necessity of chronos seasons. . . . Knowing that we are cooperating with God and giving Him what He needs to bring the new, we can rejoice over, rather than despise, small beginnings.

We need to get in line with what God is doing and connect ourselves with it for our now season. We need to respond to the prompting of the Holy Spirit to align ourselves with God's mind and connect with His heart so that we can move forward. This can only happen by communicating with a holy, sovereign God. As we come into agreement with God through His intercessory call to us, He will propel us out of our desolate circumstances and move us into prophetic fulfillment.
In Ezekiel 22, God was ready to restore the people of Judah. In verses 23-29, God describes how the priests had been unholy, the prophets had been conspirators, the government officials had been like ravenous wolves, and the people had fallen into divination. Nevertheless, in verse 30, God says that if He can find one person who will make a wall and stand in the gap before Him on behalf of the land, He will reverse everything the prophets, priests and government officials had done wrong. He even promised to reverse the sinful corruption into which the people had fallen. He would do all of this if He could just find someone to meet with Him.

Intercession is defined as reaching or meeting someone to pressure them strongly to change a situation. Hebrews 7:25 states of Jesus, "Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them." Christ is available to us to make intercession for us. This is what an intercessory call is all about. The Spirit of God will co-labor with us and reveal our plan of escape and the way out of desolation. But we must be willing to pray. We must be willing to meet with God until we gain strategy for moving forward and then take a stand against the enemy who would seek to keep us bound in desolation. If we do this, God will not only break us out of our desolation, but He will also bring us out of whatever corruption we may have fallen into in our place of desolation. He will cleanse, renew and restore us to a place of communion with Him.

Day 77 of 100 Days: Breaking out of desolation: "God Revives Unfulfilled Prophetic Destiny" Read: Jer. 25:11
by Chuck Pierce on Monday, December 12, 2011 at 12:27pm

As we come into agreement with God through intercession, He often reminds us of His plan of prophetic destiny. Daniel discovered this when he had to go back 70 years to find out what God had promised the people of Israel. The prophet Jeremiah had prophesied that the whole land would go into desolation and serve the King of Babylon for 70 years (see Jer. 25:11). As Daniel received the prayer burden from God, he was able to understand this word that Jeremiah the prophet had spoken. It was now time for the power of desolation to be broken and for restoration to begin!
That's how it is with us many times. Some of our grandparents and great grandparents had incredible prophetic destinies that were never realized. We need to understand how their prophetic inheritance became captive to the enemy. We also need to understand how the generational blessings of God have not been fulfilled.

I had to come to an understanding of unfulfilled prophetic destiny in my own life by watching my father. My father was a man who had a great deal of potential. However, he made bad choices. The path he chose for himself had corruption and defilement. Instead of glorifying God, his path ended with him dying a premature death. His destiny was never fulfilled.

God has created each one of us to reflect His glory. When we understand our identity in Him and begin to come into the fullness of that identity, His glory is seen through us. The absence of His glory indicates a curse. A curse working in our life brings desolation and postponement to the fulfillment of His promises. By seeing the mess that my father had made of his own life, and even by being abused by his hand, I could have said, "O woe is me, look at what my father did." Instead I found myself saying, "Look at what my father could have been. Look at what he could have accomplished had he allowed God to bring him into His ultimate plan for his life. Look at what should have been."

The Lord even once revealed to me the overwhelming love that He had for my earthly father. When I saw how much God loved him and what an incredible plan He had for my father's life, I immediately said, "Lord, let me not only come into the fullness of my own life, but let me accomplish the things that were meant for my father in his generation that were sent astray by his alignment with the enemy." I have learned, that prophetic destiny is often tied to the generations of our families. I therefore want to be sure that I somehow complete what God has intended for my bloodline. I need to become successful where there has been failure in my family. I need to overcome the enemy where others in my bloodline have not withstood him. To have prophetic fulfillment in our own lives, we need to allow the Lord to revive the unfulfilled prophetic destiny in our family line and give us a success mentality of completion and fulfillment.

Day 78 of 100 Days: Breaking out of desolation: "God Calls Us to Prophesy into Our Destiny" Read: Ps. 110
by Chuck Pierce on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 10:10am

As hard as it is for many to believe, God has chosen to use us as a necessary link to bring His will to Earth. He calls us to come into dialogue with Him, listen to His voice and gain prophetic revelation so that the hope of our calling can be fulfilled. He asks us to take that revelation and prophesy it into the earthly realm.
This action of declaring prophetic revelation is called prophetic intercession. Barbara Wentroble states, "Prophetic intercession is one type of prayer that unlocks miracles and releases the blessings of God. . . . The Body of Christ stands today in the womb of the dawn of a new day (see Ps. 110:3). We are birthing prayers that have the power to break through."3

According to Cindy Jacobs, "prophetic intercession is an urging to pray given by the Holy Spirit. . . . You pray for the prayer requests that are on the heart of God. He nudges you to pray so that He can intervene. . . . God will direct you to pray to bring forth His will on the earth as it is His will in heaven."4 In other words, God says, "Here is what I plan to do in this area-now prophesy it." For the next few days, we will focus on "Prophesying our Destiny". This is a key thing we must do in this new season.

Day 79 of 100 Days: "Prophesying Our Destiny" Read: Ez. 36, 37
by Chuck Pierce on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 11:22am

Throughout the Bible, we see examples of God's people making these types of prophetic declarations into their situations in order to see His will come about. Such was the case in Ezekiel 36 and 37. God said to Ezekiel:

But I had concern for My holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations wherever they went. Therefore say to the house of Israel, "Thus says the Lord God: 'I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name's sake, which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went. And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord,' says the Lord God, 'when I am hallowed in you before their eyes. For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land'" (Ezek. 36:21-24).

There was a process of scattering that had occurred among God's people. Satan knows how to scatter us and draw us into his process of division and scattering. So what the Lord told Ezekiel was that even though Israel (signified by the bones in Ezekiel 37) had been scattered, He was going to bring them back together. God then gave Ezekiel an understanding of Israel's prophetic destiny that he was to declare into the earth:

The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. And He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" So I answered, "O Lord God, You know." Again He said to me, "Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God to these bones: "Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord"'" (Ezek. 37:1-6).

There are four levels of prophetic declaration in Ezekiel 37 that can help us to understand the process of prophetic fulfillment. In each level, there comes a place where prophetic fulfillment can stall. Understanding how the process can stall will help us proceed into the next dimension of prophetic fulfillment.

Day 80 of 100 Days: "Prophesying our Destiny: "Coming Together" Read: Ezek. 37
by Chuck Pierce on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 11:22am

"So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over" (Ezek. 37:7-8).

Ezekiel took the words that God gave him and declared them into the desolate situation that had overtaken Judah. This is what is meant by prophetic declaration. When Ezekiel declared God's will, things began to happen. The same is true with us. When we see God's prophetic destiny in our lives and begin to declare it, something will happen. However, we have to release faith before we can see the results with our eyes. Sometimes we look for results without releasing faith, but it simply does not work that way. Faith comes first.

When Ezekiel first prophesied, there was a rattling noise and the bones came together, and then the sinews and flesh covered the bones. In the first level of prophecy, when we prophecy what God has promised us, we hear a new sound and see a new structure coming together. We even gain a portion of the plan to move forward. However, just having a plan is not enough.

Day 81 of 100 Days: Prophesying our Destiny: "The Breath of Life" Read: Ezek. 37
by Chuck Pierce on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 10:54am

"But there was no breath in them. Also He said to me, 'Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, "Thus says the Lord God: 'Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live'"'" (Ezek. 37:8-9).

Here we see the second level of prophecy. Ezekiel had seen the bones come together and the flesh appear, but there was no breath in them. There was no life. Did that mean he was a false prophet? No, of course not. It just meant that something was not yet working to produce prophetic fulfillment. So the Lord said, "Go back and prophesy to that part that has not received life." Notice that He did not tell Ezekiel to re-prophesy everything from the beginning, but only to prophesy to the part that was not working and command it to come in line with God's plans and purposes.

When we encounter a snag in declaring God's word, it does not necessarily mean that we have not heard God or that we have failed. It often means that we need to enter into a second level of prophecy in order to see life come into that which God is longing to bring to life.

Day 82 of 100 Days: Prophesying Our Destiny: "Spiritual Warfare over Hope Deferred" Ezek. 37, Pro. 13
by Chuck Pierce on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 1:09pm

"So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army. Then He said to me, 'Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, "Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!"'" (Ezek. 37:10-11).
Ezekiel saw a great army result from his prophetic declarations. But as those in the army began to speak, they said that they were filled with despair. When we become filled with despair, our faith for the future can easily be depleted. Lost hope often works with rejection and causes us to feel isolated and cut off, as was the case with this great army in Ezekiel 37. According to Proverbs 13:12, hope deferred makes the heart sick and releases a spirit of infirmity.

Ezekiel had seen great and miraculous things happen as a result of his prophetic declarations. Yet there was still hopelessness and infirmity. When this happens in our lives, we need to enter into a third level of prophecy: spiritual warfare. It is not enough to have flesh and breath. We must fight against whatever the enemy is doing to try to steal the life that God has breathed into our destiny. If we don't engage in spiritual warfare and overturn the enemy's plans to cause death, we won't progress and overturn the spirit of infirmity that has entered and is resisting our prophetic fulfillment.

Hope deferred causes much sickness. There is a place in the fulfillment of the promise of God over our lives in which we have to deal with the past issues that have come against us to discourage and defeat us. Notice that the bones in Ezekiel 37 had to express the hope deferred that was within them. Don't be afraid to face the problems of your past. By dealing with these past issues, you will be released to move into the hope for the future.

Day 83 of 100 Days: Prophesy Our Destiny: "Hope for the Future" Read: Ezek. 36, 37
by Chuck Pierce on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at 8:38pm

"Therefore prophesy and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord God: "Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves. I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it," says the Lord'" (Ezek. 37:12-14).

Notice that the phrase "I will place you in your own land" was the prophetic destiny released in Ezekiel 36. The word of the Lord had come full circle! But what if Ezekiel had stopped pressing forward after the bones had come together and there was no breath? That's what we tend to do in the Body of Christ. We think that we've heard God and we prophesy; but when things don't turn out as we thought, we give up and end up falling short of reaching our prophetic destiny. We do not see the word that God has spoken to us being manifest and fulfilled. As Ezekiel prophesied at the fourth level, resurrection power was released so that the graves could be opened and the people brought in their own land. I love the phrase "Then you will know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it, says the Lord" (v. 14, emphasis added).

It's one thing to have a promise in your life that you know is from God, but it's another thing for that promise to be performed in your life. In Ezekiel 37, four levels of agreement and prophesying were necessary to see the fulfillment of God's word. We cannot be a people that faint easily. Discouragement has no place in us as God's people. If we choose not to back up but to keep moving forward through the levels of prophecy, then God will perform His will in us and bring about prophetic fulfillment!

Day 84 of 100 Days: "I AM is at work!"
by Chuck Pierce on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 3:11pm

This season has a Heart and Life! During these hundred days, we are unlocking the doors of heaven so windows of blessings are released and new resources in the earth are uncovered! Anne Tate sent this to me! Wow! We are watching history unfold and prophecies being fulfilled. Anne writes the following:
Chuck D. Pierce

Someone sent me an article this week about the Dead Sea in Israel and the springs that have been discovered in the deepest part. The article also reported that Scientist were discovering new life forms that had never before been reported in those springs. On the surface it looks like the end of the Dead Sea because it is losing depth at the rate of a meter a year. I spoke into this on Sunday Morning. I don't remember exactly what I said but here is what I saw:
Even though some things look like they are completely dead, there is a work that is going to change the outcome. It looks like death is accelerating! It looks like the end of what we have valued. However, new life is breaking through! Even though you cannot see a manifestation of change on the surface as yet, there is a deep work happening in your heart and the earth around you. In the midst of the generations there has always been darkness. There have appeared times that there was no actual communion with God in the earth realm. There have appeared times that the Living Word spoken from His mouth was unable to reach earth or manifest in man. There have been years and spans of time, that only dry dead ritual and religion ruled in the earth. Some of these time spans were as long as 400 years.

I say, "I Have begun to break through and bring forth life. I sent one Holy Seed to Mary, a seemingly obscure, insignificant young woman and began to do a work that no man had any part in. In the depths of the "Dead Sea of Humanity", the great I AM has brought forth hidden springs of life. I have brought forth new forms and manifestations of life the world has never observed before. I have used the most unlikely band of men and women who would change the world and impact every subsequent generation. I AM and I HAVE… Now I will unlock resources that have not been seen!
As you look around this season into the lives of those you love, know that I AM is doing a work. The I AM is bringing forth a new Kingdom revelation in His people. He has a developing corporate Kingdom expression of life that the world has not witnessed or observed before. There will be new life and we will be a new life form.

Look and see in the midst of your confusion, pain, and circumstances. He is there!

Day 85 of 100 Days: Opening the door to HANUKKAH: HANUKKAH BEGINS TUESDAY EVENING! Press the next 9 days into Miracles!
by Chuck Pierce on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 2:43pm

Expect MIRACLES (Lat. miraculum, from mirari, to "wonder")! A Miracle is a Wonderful event! A Miracle is distinguished from events that only seem to be, or are merely, wonderful. A Miracle has a conception! A Miracle may be defined as a supernatural manifestation of divine power in the external world! A miracle can be a special revelation of the presence and power of God! A Miracle can aid in the establishment and preservation of a person or thing’s life!

Hanukkah is a miracle time! One vial of oil lasted 8 days day! Decree that your supply supernaturally increase! Hanukkah is the Hebrew word meaning “dedication”. The eight-day Jewish celebration bearing that name (it is also called the Festival of Lights) remembers the dedication of the Temple in Jerusalem after it had been recovered by the Jewish forces of Yehuda Maccabee in 164 BC. The Syrian king Antiochus IV Epiphanes (a forerunner of the Anti-Christ, foretold in Daniel 11:21), seeking to coerce Jews into abandoning their religion and culture for that of Greece, had issued edicts forbidding circumcision, observance of Jewish Sabbaths and feast-days. He defiled the Holy Temple by offering a sow on the altar and raising up in the Sanctuary a statue to Zeus.

Don’t miss Robert Heidler’s message on Hanukkah! Go to the web site at www.gloryofzion.org! As depicted in the First Book of Maccabees (an account of Jewish history found in the Apocrypha), a revolt was launched by the priest Mattathias and later led by his son Yehuda (Judas) Maccabee. It led to the defeat of the Syrian forces, and the defiled Temple was cleansed and re-dedicated. Another account relates how during this cleansing there was only enough sanctified oil left to burn in the menorah for one night—yet a miracle occurred and it continued burning for eight days. The victorious warrior Yehuda ordained “that the days of the dedication of the altar should be kept in their season from year to year by the space of eight days, from the five and twentieth day of the month of Kislev, with mirth and gladness” (I Maccabees 4:59).

John records how Yeshua/Jesus was walking in the Temple on Solomon’s Porch during the Festival of Hanukkah in Jerusalem (John 10:22). It was during this season that he chose to speak of himself as “The Good Shepherd” who “lays down his life for the sheep.” And, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one” (John 10:27-30 ESV).

Today, part of the celebration includes the use of a special eight-branched menorah upon which a new oil lamp or candle is lit each evening. Each light is ignited from the flame of a separate “branch” called shamash—“servant”. Remarkably, the Haftarah reading for this Saturday within Hanukkah, besides containing, as might be expected, a menorah (See Torah section below), also includes the following words, “Behold, I am bringing forth My Servant the BRANCH.” Although a different word for servant is used here, there is no doubt that it refers to the Servant-Messiah, sent by the Father—the Light Inextinguishable, who illumines all coming into the world (John 1:9).

Hanukkah—the Feast of Dedication—the Festival of Lights is a season for:

*Allowing the Holy Light of the Spirit to shine within ourselves, revealing any idolatry or uncleanness which may have defiled our bodies (which are the Temple of the Holy Spirit) and removing it. Of re-dedicating our bodies as a living sacrifice to God.

*Dedicating our ears to listen for the voice of our Shepherd (John 10 above).

*For surrendering our selves anew to the infilling of the Holy Spirit whose anointing comes from an inexhaustible supply.

*For letting our “lights” shine brightly in the darkness—reaching out and joining with those of other believers. A popular Israeli Hebrew Children’s song for Hanukkah is called BANU HOSHEKH L’GARESH (“We have come to drive out darkness”):

We have come to drive out darkness, in our hands light and fire:

Each of us is a small light, but together we are a strong, steady light.

Flee Darkness in the Blackness—Flee before the Light!

As you pray the next 8 days, watch for miracles! Serve others that you might unlock the supply that will serve you!

Pray for Martin and Norma Sarvis in Israel!

Pray for Daniel and Amber Pierce in Israel!

Day 86 of 100 Days: "See Miracles! Shout Today That God Is Good!" Read: Eph. 2; Acts 15:9; 26:18; Gal 3:26; Col. 3:24
by Chuck Pierce on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 2:07pm

See the miracles that are pressing you into a greater glory! My wife recently made this incredible statement: "Expecting the miraculous is one of the childlike characteristics that has to be cultivated and protected in a world full of cynicism and disappointment." Miracles and faith must go hand in hand. Faith is related to every part of our Christian lives. By faith we receive salvation (Eph. 2:8-9). Faith is associated with our experiences of sanctification (Acts 26:18), purification (Acts 15:9), justification (Rom. 4:5; 5:1), and adoption (Gal. 3:26; Col. 3:24). All are dependent upon our faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. There is a war of faith to hear and stand that we must enter into at times if we are to see our promises manifest. In the Book of Haggai, the people began strong to rebuild but got distracted and discouraged from the warfare.

The word miracle is linked with the principle of wonder. Wonderful events only God can conceive in heaven for us to see on the earth are really what a miracle is about. A miracle is a supernatural manifestation of divine power in this atmospheric world that we live in, in which special revelations of the presence and power of God are displayed. All natural events become subservient and aid His power from the throne room as released in and through us here in the earth realm. Once His power is released, He establishes and preserves His will and the life processes of human flesh in the world. A miracle, or His power, extends eternity into the atmosphere where we live and walk.

This power aligns with the "the Spirit of the Lord" so the "the finger of God" can have His work (Luke 4:18; 11:20; cf. Acts 3:12). Miracles are powers, mighty works, wonderful works, and manifestations of the power of God. He uses His finger to touch, paint, and work His will like the mighty molder of life that He is! He creates a new order out of a mess. He enters the natural laws of Earth and redirects their actions. The supernatural finger of God rearranges what seems to us as a natural world. The whole world is filled with wonders to those who have eyes to see. The natural world everywhere is full of marvels, but we must look for the finger that makes the natural wondrous and alive with God.

There is a greater glory! See and enter into the new. Shake off all discouragement, disillusionment, and disinterest from the last season that have caused you to shrink back. If the war from the last season turned you away from pushing back completion of any project, regroup and "go up again." Our worship team at Glory of Zion International actually recorded a CD entitled Go Up Again.

Tell your emotions not to hang on to past hurts. Do not be afraid that your last pain will recur again in the new. Believe that your latter can be greater than the former. Come UP into a NEW spiritual realm! GO BEYOND. A fresh anointing is being released as we cross over. Let go of trauma, and release forgiveness. Begin to worship in a new and fresh way, and interact with the angelic hosts. Decree that a new wave of the Holy Spirit will overtake you. Declare the seeds that you have sown in the past seasons will begin to multiply, and your storehouse will fill again. Recognize spiritual forces around you that have blocked the flow of the river of life.

Day 87 of 100 Days: "The Lord is saying MIRACLES!"
by Chuck Pierce on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 12:32pm

Last Sunday, it was obvious that the Lord is wanting us to understand that He is ready for us to move into miracles. Here are some key prophecies that came forth. Allow the Lord give you the measure of faith for miracles!
Chuck D. Pierce

Janice Swinney - "As a baby breaks through in that birth process, I created and came as a breaker on that day. I did come to all the nations of the earth. I am, in this season, making a new way, creating a new breakthrough in these nations if they will turn their ear to Me. This was for peace on the whole earth and good will to all men."

Linda Heidler - "I am ready to invade with miracles. I am ready to make you like Judah Macabee. You may think you are facing an overwhelming force but I am ready to invade with miracles so let Me cleanse the temple. Let Me cleanse from idolatry. Let Me cleanse from defilement so that there is an atmosphere within which I can release My miracles and you can invade the earth with My miracle power."
Timmerly Kelly - "Milagros. Milagros. Milagros. Miracles, miracles, miracles. Some of you have been waiting, waiting, waiting for this redirecting season, for this redirecting time. It is now time to look to Me, look to Me alone. I break off fear from you today. I break off timidity. Inside of each one of you there are miracles, miracles, miracles."

Day 88 of 100 Days: "See Miracles as They Happen"
by Chuck Pierce on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 4:32pm

Miracles happen. I pray that you are seeing your miracles as they happen. A miracle is not only wonderful but also has the sense of being a new thing. This new thing awakens us to a divine power that our eyes were unable to see. His finger and working power have an appropriate place in the great plan and purpose of lives that have been knitted together in Him. Miracles produce revelation. What we could not normally see, we now see.

Faith sees when miracles happen! Faith was one of the main thrusts of Jesus's ministry. In the Gospels, we continually find statements such as, "Your faith has healed you." In Jesus's hometown, He could not do mighty miracles because the people there lacked faith. He wasn't powerless to do so, but the atmosphere in that place prevented our Lord from exhibiting the power of faith. However, when He found men and women of faith, He released His power, and miracles took place. God assures us that if we believe, then nothing is impossible, and He withholds nothing.

Move into the next season with a mentality of health and increase. Miracles happen! Expect visitation. Remove all distractions. Choose the one thing. Let the Lord reorder your day. Meditate day and night on His Word. Meditation produces success. Find your place in God's kingdom government plan. Ask Holy Spirit to reveal your new supply lines. War using prophetic words that will unlock your seeds sown in the kingdom.

Day 89 of 100 Days: Miracles: "Faith Develops and Increases" Read: Ps. 111:10; Prov. 14:15; Ps. 78: 14-32; Isa. 63:17
by Chuck Pierce on Saturday, December 24, 2011 at 5:46pm

Faith is preceded by awe. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" (Ps. 111:10). We must learn to see the miracles that are daily with us. We need to open our eyes to where we are going (Prov. 14:15). We must learn how to let His will prevail. Our faith is not just our concern-it is also His concern. The warring of your will against faith can be very strong. Until the will is yielded, you cannot secure your desire. Only in His light do we see light. We do not seek God only for information; we seek God so we can respond to Him.

God is not important unless He is the supreme importance in our life. Faith is not the same as belief. Faith is sensitivity, understanding, engagement, and attachment. We can gain this or lose this; remember the generation that left Egypt (Ps. 78:14-32; Isa. 63:17). Faith includes faithfulness, strength of waiting, the acceptance of His concealment, and the defiance of history (Isa. 26:13). Faith moves mountains and can change nations if we allow that grain within us to grow.

Day 90 of 100 Days: Miracles: "Have Faith for God's Promises"
by Chuck Pierce on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at 5:16pm

I'm reminded of a Christmas gift I got years ago. Our adopted son Joseph came to us at the age of 13 when we were serving as administrators of an institute in Texas for children from dysfunctional homes. (Actually, he came to us as "Billy," nicknamed after one of the men that his natural mother had aligned herself with, but we discovered that his real name was Joseph.) Joseph did not know his natural father, and his mother was in prison. He was a street kid from Houston who had been in numerous foster homes and care group homes. As with many children who come from dysfunctional authority structures in the home, Joseph knew the 'system' of how to lie and manipulate to gain favor. However, he did not know the Lord. He had been forced to be religious and to follow rules, but he had no reality of God in his life.

Our role was to lead Joseph to the Lord and fully establish him on the path that God had destined for him when He created him in the womb. We actually knew that we would have to go through a process to redevelop his identity and make him into the 'Joseph' that God intended for him to be. He was a trial for us. Not only were we developing his character, but we were also undoing and unraveling many of the ungodly mind-sets of survival that he had developed. Satan had grabbed hold of Joseph's destiny at an early age and was attempting to hold him on a path of destruction.

But God! The promise that God gave me for Joseph was that he would be an 'A' and 'B' grade student. Oh, my! This was neither a reality nor a desire in his heart. War after war proceeded. He did make enough 'C' grades to keep him in sport programs that he enjoyed. But the several severe strongholds caused by the abuses from his past remained and there was constant contention over these issues. Because Joseph knew 'the system,' our discernment level had to rise so that we could distinguish the truth from the lies in what he told us.

I would love to say that this was an easy war, but that would not be true. I came home one day after a discussion with one of his teachers at school at the end of my rope. I was ready to just let Joseph go down the path that he seemed to desire most. When I walked into the house, Pam turned from the kitchen window and said, "The Lord spoke to me and told me that He was going to fill Joseph with the Holy Spirit." My weariness and unbelief took over and I said, "Oh great, that means I have to endure this war longer." Pam then said, "Well, you can agree with God or agree with what you see!" I chose to submit and trust the word that the Lord had spoken to my wife.

When I did this, two things occurred. First of all, I began to see that Pam had a dimension of faith that I did not have because of her mother's love for a son who had been given to her. Love and faith were working together to bring prophetic fulfillment. Second, I began to see how the enemy used weariness, turmoil, frustration and circumstance to cause me to forget the word of promise and plan of heaven. Remember, the only thing that the Lord had ever spoken to me about Joseph was that he would make A's and B's in school.

I would like to say things turned around immediately, but they did not! After high school, Joseph went to a private college in East Texas and then attended a junior college in North Texas for two years. Yet he was still mediocre at school and still filled with issues. Joseph decided to enter the Air Force, and Pam and I took assignments in New Mexico and Colorado Springs. Joseph married soon after, but his life continued to be up and down. I still wondered in my heart if he would ever really change. But Pam walked in faith and believed in God's promises.

When Joseph was 32, Pam and I moved back to Denton. By this time, Joseph had four children, and he was now attending the University of North Texas and working part-time. When he and his family came for Christmas at our home that year, he shared with me how they had little money because of his working part-time and attending school. However, he did have a special gift for me-it was his final grade report in college. He had gotten all 'A's'! He had made the dean's list and finished his schooling, just as the Lord had said in the beginning. He had finished strong! He had proven to the enemy, to himself, and to me that what God had said about him was a reality. Both Joseph and his wife now serve in pastoral ministry. The Lord had fulfilled the word He had spoken to my wife as well. I learned much through watching this orchid bloom!

As we come to the end of this year, remember God's promises and finish strong! Merry Christmas!

Day 91 of 100 Days: Miracles: "Stepping Into Time"
by Chuck Pierce on Monday, December 26, 2011 at 11:53am

God is not in time as we are in time. Our Father has access to every moment in our lives from beginning to end as though they were the present. By the Holy Spirit, we can actually access those times in our pasts when we felt abandoned, abused, betrayed, fearful, happy, fulfilled, or any other emotion or condition. Not only can the believer be forgiven for the past, but he or she can also travel back in time with God, see Him as "a very present help" in the past, and redeem those past times that the enemy wanted to use for evil.

Imagine for a moment that all of eternity is represented by a large piece of paper. This is where God is unlimited by time and space. Now draw a line on that piece of paper, representing time. Make sure that line has a beginning and an end. This line begins when God instituted time at Creation, and it will end when God says, "Time's up!" Man lives on the line while God can step in and out of time according to His purposes and plans. God sees all of time at once and doesn't have to wait for anything to happen; all is present for Him. This is a simplified explanation of a complex idea, but it works.

Now pretend that you can pick the line up and use it to make a circle. That better represents how the Lord sees time. Time is generational. Time is cyclical. God intended the blessings of one generation to be passed and connected to the next generation, and the next, until the fullness of His purpose is manifested in a family, city, or nation. This is called the cycle of life. The enemy longs to break into a person's life cycle to divert from God's divine purpose and begin what is called a cycle of iniquity and pain. Our time can be filled with blessings or wounding or curses. The good thing about the Spirit of God is His ability to confront us at any moment and give us a choice to follow Him out of any destructive pattern and into a glorious future.

However, we must learn to respond to Him within time. We are called to represent Him as ambassadors in our generation. The decisions and actions we take now affect three generations ahead. Therefore, when we know how the Lord wants us to respond and we do so, His glory infiltrates the earth and we see Him change our atmosphere and environment. Because of God's position relative to time, He can-and often does-seem to answer our prayers before they have been uttered!

God has chosen mankind as the necessary link to bring His will from heaven to Earth. He wants us to commune with Him, listen carefully to His voice, gain prophetic revelation, and decree that revelation into the earth. This will unlock miracles and release His blessings. Once we hear God, we can intercede. We can also prophesy. Prophecy is declaring His mind and His heart. When we receive prophetic revelation, we need to decree the prophetic revelation, and then the atmosphere into which we decree goes on heaven's time instead of Earth's time.

Day 92 of 100 Days: Miracles: “Be Sure Old Cycles Are Broken”
by Chuck Pierce on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 11:49am

Israel was an example of a corporate group who had to overcome several things to enter the Promised Land. The following spiritual assignment will allow us to move forward into the fullness of God’s plan for our lives. Before you read further, make a list of old cycles. Now is the time to break from any old cycle that has held your promise and destiny in captivity. Declare that your Passover time of deliverance is now beginning. Ask God for signs, wonders, and miracles that will intervene in old cyclical structures of your life. Be secure in timing. Declare that everything in your past be repaired and restored so that your future can be unlocked. Look up and see the window of heaven that is opening over you. Gain victory in strategic warfare. Do not be afraid to ascend in worship. This is a time to experience God’s glory. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Ask God to open your eyes so you can see His glory. Make a list of promises. Even make a list of stirrings that have been in your heart that have never come to fullness. Let His presence direct you into the path of deliverance and Passover from captivity to freedom. Position yourself for your future. The best is ahead!

Day 93 of 100 Days: Miracles: “The Changing of Water to Wine” Read: John 2
by Chuck Pierce on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 10:31am

In the biblical story of the wedding at Cana, the third day of the wedding celebration came, and something had to shift. (See John 2:1–12.) When we get halfway through something, we must make the choice of going back, settling down with our accomplishments, or succeeding and going all the way into the fullness of God’s plan. There comes a time when you can no longer resist the change that is waiting for you. You might not seem ready for what is changing, but change is inevitable.

There came a time when Jesus had to demonstrate a power that would change the world. Many times miracles represent the changing landscape of a season and represent that divine intervention has entered our space and time in the earth. In John 2, Jesus attends a wedding, and something happens that sets a new course for many for the next three years. Those three years would change the course of the history of mankind forever.

When the time came for this wedding, Jesus had approximately six disciples following Him. This would be a moment in time to touch these disciples and demonstrate a new dimension of who He was by using the events of the wedding. John the Baptist had been a social recluse, but Jesus accepted invitations to social events and moved in and out of these events with Father’s grace. He moved supernaturally in natural events. At this point in His ministry, He had yet to perform a miracle, but already many knew that He was different from the world. He had yet to disclose fully His identity. But a crisis arose in the wedding. Unless something happened, the success of the wedding was in danger, and instead of beginning this new relationship and season with joy and celebration, the bride and groom were in danger of reproach.

Mary, His mother, suggested to Jesus that He do something. She told the guests that if He suggested something, they should do whatever He suggested. Jesus was hesitant at first. He could only do what Father instructed Him to do. As He waited, He heard the plan of heaven for the crisis that confronted the wedding party. The words were, “Change the water to wine.” Therefore, Jesus used the available pots for religious purification for something new. He took the pots, filled them with water, and then change occurred.

This change was not just for the party and the immediate need to drink and celebrate—it created a pattern for the future. By manifesting His glory in this first miracle, He caused His disciples to see Him from a new perspective. They believed! Perhaps at the beginning they only saw Him as a miracle worker, but for them, this was the beginning of a three-year process of gaining revelation that would affect the future of all mankind.

The manifestation of a new glory realm creates change in all that embraces the display of change. Change means “to be altered or to pass from one state, form, quality, or essence to a different state, form, quality, or essence.” Change means “to undergo variation.” No longer are you the same in quality or look. Change can be linked with a succession of one thing in the place of another. Change can mean that you have removed or altered one form to produce another way of doing things. Change is related to a business transaction that shifts you into a greater way of prospering or striving. Change is synonymous with revolution or a season produced by a revolution. The manifestation of His glory in the changing of the water to wine began His revolution in the earth. When glory comes, revolution begins.

Day 94 of 100 Days: The Final 12.5%--Pursuing and Destroying our Enemies
by Chuck Pierce on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 11:49am

When Allen Faubion spoke, he talked about THE FINAL 12.5%. This is the effort necessary to press through the final portion of one season and break through into the next. Usually it’s the last 15 Minutes of a battle that determines the ultimate victory of a battle. In Revelation, the Lord spoke to John and he spoke to the church of Smyrna:

“Don’t be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The devil will throw some of you into prison and put you to the test. You will be persecuted for ten days. Remain faithful!”

Always remember the Lord sees the end from the beginning, and will give the grace to win the race and make to your next season. These next five days press through what you have been warring through.

Chuck D. Pierce

Since the end of July I have warred alongside several family members, friends, and personal connections against some very significant issues. We have faced off against life threatening cancers and conditions. We have battled against grave injustice in the civil and criminal justice arenas. We have taken a stand against financial structures that resist righteousness. We have also taken up arms against unrighteous religious and governmental structures. One day, in the midst of all these critical situations, one of my fellow “warriors” and I were discussing these battles over lunch. One of us commented how different it would be if we could run ahead of these enemies and fight them with the advantage. Immediately we stopped and asked God to show us how to move ahead of our enemies. Immediately he began to do so.

The Spirit took us to the account of Gideon’s victory over the Midianites. He took us to the familiar part when Gideon and his 300 men broke the pots, blew their shofarot, and lifted up a shout: “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!” Once Holy Spirit revealed His Gideon-like strategy for us and we implemented it we experienced the reality that we had gained the advantage. I have to admit that I thought this would be the point of “final” breakthrough and victory in these areas. It wasn’t. I quickly realized we had stepped into the most important part of our battle against these unrighteous structures.

I discovered that it is not enough to defeat spiritual enemies and the stronghold structures they use to steal our promise. I learned I (we) must pursue and destroy those enemies so that they can never again come against me and those who move with me. I looked again at Gideon’ battle against the massive Midianite horde that regularly and consistently ravaged God’s promise and provision for Gideon and God’s people. I was greatly familiar with Gideon’s 300 men and their spectacular confrontation with the vast and mighty Midianite army. In one night those 300 hand-picked warriors witnessed the self-destruction of 185,000 Midianite soldiers.

Imagine what the Midianite camp must have looked like as the dawn began to break. 87.5% of their enemy’s force lay dead and the remaining 12.5% (15,000 soldiers) were on the run. Gideon could have dismissed his 300 men and called it a day satisfied with their supernatural victory over their enemy. Gideon did stop there. In Biblical times the complete and utter defeat of an enemy was signaled by the victor raising up the decapitated head of his enemy (remember David with Goliath?). The final 12.5% of the Midianite army included their key leaders—princes with the names of Oreb, Zeeb, Zebah, and Zalmunnah. Gideon and his men pursued this enemy on the run until all four heads were destroyed.

As I read the account of Gideon and compared it with our warfare the Spirit pointed out several important revelations:

87.5% of the battle has been fought and the resistance with it has been overcome.
12.5% of the battle still remains to be fought. This isn’t a battle to determine the victor. It is a battle of the victor utterly destroying (judging) his enemy so that he never torments him or his generations again.
While the final 12.5% of the battle is not the greatest portion of the battle it is the critical portion that finally cuts off our foes.
God has taken care of the 87.5%. He has put the 12.5% into our hands. We must pursue these enemy structures until we severe their threat against us and destroy their ability to war against us.

Day 95 of 100 Days: "Destroying the Array of the Enemy" Read: Ps. 83
by Chuck Pierce on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 11:13am

Psalm 83 identifies the defeat of Midian as the model for how God intends us to destroy enemy structures that war against us. Verses 9-12 declare:
Do to them as you did to Midian,as you did to Sisera and Jabin at the river Kishon,
10 who perished at Endorand became like refuse on the ground.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
12 who said, "Let us take possession of the pasturelands of God."
Three important conclusions come from these verses. First and foremost God wants to reduce our enemies to nothing. He is not interested in neutralizing them or simply defeating them. He wants to "waste" them in a way that makes it utterly impossible for them to be of any use or affect to anyone ever again. This is what we can expect to occur provided we move with Him in the pursuit of our enemies.
Second, God wants to destroy all the heads of enemy structures. According to verses 9-12 the Midianite army had six different "heads" it. Deborah's army fought against the first two heads, Sisera and Jabin, while Gideon's army pursued the nobles and princes, Oreb, Zeeb, Zebah, and Zalmunna. Each Midianite head brought a different dimension to the battle. This can be seen in the names of each:
· Sisera-"Battle array"
· Jabin-"One who understands/discerns"
· Oreb-"Raven"
· Zeeb-"Wolf"
· Zebah-"False Altar"
· Zalmunnah-"Covers in thick darkness"
This list reveals what we need to see about every enemy structure we battle, overcome, pursue to destruction. Each enemy will have an array of things that must be pursued and destroyed if we want to experience rest from our enemies.
Sisera's Array
Sisera was the field general of the Caananite army in league with the Midianites. He directed the battlefield array against Deborah. Sisera served the King of Hazor, Jabin (whose name meant "understands"). Together these two, Sisera and Jabin, devised a strategy against Israel that included an overpowering force of 900 iron chariots. In Judges 4 God revealed to Deborah His strategy to destroy this force. When Deborah's force (led by Barak) advanced, God completely destroyed Sisera's army. However Sisera escaped destruction and hid in the tent of Jael. Sisera felt he was safe because Jael and her family were ethnic Midianites and the Midianite army was aligned with Sisera. Sisera failed to realize that Jael's family had abandoned its alignment with Midian to align with God's people. Thus while an exhausted unsuspecting Sisera slept confidently in Jael's tent, Jael took a tent peg and hammered it into Sisera's temple.
Hitting the Nail on the Head
Enemy structures come at us with a organization and strategy that is designed to look and feel overwhelming. When the timing is right (Deborah was from the tribe of Issachar) and we advance with Him, God will destroy the enemy's array. As long as we keep advancing with God, we can be confident that He will leave no opportunity for our enemies to run and hide. Jael may not have been a child of Israel but God positioned and aligned her to be at the right place and time to destroy Sisera.

Keep Advancing
We are in a time when we must advance until we see enemy structures destroyed. At certain points it may seem we can never destroy them because the array of their structures is so vast and ordered. As long as we advance with the Lord we can be confident that nothing can escape His judgment.
Release the Sound of the Tent Peg
We have often worshipped with the song that declares "Just like Jael." The Hebrew word used to describe the action and sound of Jael driving the tent peg into Sisera's head is the word "Tekiah." Literally it means to drive a tent peg into the ground. It is also the primary sound of the shofar-an extended blast-that declares God has raised His tent and set His boundaries over an area or structure. When we blow the shofar over our lives and over the structures that war against us, it releases the hammer that strikes the peg into our enemies. Day 96 of 100 Days: "Destroying Oreb" Read: Is. 25; 2 Cor. 4; Judges 7:25; Ps. 29
by Chuck Pierce on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 11:17am

Gideon was responsible to destroy the governing structure of Midian. This structure was comprised of royal princes (Oreb and Zeeb) and societal nobility (Zebah and Zalmunna). The name Oreb means "Raven." Historically and culturally around the world the raven is a symbol of occult knowledge and oracles. Apparently what gave Oreb a governing role in Midian was his identity with this occultic voice. People get easily confused about occultic matters. "Occult" simply means dark or hidden. It describes a demonic strategy to keep things covered and hidden from light. Isaiah 25 and 2 Corinthians 4 points out there is an occultic shroud or veil that covers the earth and keeps mankind in the dark about what is true and real.
What gives the occult its power is that is covers the truth by counterfeiting it. Demonic structures have a voice that they use to counterfeit the voice of God. Just as the voice of God moves creation toward light and life so the occultic voice attempts to move creation towards darkness and death. The objective of the occultic voice is to get us to move by its voice and word rather than by God's.
Over the past several months I have paid close attention to the sound of this occultic voice so I can recognize when it speaks to me or to others. Here are several tactics I have observed.

1. The occult voice speaks fear. Demon structures want to provoke terror and fear in our hearts. The devil doesn't care if we love him; he just wants us to bow to him. He uses terror and fear to make us bow to his voice rather than God's. Just listen to the news and adds on television and radio these days. There are countless appeals to fear about money, health, the future, government, world events, climate and the like. Each appeal is designed to provoke us to feel, think, or act according to fear rather than revelation directly from God.
2. The occult voice appeals to imagination. The voice of darkness often acquires power over us through our imagination because our imagination is so powerful. The occultic voice has mastered the technique of "What if…." It appeals to what might happen or could take place to control us with fear or delusion over things that are not real but imaginary. Jesus said "man does not live by bread alone but every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." Real life comes from God's mouth alone. When He speaks it activates reality.
3. The occult voice speaks correctness rather than truth. In our day people talk about the power of words. They try and give authority to words. Words alone have no power. If they did then words alone would transform things. They don't. It is one's voice that gives authority to one's words because the sound of the voice reveals who is really speaking. When God speaks it releases righteousness and justice. When the occult voice speaks it releases correctness and legality.
4. The occult voice never shuts up. The occult voice tries to overwhelm us with wave after wave of words and sounds; a sound tsunami. This tactic is designed to confuse us. Whenever I hear a believer say "I can't hear God" I know they have succumbed to this tactic. There is nothing more fundamental than hearing God's voice clearly. Mindy and I recently visited our oldest son's family when our daughter in law gave birth to our second grandson. We held Aaron when he was less than a week old. At that early stage Aaron knew the voice of his parents. He knew their voice in utero. He even responded to the sound of his daddy's guitar since Ben would play to him in the womb. God does speak often and clearly to those who will listen to His voice rather than the voices of darkness.

Destroying the Occult Voice
Gideon pursued Oreb until he destroyed him. Judges 7:25 says "…they killed Oreb at the rock of Oreb." What I like about this brief account is that Gideon was not afraid to pursue Oreb into his own hideout. Evidently Oreb had built his house on a rock structure he felt was unshakeable and impenetrable. The occult voice will often intimidate and manipulate with the boast that it can't be shaken. Nonsense. Psalm 29 repeats again and again that only the Voice of the Lord can shatter and shake. Gideon moved with the voice of the Lord. The Lord's voice gave him the strategy to stand against the Midianites. The sound of God's voice in Gideon and his 300 men released the sound that destroyed the Midianite army. Recently I spoke with someone who was distressed by words and curses others were speaking towards them. I said to my friend, "What are you afraid of? That occult voice has no power over you. Only God's voice has the power to shake things. You have the voice of God in you. Tell that occult voice to shut up and leave. Give it no place." Later my friend called to report the peace and joy she experienced when she shut the mouth of the voice of darkness.

Day 97 of 100 Days: "Destroying the Ravaging Wolves" Read: Judges 6; 7:25
by Chuck Pierce on Sunday, January 1, 2012 at 11:39am

Gideon called on the tribe of Ephraim to pursue and kill the Midianite princes Oreb and Zeeb. Gideon was from the tribe of Manasseh. Manasseh and Ephraim were the "half-tribes" that made up the portions of Joseph. Joseph received a double portion of the land. Manasseh received one portion; Ephraim the other portion. Joseph knew in his youth that his portion was greater and that those who were "over" him would eventually bow to him. Joseph had the anointing to prosper things and the authority to which others would bow. Ephraim and Manasseh carried this anointing with them. We have to carry this same anointing with us if we are going to pursue and destroy enemy structures that come against us. Oftentimes though we choose to bow to enemy structures because of the way they have attacked us in the past. Gideon knew that dynamic from personal experience.
In Judges 6 the story of Gideon begins with a brief account of how the Midianites regularly swept into the lands of Manasseh and other tribes to devour their harvests. The angel of the Lord found Gideon threshing wheat in the family winepress because he was trying to hide his new grain from the Midianite horde and avoid being ravaged by them again. This is a vivid picture of what enemy structures do to us. They are like a pack of wolves roaming around looking for us in vulnerable places in order to ravage and consume all we are and have.

One of the key leaders of the ravenous pack that descended on Gideon's region was a man named Zeeb. Zeeb means "wolf." Perhaps Zeeb was the alpha wolf in Midian. I particularly like what happened to Zeeb when the sons of Ephraim pursued. Judges 7:25 says they killed him at the winepress of Zeeb. The ravager died in the kind of place he ravaged. My guess is that Zeeb hid in the winepress just as Gideon hid when Zeeb was the pursuer rather than the pursued. That is what happens when righteousness prevails. Unrighteousness must bow and will bow to righteousness.
I recently grabbed hold of the reality that the righteousness and anointing God placed in Joseph is also in me. I no longer have to be ravaged or to hide from the possibility of it happening. I no longer have to worry about going where I formerly was held captive by my enemies. As long as I pursue my former captors to the end I will see them cut off even in the kind of places where they once tried to cut me off. Because I am righteous my enemies must bow to me.

Day 98 of 100 Days: "Destroying Altars of Darkness"
by Chuck Pierce on Monday, January 2, 2012 at 1:41pm

Gideon relentlessly pursued the leaders of the Midianite invaders as they fled back to their places of refuge. Nothing could stop him from seeing the destruction of the structure that had destroyed so much of his life and the lives of his extended family. For a seven year season the Midianites impoverished and oppressed Gideon's people to such an unbearable degree that lived in caves and mountain clefts as a way to avoid their oppressors' plague. When they cried out God sent them a prophet to explain the root of their calamity. The darkness was rooted in the fact they had refused to listen to God and had erected false altars to false gods.

I have learned from my own experience that when patterns of destruction persist over time it is rooted in some kind of false altar in my life. From the time God first constituted the sons of Israel as His people He has made it very clear that we are to worship Him alone in the manner that He has revealed. God hates it when we worship false gods and when we worship him falsely. We worship false gods when we allow anyone or anything other than God Himself to lead or control our lives, affections, mindsets, or destiny. He wants us to pour out ourselves wholly to Him because He wants to infuse us with blessing. When we listen to family tradition, religion, patriotism, nationalism, personal opinions, etc., it erects an altar that God hates and results in curse.

The same is true when we worship God falsely. When Aaron fashioned the golden calf he declared: "This is what the God who saved us from Egypt looks like!" He didn't get this from God. God hates it when we worship Him according to our image of Him. When we worship God on our terms we create a caricature of Him rather than worshipping Him as He really is. Why else do you think so many of us have spent much of our lives sitting in uncomfortable chairs listening to meaningless messages from people whose lives are just as powerless as our own? God isn't like that nor would he tolerate it were he in our place. After Jesus addressed the people in his home synagogue in Nazareth they wanted to kill him. The first thing he did when entering the temple in Jerusalem was knock over all the furniture God had not commanded to be there.

Gideon knew the power of altars of darkness. One of the first things God required of him on the path from curse to blessing was to destroy a false family altar and idol. I know what that is like. Several years ago at a point where destruction was laying hold of me, the Lord told me I was an idolater. Once I recovered from that shocking announcement (after all I had been a pastor for 20+ years) He told me I would have to destroy the false altar I had erected. Like Gideon, God had to tell me and show me how to do this. Eventually I did it and when I did curse turned to blessing that impacted not only me but also my family.
I

t is not difficult for me to understand why Gideon so relentlessly pursued the last two kings of Midian. Their names were Zebah "false altar" and Zalmunnah "covered in darkness. Gideon pursued them even when others who should have helped him wouldn't help him. When Zebah and Zalmunnah were finally in his hands he tried to involve his youthful son in their destruction but he was too young and afraid to do so. God put it in Gideon's hands to destroy the false altars and He put it in his hands to destroy the enemies. Even as Z&Z mocked him one last time Gideon took the sword and cut the throat of his enemy.
Nothing could stop Gideon. He fought the final 12.5% just as valiantly as he fought the first 12.5%. He never gave up or let up until the pursuit was finished.

What about you?

Day 99 of 100 Days: "Finish Strong and Move into the Next Season Stronger!" Read: Josh. 13:3-5, 19:24-31; 2 Kings 19, Ezek. 28
by Chuck Pierce on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 1:43pm

In running our race, we must not let the devil keep us from finishing every assignment we receive with a powerful testimony. Too many times, we see someone who is moving forward and having great impact falter or get ensnared just seconds before they reach the finish line. Don't let the devil get the victory! Instead, listen for the Lord's voice and follow without fear. How do you enter in and hear what the Lord has to say to you for the next season? Remove all distractions and listen for the wind of the Holy Spirit! Resist your Martha tendencies these next three months. Jesus said, "Martha, Martha, you are so distracted." The Greek word for distracted means "to drag around in circles." Do not let the enemy hold you captured in an old circle of duty and miss the times the Lord has determined to visit with you in the year ahead.

Let the Lord reorder your day! Evening comes before morning. Let Him determine your hour of prayer. Invite a new wave of the Holy Spirit to overtake your life and invade your region! This is the year of a Holy Spirit Movement. Renounce and repent for quenching Holy Spirit in the past. War with prophetic words that will unlock the seeds you have sown.

This will release strategies for you to do exploits! I woke up this morning and the Lord reminded me of Dr. George Washington Carver and how he developed hundreds of uses for the peanut. That is the concept of exploits. Pray to unlock sounds that will allow you to advance past old worship systems and methods. Let the healing flow of God burst forth! Open key portals for angelic hosts to lead you to a new dimension of breakthrough. Press through and touch the hem of His garment! Do not let trauma or infirmity from the past season stop you from pressing out and touching the Lord to receive virtue and power!

Trauma hides in your cells like a snapshot from a camera. The picture of the trauma is stored deep in your brain. When not processed and resolved, trauma will distort your world so that you perceive everything through that snapshot. The enemy tries to take advantage of us during traumatic times of loss or change. He uses trauma to create: (1) a failure mentality; (2) a confused perception of life; (3) a dullness, deadness, lost hope, or apathy in our spirit man; (4) blocked emotions; (5) a bitter root. Do not take bitterness with you into the next season. This will create roots that will entangle your feet and keep you from moving forward on your new path of success. But the Holy Spirit is ready move in such a way that you are sovereignly delivered! This will give you a new perspective on life and the world around you. New vision will arise in you.

Do we have a great future ahead in the world of turmoil around us? Of course! We will possess our inheritance! That means that we will eventually rule in the midst of our enemies. Expect your end to be better than your beginning.

Here are seven issues that we must watch for and be aware of as we enter the next 21 years.
1. Changing commerce and trade systems. We must learn to overthrow trade iniquities that have never been overthrown (see Josh. 13:3-5, 19:24-31; 2 Kings 19, Ezek. 28, Rev. 19). We must understand Babylon. We must be aware of the dragon. We must understand China's role in the future, especially in the area of commerce. We must also watch Russia carefully.
2. Breaking the fear of darkness. We must learn to rule the night. The prayer movement will shift. From city to city, we will develop the night watch. This will not be done only in the Church but all spheres of authority.
3. We must understand the concept of time and law. Satan's strategy is to manipulate time and law. Be careful of attempts to overthrow "The Machine." Jesus threatened the system by doing what Father said. Following His example, we must not get caught up in the system trying to change the system. We must be a Kingdom people who obey our King and allow our obedience to change society.
4. We will preach the power of The Blood! The Spirit of God will begin to invade blood structures. We will return to an understanding of the power of His Blood. We will not preach a Gospel with no power. This will result in gifts of healing and unusual workings of miracles.
5. We must no longer just be attempting to build the Church. We must understand God's kingdom plan for this hour. The season of fellowship is shifting into more decentralized fellowship. Our corporate gatherings will be filled with a new dynamic with worship and warfare. We will travail and gain strategy against the enemy's plans in the earth realm. God is releasing new strategies for us to govern in the spheres of authority that we have been assigned. The Church building plan of the future has changed.
6. A dichotomy of good and evil is forming. We are entering a season of polarization. We must understand God's covenant in these conflicts. Anti-Semitism is embedded in most national structures. When you blend nationalism with religious force, you get a dangerous dynamic in the world. We must watch the Middle East, a powder keg of religious force contending for territorial dominion.
7. An unprecedented season of harvest is on the horizon. This is a season to develop the strategies for the next major harvest of souls in the earth. To do this we must define our harvest fields, which are not the same fields from the last several decades. We must develop new ways to plow the harvest fields. There is a new crop of souls ready to be harvested!
Mind-blowing changes are ahead for all of us who profess the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Day 100 Of 100 Days: "Launch Out For a Transfer!" Read: Lk. 5
by Chuck Pierce on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 1:44pm

Thank you all for these 100 Days! The world has shaken because of our diligent prayer and intercession. Now let us launch out for a transfer!
Chuck D. Pierce

It is important to hear what God is saying to us: "Launch Out"! The word launch means to hurl, discharge, or send off; to send forth with force; to set in operation; to start on a new course, career or enterprise; to throw oneself (into) with vigor. Fishermen in Jesus' day would take a circular net with weights and cast it out on the water. After it sank, a drawstring would be pulled, and the catch brought in.

In Luke 5, Peter had been doing this all night and brought in nothing. He was exhausted, frustrated, and did not know what to do next. Jesus then gives him direction that is contrary to his thinking. He said, "Launch out and go deeper!" Peter doubted that Jesus could really understand his daily situation and the method of gaining the supply he needed. However, when he obeyed Jesus, he brought in an overwhelming catch that not only supplied his need, but his partners' need as well. The miracle overcame the doubt. Then the Lord said, now go forth and catch men (mankind). After this demonstration, the disciples went forth evangelizing.

The Lord wants to do miracles in our everyday lives. These miracles will cause supply to be released that will meet our needs. These miracles will cause faith to be released that will propel us forward to achieve God's Kingdom purposes in our particular territory. As we see Him move in our lives, we can have faith that an entire region can be freed from the clutch of Mammon and the power of covetousness.
Strategic, prophetic intercession must be properly aligned with apostolic government for spiritual breakthrough and harvest to occur. Therefore, we must continue to pray that the communication system between intercessors becomes very effective and that it connects properly with apostolic leadership and vision. Both will have to blend for us to become successful. So get ready to be launched into a new dimension as we pray for the release of harvest that has been held up in the last season in the Body of Christ.
